(Basic) Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing) Rank: C (Advanced Genin Skill);
Type: Ninjutsu
- Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.
Dante started to walk quickly toward the Konoha plains, in order to do some intense training. Though as this crossed his mind he remembered that he did know anything that he should be training for. Dante stopped and looked at the Konoha gates. I need to get some jutsu scrolls to learn a few new techniques. But how? And what ones? Dante thought to himself. After a few seconds he got an idea. He knew that his uncle had a lot of jutsu scrolls in his library, if he could get to those he could practice for days.
Dante turned and headed to the Uchiha house all the while trying to think of a way to sneak into his uncles library. His uncle did not let him in there, not even for a second. He had to try to break in somehow. Dante stood at the corner just beyond the Uchiha complex. he looked at the walls the surrounded it, knowing he could jump over them easily. But he needed to get in under some sort of cover. Dante's eyes fell on a group of trees of the back of the walls. He smiled and headed to them.
he looked at a large tree in front of him, its heavy and sturdy branches hanging low over the Uchiha houses. He remembered a jutsu that one of his sensei's in the academy had talked about during a class. One that let you walk up walls and trees. he remember the sensei saying he needed to focus chakra into his feet and use it to attache himself to the surface while he walked. dante looked at his feet and then concentrated a bit of chakra to the soles of his feet. then he stepped out on the bark of the trunk and then took a breathe. he lifted his other foot and placed in the bark as well. Surprised that he did not fall. he did it. Dante walked up the tree then on to the branch. landing softly on the roof beneath it. He smiled at his achievement then started forward again.

- A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
His uncles library was at the other end of the complex and Dante had to find a way to get it without causing suspicion. As a low level Uchiha he was now in areas of the Uchiha complex that were off limits to him. If anyone caught him he would be in serious trouble. he tip-toed forward and dropped off silently from the roof where he was standing. He landed on soft grass with a quiet thudding noise and then crept alone the shadowed wall. trying to stay hidden as best he could.
Dante knew that being in shadow was not going to help him if one of the Uchiha had their Sharingan active, but he hoped that none of them did, that they did not have a reason to. He crept along the walls until he got to an opening. A garden was to his right, a wide river flowing through behind the houses. On his left it opened up to a large walkway, he heard voices to his left they were starting to come his way. Dante looked around, he had no where to hide he thought about jumping into the water, but if he did the Uchiha would surely hear him.
But the water was his escape. Dante looked at its surface, knowing just like with the tree, the was a jutsu that let him walk on this surface as well. It was similar, be required him to focus the chakra on dispersing his weight, keeping him from sinking. With no time to waste Dante again concentrated his chakra to his feet, and with caution stepped out on to the water. Like last time he he got it right away. Dante grinned then moved across the lake behind the buildings just as he heard the two Uchiha move down the path and into the area. He was almost there now, just a bit more to go.

Description: An advanced ninjutsu that allows a shinobi to basically become invisible. It acts on the principle of a chameleon, making the user appear the same way as the background, except from any point of view. To execute this jutsu, the user must form the required hand seals and then press against any surface until the camouflage is applied. They can then walk around freely without fear of being seen, but can still be detected by other means. Special detection techniques may be able to expose the person using this.
Dante ran across the river and made his way back to shore some yards away. His eyes fell on the building in front of him. It was small and a bit old, but it was what Dante was here for, his Uncle's Library. he crept up the steps slowly and slid open the door. It was dark and empty inside. No one was there and Dante was grateful. He shut the door behind him and then lit the lamp on the desk with a match from the box next it. The light filled the small room where Dante saw hundreds of scrolls and books. All looked old and dusty.
Dante moved to one wall where he saw many scrolls piled on one another. He Picked up on and opened it. It was the scroll to the Great fireball jutsu, one Dante already knew. He set that down and then opened another, reading and finding it to be a uselessly weak jutsu that he wouldn't waste his time with. Dante looked at the scrolls and noticed many of then had the Kani for fire on them. Dante took one of the dimensional bags he got from Kanaru earlier that day and filled one of its pocket with any scrolls he could with the Katon sign. Then he filled the other bag with any that had names that seemed promising.
One he saw had a picture of a person one it. half of him was gone and the other half fading. Dante Tied the bags to his waste and then opened up the scroll he had in his hands on the table. It read "Camouflage Concealment Technique". He read it over and looked at the hand signs he needed to perform. Dante straightened and made each sign carefully, making sure he got it right. As soon as he was finished with the last one Dante heard someone coming up the steps. He rolled up the scroll and put it in his pocket. He looked at the lamp that was still lit and went to put it out. But it was to late, the door to the study was already opening...
Dante jumped back and pressed against the wall, flowing his chakra throughout his body as he did so. He felt his body tingle and then grow warm. As this happened the figure behind the door stepped into the room. The lamp was still lit and illuminated the room. Dante looked at the Uchiha and knew it to be Saruso, an elderly Uchiha about fifty. he mumbled to himself and then looked around the room. His eyes fell on the area where Dante was and then scanned the rest of the walls. he looked at the lamp and then put it out. Again mumbling something Dante could not hear.
Dante let his chakra flow ease down and the warmth from his body ended. It seemed that the scroll was correct on the usage of the jutsu. Dante smiled and put the scroll to the jutsu he seemed to have just learned back on the shelf with the others he would not be taking to his training. he closely opened the door to the library and peered out, finding no one outside Dante crept out and moved down the stairs. He ran silently back to the stream and walked across it. Heading to the building that sat underneath the branches of the large tree he climbed earlier.
He dropped on the other side of the all and then took off toward the Konoha gates. He had three new jutsu under his belt and a about ten more scrolls attached to it ready to be read as well. Dante felt that this particular training day was going to be more rewarding then any other. He couldn't wait to head out further to try the hardest jutsu he could find in his bags.

