I'm a little worried about this jutsu being able to kill large numbers of low ranks (who might not have the Water Walking needed to avoid drowning while fighting). Not to mention the fact that if this was used in an village, it would easily affect other peoples topics and posts, which could be troublesome to work with, especially when you take into consideration the fact that people have different posting speeds. (So the water could technically rise 100 feet or so while people are posting)

Why Curtis, how come I didn't think about that... After all its so easily to swim when the water level is constantly rising, your under fear of drowning, and you HAVE A PERSON TRYING TO *)&%^*)& KILL YOU. Last time I checked swimming while having large metal objects thrown at you, or while your opponent is using the water around you to trying and crush you Isn't exactly the safest thing in the world.

There is a differences between swimming in a river and swimming in combat, especially since while your swimming, its impossible to make hand signs or swing a sword. How excatly can someone trying to swim defend themselves from someone who can just walk on the water over to him and stab him on the back.

Yes... Make hand signs under water... Shooting fire jutsu = Boiling your own skin off via boiling water and steam. Lightning jutsu why not.... after all there is no chance of electrocuting yourself now is there. Earth Jutsu... more like Mud Jutsu. All the majority of Wind Jutsu would do is make things harder for yourself via waves.

Genjutsu and Itjutsu require concentration to be effective, and attempting to stay afloat in a flood doesn't really give you time to prepare all that well. Taijutsu... right have you tried to do anything like that underwater... almost impossible to be effective. Thats not including the fact that people have to breath.
