Loki continued spinning his chain as he heard the kunai's make contact. He closed his eyes and visualized the forest around them and remembered the grouping of trees. He knew he hit a tree nearby to the left because it was the first sound to resonate. This also led him to believe that if he were Tai, he would move to the left to mask his presence since the grouping of trees would have been denser. However, he understood that playing games in the mist would no longer be to his advantage as he soon sensed the approaching of others. He doubted it was someone other then Tai since he couldn't find a definitive smell.

"Who else could be here with no smell. Unless...." Loki's eyes opened wide as he swung from the tree he was on to another tree to the left. However, a loud voice rang in his ears and he fell to the floor. His sensitive ears were now ringing and he was at a more severe disadvantage. Knowing that the hiding game wouldn't beseech him, he would have to end his current strategy and fight head on. He stood up weakly and then held a hand seal. "Release." He said as the mist began to rise slowly and dissipate. As he stood there, the sun shone down on them and he could see the three Tai copies standing at the tree.

"He can clone himself?! What the hell!" Loki said as he began getting frustrated with the battle and then charged the clones. HE jumped up into the air and began spinning the chain in his hand. In fact, he spun it so fast, he hovered a bit. As he stood right over them, he smiled. "One of you is the real one!" He said as he slammed down the heavy chain on one of the clones. However, he was not happy when the clone dispersed and instead shocked him back several feet. "What was that!?"

Tai smiled at Loki. He knew that a few wrong choices and he would be in a world of hurt. Tai decided it was time to let Loki taste his tegaki. tai didn't want to hurt him but, he had to let Loki see what it was like. tai prayed that Loki would understand. Tai showed nothing on his face. He dispelled his sound justsu and spoke. "Well... that... is a little trick I learned a while back... pretty neat right? If I use it right.... hehehe... well..... I geuss you'll have to see." Tai smiled and begun to circle Loki much like sharks circle thier prey. "Well.... time to have fun eh?" All at the same time, the three Tais ran forward and attacked with a sweeping slash. Should be easy enough for him... I left enough openings.... lets just see if he takes the one I'm xpecting him to do.......

Loki looked on breathing hard as his body was having a hard time trying to move about from the secret shock he had just received from the clone. He took a step back, swinging the chain and then took out three kunais as he kept walking back. But then Tai's voice would make him stop as he could feel his new master walking around him in a circle. Loki turned around and could see Tai sweeping around him while the other clones were moving in. He closed his eyes, his chain beginning to stop spinning. His body was shaking in fear. ~Don't be scared. He's not gonna kill you Loki. You have to toughen up.~

Loki opened his eyes and then began spinning his chain at full speed as he looked at Tai with eyes much more different. He no longer looked like someone whose eyes were weak. It was like another entity took over. "You keep saying this is training but it comes awfully close to trying to hurt me a lot. I can't let you do that." He said as hooked on Kunai into the chain. "I'm not the best ninja out there but I try to be the best for my master!" He said as his tail grabbed 5 Shurikens and he hooked the last kunai into the chain.

"I've never successfully done this move because I don't know how it'll work. But if it does, at least, I can move away, otherwise, the only way out is up." He thought to himself and then began spinning the chain. "Okay.... let's play then." He said as he began to spin around in a circle. As he did, the kunais on the chain began to make clanking noise. He spun faster in place and the stopped and took one mighty swing forward, releasing the kunais and shurikens from his tail and chain forward. He leaped forward to see if he could escape the encirclement.

Tai watched as Loki released a barrage of shuriken and kunai. Tai smiled and jumped back. He knew that he wold still get hit but, his clones would be hit even closer to Loki than he was. He didn't want to be caught in the shock that would be coming to the two destroyed clones. As the shuriken flew forward, they caught him in the chest and knocked him to the ground. There was only two of them and he put his hands over them and fell to his side. He lay there on the ground as he slowly closed his eyes, going into a relaxed state. Heh.... he got me..... lets see if he will finish this fight......

Loki looked down as his Kunais and Shurikens hit their targets and watched as 2 of the clones exploded into a blast of lightning. Because he was already in mid-flight, the explosion caught him and he flew into a tree, headfirst. He fell back down, bleeding profusely from his head. He stood up weakly, his clothes tattered a bloodied. The area of the forest they were in was actually blackened and some part were on fire. He took a step forward and wanted to scream in pain as his leg got injured in the small blast. He stumped his way over to where Tai was, on the floor. He could see that he got the real one and began to groan in pain and self hatred.

He took a knee, wincing in extreme pain and grunting. He dug into his back pocket and removed his master's hands from the inserted weapons. He slowly pulled them out, his own blood, dripping on to Tai's clothing. His left eye closed softly as blood coursed over it. He took out a small first-aid kit and opened it up. He began a small process to heal up his master with a body bandage. He smiled weakly as he finished and then fell himself unconscious to the floor beside Tai. ~You did... okay. Next time, learn from your mistakes and find openings.~

Loki smiled to himself as the last thing he saw was his master on the floor beside him.

Tai opened his eyes and looked at Loki. The poor thing had passed out beside him. Tai took off the bandge that was laying on him. There was no blood nor even a wound. He had be using Suika. Tai had been expecting Loki to come over to him but, he hadn't expected Loki to just pass out. I must of over did it....... poor Loki.... this is why.... I must prepare him.... Ti bandaged up Loki's wounds a best he could. He never had any medical training but, he thought he had done pretty well. Tai then picked up Loki and begun to walk. As he walked another vision came to him.

(flash back)

Her body lay limp in his arms as he carried her past the dead bodies on the floor. They lay scattered like leaves blown by the wind. The smell of death and anger hung in the air. As he carried her, tears ran down his face as he walked. A man appeared behind him. 'Tai you fool..... her death is all your fault..... hehehe...... you will relize it soon enough...." A scythe pst through the place that the man had been standing. Tai's eyes gleamed in anger. "You......will..... pay......"

Loki felt his body be lifted from the floor and he began to wonder if he had made it to heaven somehow. His body felt light and he tried to open his eyes but his mind refused to accept the request. He no longer felt the coolness of a liquid flowing from his head but there was an extreme pain in his head. He wanted to move, he wanted to see, he wanted not to feel alone. His life stuck in servitude, he never really had his own life. His eyes sent out some tears as the seal on his body began to shine and disperse. And with that, the chain around his neck fell to the floor. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Tai, carrying him.

Tai looked down at Loki. His eyes were filled with sadness. Once again he had hurt someone. He seemed to always be hurting people. He looked deep into Loki's eyes. "I'm sorry...." He looked up into the sky. "Loki.... let me tell you my dream.... I dream of a place where people will no longer need to battle like this... a place where people can laugh in the joy of broterhood instead of cry because of pain. A place that will let people be more than just shinobi...... I want to create a place like that.... I want to be remembered for the happiness I gave people.... not the death I dealt...... unfortunately, until that day comes.... I will have to deal death. It is the only thin I know I can do........"

Loki looked on at Tai and then noticed the chain around his neck was go, he didn't feel heavy there. As Tai spoke, Loki listened to each word as if absorbing them to be his own. Somehow, some way, Loki had gotten to feel the pain his master was feeling. And it pained him too. When he was done, he wrapped his arms around Tai's neck as Tai continued to carry him and rested his head on the ninja's chest. He held Tai's neck securely as to not choke him but to show he was holding it. "I don't believe..." He said softly. "... that's all you're made for. I think you can do more."
