Successfully performing the hand seals and molding the chakra, the sand beneath Tetsaku softened and his feet moved into the ground. This was where it ended. He did not use his chakra properly and the ground was not soft enough for him to fully burrow into it. Sighing, he bend down and began to dig out his feet by pushing the sand to the side with his hands. He closed his eyes and began to focus. Focusing in the desert sun can be a bit difficult, and it took several moments befor ehe could clear his mind.

He made another atempt at performing the jutsu. This time, he was a tad bit more succesful and his lower leg was entirely in the sand. Unfortunately, this made it more difficult to dig out of the sand. Shouting at himself in anger, he began to dig himself out of the sand. He gritted his teeth and kicked some sand into the distance. He clenched his right fist and and his body began to quiver. "Ugh, this did not go very good. No, no no."

Tetsaku stood silently in the desert. He unclenched his fist and took a deep breath. "Focus." he thought If I get angry so easily, I cannot continue. He cursed under his breath before he moved to sit beneath a rock to shelter him from the sun. Tetsaku performed the hand seals slowly, not molding chakra at the time. He repeated the process multiple times before he stood and moved away from the rock.

He threw his right arm into the air,"This time I will get further!" Tetsaku performed the hand seals and this time, he entered the sand loosened enough for him to submerge completely. He almost shouted in joy. That was until he realized he could not move into any direction. Tetsaku successfuly submerged, but he has not yet mastered the underground movement.

Tetsaku crawled on his knees, feeling on the sand. He grabbed a hand of sand and let it run through his fingers. By now he was used to the sun-scorched sand and was no longer bothered by its heat. He then layed completely on the ground, rolling in the sand. As he stood, he traced his hands along the clothing, removing the sand that stuck to it. Tetsaku nodded to himself and began to perform the hand seals once more.

He moved into the sands with ease. He had no problem with the submerging part of the technique. Tetsaku could move several feet in the sand before the thickness of the sand prevented him from moving further. It appears as if he did not make use of enough chakra, else he would be able to continue to move. He crawled backwards and moved on to the surface again. "I can move a bit further now. A good start, at least.

He made a further attempt at the technique. Tetsaku glanced at the rock against which he leaned not very long ago. [color=Font red]"I will have to move to that rock. Yes, yes. [/color] This time, he used more chakra and submerged successfuly. He moved through the ground without hindrances after constantly relasing chakra to loosen the sand, and leaped out near what he thought was the rock. He stared into the distance with a frown, seeing no sign of the rock. Turning sharply on his heel, he noticed that the rock was several feet behind him.

I judged where I would have to come from the sand by attempting to judge the distance. That was not very successful. He performed the technique and submerged into the ground. He remained there and closed his eyes. Tetsaku took a deep breath and focused intensely. He slowly became aware of the surroundings. He could feel several insects move across the sand. Tetsaku continued to focus, attempting to locate the rock not with one of his five senses, but through the use of the technique he is practicing.

Still underground, Tetsaku opened his eyes moved in the direction of the rock. He continued to concentrate deeply, hoping that he could predict the location of the rock. Tetsaku's concentration was successful, and he leaped out of the sand near the rock, landing on it. He dropped onto his buttocks and smiled widely.

"The legs alone will not do it. Then my entire body. I must use my entire body when moving. After all, when I run, I thrust my elbowsback and forth. Tetsaku focused chakra, and let it flow throughout his entire body instead of concentrating it in a single point such as the leg. Before performing the hand seals, he darted forward. Nodding slowly, he returned to his position and began to perform the hand seals.

Once again he did not succeed in moving. Immediately, he performed the hand seals again. This time, he made certain to use more chakra. To let more chakra flow through his body. He moved forwards three feets at a high speed. He was still visible to the eye, but at least he succeeded in his movement. He understood that if he uses not enough chakra, he cannot move. Enough chakra was used to move quickly,"Will I have to use more chakra, or must I use the chakra differently if I want to move further?"

Tetsaku again sat in the shade of the rock with his legs folded. Standing, he folded his arms and stared into the distance. Then he stared at his feet. Tetsaku kneeled and grabbed a handful of sand. He let the sand flow through his fingers on to his feet and once more took a hand of sand. Narrowing his eyes, he threw the sand in the air. "If I use this to cover my movements, and the sight of the enemy."

He moved away from the rock to stand under the sun. He performed the hand seals of the Body Flicker technique and send chakra through his legs into the sand. A bit of the sand flew into the air, and covered his feet and lower legs. He repated the process again, only this time, the sand covered him entirely. After several seconds, the sand fell. He still stood amidst the sand with no movement whatsoever. The sand would be excellent to use as a cover for his movements. He understood this much. Now he had to move to the next step. Using the sand as a cover at the same time he moves.

Tetsaku performed the hand seals again, and this time, he leaped backwards through the sand."This is what I will have to do. The sand will cover my movement. I can move backwards while the sand prevents the opponent from seeing me. But now I will have to move while the sand covers me. Tetsaku performed the hand seals, and he moved quick enough so that it would be dififcult for the untrained eye to follow. Yet, he moved a bit too late, and the first sign of movement did not occur until the sand had already fallen.

This time, he let the chakra flow through his legs onto the ground while more chakra flowed through his thighs, chest, and arms. The sand moved into the air to cover his movement. While moving backwards, he stepped sideways onto the ground with his right foot and he tripped, falling onto his back. Tetsaku understood how to perform the hand seals and how to use the chakra, but he did not yet move his feet to prevent a mistake as this from happening.

Tetsaku practiced performing the hand seals and then moving immediately, at an increased speed. He did not use much chakra at first, which caused his movement to be quicker than that of those who do not use chakra, but still not so fast that the movement would be unseen. He repated the process five times before he decied to use all aspects of the technique.

Tetsaku's next attempt at performing the beginning part of the technique was successful. The sand covered his body as he moved backwards. His speed with moving could be improved. Tetsaku, this time, performed the technique again to move forward, without using the sand to cover his movements. With each continud attempt, he moved quicker. Deciding that it was easier to move forward, he attempted it again, this time sending the chakra through his legs into the sand to cover his body. Swiftly he moved through the sand and several feet forwards. This movement was quick, difficult to follow, and effective. Unfortunately, forward movement is easy to track.

Immediately, he performed the technique again. This time, moving backwards. He placed his feet back carefully as he dashed backwards under the cover of the sand. After succeeding in the backwards movement, he moved to the left and the right. With each new direction, he practiced placing his feet at first. After he could place his feet properly for the movement, he performed the technique. After learning to move in each direction without tripping over his feet, he stared at the rock. The sand flew into the air, covering his body in entirety. Before the sand fell completely to the ground, he moved to kneel before the rock.

He leaned back against the rock under the shadow, sighing in relief. He succeeded in performing the body flicker technique. He was fatigued from the practice and sat there for several more moments before walking home.
