"I apologize." He said as he looked at the moon, his eyes shining silver in the moonlight. "It bothers me when people insinuate things so I get very defensive. But I guess you're right to be distrusting. After all, a random stranger brought you to their home and nursed you back to health. As if expecting some kind of payment." He said nonchalantly. In fact he didn't care if he was repaid or not, he care more about taking care of Ejiki till he was better. He knew that would be soon however but that didn't bother him. Soon he'll be healed and out of the house and Daisuke would wait for his shipment of blood to arrive.

As Ejiki began to feel better he sat up in the bed, now looking for the first true time at his savior. This man seemed cold, dark, Alone... The blonde boy intrigued him. He looked to be somewhat similar in age to Ejiki, yet his mannerisms were that of an adult, Ejiki could not help but ask questions, which seemed odd, considering coversation was not one of his hoobies.

"So... You live here alone?" the voice of Ejiki was much more innocent and curious in nature, as if he was somewhat nervous to be asking questions of his host. Ejiki remained silent, looking at the bed as he awaited a response.

Farmers come and go and take what they wish and leave me some money but I don't bother with it. I like being here. I have 10 horses, 4 cows and several dozen chickens." He said softly as he looked at the moon, it sparkled radiantly in his eyes and his blond hair seemed to shine. He hated this look. It made him look angelic when he was really demonic. He leaned on the wall and kept his gaze on the window.

Ejiki was somewhat impressed with the mans financial standings, such a feat at a young age... inheritance most likely, and Ejiki wasn't about to bring up a conversation he himself didn't want to discuss. Instead he ran his right hand through the unruly black hair of his, setting it in what appeared to be a stylish but messy manner, he looked towards the ceiling, the walls, the floor, trying to find a peice of conversation material but nothing stood out to him, nothing was good enough.

Perhaps Ejiki was hopeless at this kind of... huh, something was happening, a sharp pain in his cranium, a flood of memory, it was too much to take and Ejiki bent over holding his head, this was one of the worst migrains of his life.

I have to think fast, while he's not looking, I'll close the door and help him.~ Daisuke said as he waited for his cue. When the time was right and he held his head, he quickly moved to the door which closed silently and he walked over to the bed and looked Ejiki. "Are you okay? I don't even know your name. Can you tell you name?" He said concerned that something much worse then he anticipated was about to happen to them.

The memories continued to flow, causing more pain and then....

They stopped, not just stopped, they took their place in Ejiki's memory banks, everything that had transpired, the looming figure, the snatch, the bite, the pain, the rush, the excitement.... it was all there, as if it had always been there. Ejiki turned his head, still hidden beneath his hands towards the monster,

"What are you?"

Daisuke winced at the question and then stood up. He walked around the bed for a moment and then stopped mid-step and looked at Ejiki. "In truth? I don't know myself. Some call it Vampirism. Others call it a sickness of the blood. I call it damnation." He said as he smashed a nearby lamp. "I drink blood to live. I have a life span that extends incredible. I'm 16 in looks 22 in age. I'll never see what I'll look like beyond this age. It sickens me. I loath it passionately!" He said as he kicked the bed and made it jump. "I'm alone because people abandon me. I'm a monster. Is that what you wanted to hear?"

Ejiki sat silent, slowly rubbing the place on his neck were the bite would have been, instead of what he would have considered the usual hateful and protestant response that orignally came to mind, Ejiki... responded differently.

"Will... will I turn aswell? I heard stories, old stories about the vampires, my grandfather was apparently a famous hunter of such, I... Im not mad you know..."

Ejiki through a small small up, which quickly fell back to a saddened frown, this was all so fast, so unexpected, was Ejiki still dreaming?

Daisuke said as he leaned against the wall and then sighed. "The rush you felt is a toxin in our bite. It makes you want more. I makes you feel as if it's the best thing in your life." He said as he opened his mouth and revealed the pointed teeth that was the most obvious clue the fact he was no longer denying it. "Which is why when I drained you, I brought you back here. I felt bad that I did and took so much from you."

Ejiki let out a sigh of relief,

"You know your much more civilized than the stories proclaim your kind, but you said you this was your damnation? does that mean you felt life once, we're you human before?"

Ejiki had so many questions he was positive he would only annoy the being, instead he shut himself up, rubbed his neck a bit more and asked a different question instead, one he cared more about,

"How often does your kind need to feed?" Ejiki looked at the being now, his eyes broad awaiting a response.
