She may be young, but she certainly is a work of art. This young lady has a short white hair, worn in a wild style. Her skin is a lovely light chocolate color; waxxed and flawless. She is fit, and judging by the growth on her chest she is on her way to becoming a woman. Her eyes are a yellow-green color and take on the look similar to that of a predator. Across her throat is a horizontal scar. She clothes herself in a light brown kimono with silver tree branch designs etched into the material. Her obi is also a bright snowwy white, while her sandals are only typical in shape and color. Tucked into her obi is a katana, its sheath is also a light bronw, decorated with leaveless branches. The Tsuka of the blade is a golden color and depicts the sun rising over a mountain.

Personality: Rei is a hard worker, she believes that because she was given what she has, she has to prove that she deserves it. This goes for anything she has been given, even if it is a gift, she felt she must repay it in some way or another. She has a deep sense of honor that she strives to uphold, and while she doesn't follow a nindo, she does have her own code of the warrior. She tends to come off as a serious individual, but that is only because she tends to be very responsible when it comes to her work ethic. She likes to live meagerly, and as such her favorite food is simple rice, though a variety of sauces is always welcome.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

Background:
Sometimes, in order to tell a story, one must begin the tale before the first page of the book has been turned. There once was a woman called Aya. She was a dark skinned beauty from the southern border of the Country. Aya came from a small family known to be blacksmiths. Aya's father used to provide weapons to the shinobi of the country until he passed away and the smithy fell into the hands of Aya's uncle. Her uncle had never been known for his kindness. He threw her out of the smithy and forced her to leave town. She had very little consolation, but at least her Uncle had allowed her to take some tools so she might be able to feed herself. She traveled the country, offering to do various jobs for the farmers. She could fix their tools and wagon wheels for prices lower than the city smithies. Naturally they gave her the opprotunity. The woman's life seemed to be picking up. Things looked good, and for the first time in her life she had the means to survive on her own.
This chapter of her life wouldn't last too much longer. Aya was waylaid by bandits. They defiled her and stole her tools before they left her on the side of the road. Robbed of her dignity and self esteem Aya continued her travels similar to the manner that she had before, but she quickly noted that her belly was beginning to grow. Aya was pregnant. It became harder and harder for her to travel, and it was difficult for her to find places to stay night after night. One morning she collapsed on the side of the road, her belly swollen after a tender eight months of being pregnant. She was becoming dehydrated and caught a fever. Both the lives of mother and child were at stake. Fortune seemed to have a way of favoring Aya. A passing priest saw her and let her ride his wagon. He brought her to the local shrine that he watched over and tended to her.
The woman was very sick, in the end the fever would claim her life... but somehow...her child would survive. Rei was born. As a little girl, she was raised by celibate priests at this shrine. The priests searched far and wide for any of her relatives that would be willing to take care of her and somehow managed to find Aya's Uncle. When the priest confronted her uncle, he told her of what had happened to her and told him about Rei. The man in tears for his grevious sin of throwing Aya out into the streets alone sought recompense by taking Rei into his care. Rei's Grand Uncle Toumas, as she learned to call him, brought her and the rest of his family to the village hidden in the clouds. He sent Rei to the shinobi academy here. Toumas forged Rei a lovely Daisho and presented it to her for her tenth birthday.
She learned the ways of the Shinobi taught her and fused them with the training that the priests at that local shrine had given her as well. She created her own path of the warrior. A way of honor and strength. She graduated with her class, but she was by no means above average. She studied the necessary jutsu, but had never truly been good at such things. Truthfully, what she excelled in was combat. When it came to battling it out toe to toe with someone, Rei tended to come out on top. One day at the academy when she was sparing with a partner, her partner accidentally slit her throat. This wound would never truly heal and would prevent Rei from talking the rest of her life. Her story has yet to be finished, in fact it has yet to be told. Ah no, I don't want to learn Ijutsu: I would like to learn Iaijutsu ~ its a style of Swordsmanship, its sometimes used interchangeably with battoujutsu
