Personality: Kaizen has always been extremely protective of Willow. Since she was born, he has constantly followed her, always shadowing her every move and looking after her. He is not aggressive for the most part; unless he deems someone as having done wrong by Willow. For the most part, Kaizen is shy around strangers; generally just ignoring them, even they attempt to pet him. Despite being usually placid, once provoked, the great-ape is ruthless. He will kill without hesitation; showing no interest in the pain he causes.

Background: Kaizen was once a simple Great-Ape that inhabited the woodlands around the Shinobi Village of Kirigakure. He lived the life of any normal ape; sharing his territory with the rest of his family. However, one day poachers came into the woods. Kaizen was able to escape, but the poachers had taken his family. He had been only 12 at the time. Years passed as Kaizen simply wandered the forests, living a lift of solitude.

However; one day the poachers returned. Recognizing them, the ape attacked in a fit of blind rage. He was 15 at the time, still fairly small; and this, he was overpowered. The poachers were dragging him away; when suddenly there was a flash of light. Once the light faded, the poachers were did and a man stood over Kaizen. A Kirigakure head-band gleamed in the sunlight. The mans name was Daemyn Saren; Willow's father.

Kaizen became Daemyn's faithful companion, aiding him in his duties as a Shinobi. The trend continued until the day Daemyn retired; moving his wife to the mountains where he settled down and had a family. A family which Kaizen was ofcourse apart of. Years passed and eventually the first daughter was born; Willow Saren.

Kaizen instantly became fond of Willow. He looked after her when she was a baby, constantly following her; protecting her. As time passed, the pair grew closer until they became basically best friends. Willow is now a Jounin of the mist and Kaizen serves her as he did her father. He is her Nin-Pet.
