I seriously recommend Junjou Romantica.

To some 'guys' it might be a bit of a marmite manga, you'll either love it or hate it. =P

Seriously though, really good storyline.

Plus I really really like Kekkaishi if anyone has heard of it? It's one of those manga's thats hard to explain it to people but its basically about these 'Kekkaishi'(Barrier Creators) who seal and destroy demons that threaten this special form of landand theres oh so many plot twists and what not.

Really good read.

FMA as in Full-Metal Alchemist? Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I'd read about how good it was and how much everyone loved the characters bla-bla-bla but it really didn't capture me at all. Just a kid with a ponytail and a plastic looking power rangers toy for an arm.