Description: This is a devastating fire element technique. After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will expel a huge mass of fire from their mouth in a wide arc. This fire spreads along the ground like napalm and is hard to put out. Once the jutsu reaches the maximum distance, which is about sixty feet, the fiery mass combusts again, causing a large explosion. Only someone with a strong affinity for fire element can execute this technique.
Using 40TP to bring post requirment from 8 to 6.

Dante moved out into the wide grassy plains and looked around him. As far as he can tell he was alone and no one was around to interrupt his training. Dante looked into his bag and quickly pulled out a scroll that looked promising, it read :Katon: Head Mincing Pain. The name was weird to Dante but he kept reading. The jutsu seemed like a high level one to Dante, and he sit down the scroll to try out the hand seals. It was not a complicated set so Dante tried it out. He went through them easily and he felt confident.
Dante moved the scroll and his bags out of the way so that they would not get burned by the jutsu if it goes wrong. Then he repeated the hand seals, cycling through them in quick succession. He ended with the tiger seal then sucked in a deep breathe. He focused his chakra in his lungs and built it up, forming and mixing it with his fire chakra. The chakra began to warm up and then suddenly built into a very strong heat inside his body. dante felt it was ready to try the jutsu.
Dante kept the Tiger seal while he pressed to his chest. he felt the chakra he built up in his chest start really cause him some pain now as he held it in. Then finally he exhaled, pushing out the chakra he built up along with his breath. Though instead of a thick red substance like the scroll depicted, only flame and smoke erupted from Dante's mouth. Dante coughed chocking a bit on the smoke as it came out. He took a step back and sat down. He picked up the scroll and looked at through watery eyes. He didn't get why he failed. ' I will just have to compress it more I guess. Make it more like a liquid, makes sens. Dante stood up, ready to give it another go.
Dante made the Hand seals again and pressed the tiger seal to his chest. Again he built up the chakra inside his lungs, mixing it with his fire chakra and letting it build. Though this time he also spent time compressing it, making sure it didn't end up smoke a flame again. the heat and pain came more quickly this time and he felt after just a few seconds he had to expell it or else his chest would burn away.
Dante straightened up and exhaled, pushing out the lava hot chakra build in his body. He spat forth a long stream of red smoldering liquid that fell on the grassy ground. As soon as it hit the ground though it fluttered in flames and died down. Turning into a mass of gooey warm substance. Nothing like Dante had wanted. Somehow he forgot something. He scowled and hen swpet up the scroll in his hands. The liquid was supposed to spread along the ground. Which means he had most likely compressed his chakra to much, it couldn't go anywhere. ' Ok then, ease it up this time. Make it just right."
Dante built his fire chakra in his chest, mixing and compressing it slowly, making sure not to make the compression result in the thick mass that he did last time. The heat built inside him again and he kept in for awhile, making sure he focused his chakra correctly. He didn't want to mess this one up, and he felt like failure the last two times he did. finally he spit out the red liquid on the grass and the long stream seemed to start covering a large area before him. As he closed his mouth to watch his handiwork it already covered a good distance. Hten it stopped and bubbled a bit, before dieing out. He stomped his foot as his anger flared up. He wasn't going to give up.
Dante read of the scroll one more time. After spreading out the ooze was supposed to explode in flames with a powerful heat. But it didn't of course. he needed to keep the ooze chkra charged to explode. he tossed away the scroll then made the hand seals and mixed his chakra doing the same way he did last time. Though now simply supercharging the mass in his chest with energy. Then with a quick movement he spat all out in a long stream. It covered the old mass of goo and then sat for a few seconds. It bubbled then burst into flames on the surface creating a mass of smoke before cooling down again. Dante pulled out his sword and stuck into the ground, cracking the earth beneath him. He was mad now.
