Making a pouting face Mei just stood up, and turned to face away from both of them. Alright I will play nice..... I see how it is, Hideo you have the hots for her, and you take her side on everything, so I suppose I will just take my leave for now, and go play nice. looking behind her shoulder with her evil eyes still blazing in full darkness form she spoke And don't you dare follow me Hideo. With a flap of her wings she took off toward wherever she was going, and attmepted to mask where she was going to prevent anyone from messing with her plans.

Admittedly Cielle felt quite a bit better with the other girl gone. Temperamental folks were hard to predict, and therefore harder to deal with, but Mei's certain turnabouts had set her on edge a bit. Mildly, she did wonder if the girl had been jealous for some silly reason, or so it had sounded there. She must really like Hideo...or not. Regardless, there was a bit of a relaxing feeling in the air now, given that Hideo seemed tired, as well as laid back, so she could fully concentrate without worrying about another outburst from the overly hormonal girl.

'As I said, we all have to start somewhere. She just happened to come along at my near starting point,' not like Cielle was clueless in the ways of medicine, but she didn't yet have any beneficial techniques to improve a patient's chances with. So hence the carving of a deer, and now the mending of a fish. Did all medics-in-training have to do this sort of stuff, or was this simply her going about it the more difficult way? With all her wonderings and thoughts, she looked down to discovered she'd mended another fish without paying attention. While normally a feat, she could tell she hadn't done it spectacularly, and had the fish been a patient she would've had to reopen the wound to do a proper job on it.

And so shoving the failed one aside, she grabbed another and placed it before her, allowing her eyes to absorb the wound's appearance and what would have to be mended before beginning the process this time. Muscle needed to be reattached, and some reformed, two bones at least on each side had been shoved far out of place, and were now sitting horizontally along the belly of the fish, and some simple blood flow traffic had been shredded beyond recognition. As she began the process it felt far easier than the first attempt, although that had been the truer of tests. But at the same time she couldn't help but think that perhaps that strange event years ago might mean something now. For the past while she hadn't even thought about that strange time in her younger years, but as she pulled her hands away from the now mended fish - still some mild imperfections - she felt the marks under her bangs, still keeping them from view from Hideo. Yes, still there, still appearing whenever she used Chakra, but it felt more...prominent now while she'd been practicing the other technique, and now this one.

It was certainly helpful, but she still couldn't help but hope that this wouldn't lead to something awful in the future. The dark thoughts weren't helping, and so she simply reached for another fish, putting it out of her mind with the thoughts of practice and making sure she had this down pat lest she be required to use it soon.

Retracting the weapon, Hideo snorted. He couldn't follow her, even if he did want to. In his current state, walking was a chore. Tailing an airborne target was out of the question. It was probably for the better, though. It seems that trouble followed her just fine, so he didn't have to. Besides, what actual business would he have with someone who was such a kid. He slid the kunai back into its respective place, putting his head down again.

"You don't have to forgive her," he said, "If I hadn't stepped in, she was likely to have tried to tear you apart. Don't let the cute exterior, and the act that comes with it, fool you. She's a demon in little girl's clothing."

Through his half closed eyes, he kept an eye on the other Kumo ninja. There was no telling if the demon girl would return to wreak havoc. Cielle bing a medical practitioner, she wasn't likely to know how to defend herself. Besides, he had experience with Mei, where she didn't. If worse came to worse, he would have to push himself to defend an innocent. Now, if Cielle had struck the girl, or stabbed or, then she would have every reason to fight the demon herself. Sadly, that was not the case. So, sleep was a no go. Hideo would remain on watch for the time being.

"I don't see a reason to forgive her...if she is herself, then that's what she is. I suppose I can't fault her for that," Cielle's expression was unsure though. It wouldn't have been good if the girl had turned to the offensive, rather than sticking to words, or flying off. Worse came to worse, aiming was one of Cielle's higher points, and she had a decent arsenal of smoke bombs to make sight a hardship for a long while, possibly back to the village, but she'd rather not waste them unless necessary. "But...thank you for stepping in then. It'd be a shame to die or become useless so early."

Another fish done, she pushed it into the "healed" pile, looking at Hideo to flash a smile. It faded almost as fast as her eyes stared into his own, and over his posture. It looked more like a position one would take to relax, but he was choosing to stay awake, and she could only wonder at how someone could retrieve so many fish and still carry them back. Whatever his technique, it might've cost a good deal, but at the same time he wasn't resting, but wasn't taking pursuit either. "If you're tired, you're welcome to lightly nap...its not a wonderful as a full on rest, but it works in a pinch, especially if you need to recharge a bit." It was more of a military type rest, wherein at the slightest disturbance or sensation of 'something being wrong' the person would awaken, or sometimes they set their internal clocks to awaken exactly in so much time. Not an easy feat, but if he could rest his eyes just enough, and his body a bit, perhaps he wouldn't be so bad off, "Also, there's still some deer meat left, if you're hungry. Just put it a bit closer to the fire and it should be done soon since it was cooking earlier."

Turning back to her practice, she figured a few more times and she might have this well enough down. Besides, she'd likely tire herself out too much to be of any real use if she went and patched up the whole batch of fish. Running her hands to feel the body of the fish while observing the damage in the hole, she then proceeded to fix this one up, melding the tissues back together, moving the thin bones back into place, and sealing the hole up before shoving it into the healed pile and performing the same task on another one.

It was with each passing fish, and their slightly different and similar "wounds" Cielle found the technique not only easier and easier to perform on some level - well, the lowest for a beginner - but discovered the wide range of its abilities. Muscles were restored and repaired, blood flow could be reconnected, tendons reattached, bones forced back together and repaired far faster than normal means, and at points she momentarily felt a spark of life within the fish before it fluttered out again. That was likely due to the lack of water to aid in their breathing. Even over time she was able to duplicate the scale pattern, rather than simply covering over the muscle with the thin layer of what could be passed for nearly translucent skin. They were still odd, but at the same time practicing their own regrowth and reformation proved far more beneficial as it demanded not only an eye for detail, but the complete and full concentration to the task at hand, no failure allowed lest the pattern become broken. But only someone skilled, practiced, and determined, would continue to heal the whole pile.

Finally calling it quits, yet again, she took some of the unhealed fish - perhaps a desire to not ruin her work just yet - and headed over to the fire. Extracting the same kunai she'd used to dissect the deer with, Cielle proceeded to begin skinning the fish, cutting off pieces of meat and trying to extract bones. From there the chunks would be speared onto a stick and placed close to the fire, making a very simplistic and meat-only kabob. She wasn't fully drained from the continuous use of the technique, still feeling some decent amount of chakra inside, but at the same time the break and food would help to alleviate the tired feeling from the training. Absentmindedly she wished she had some fruit to at least add some different flavors to the kabobs, and finally recalled she had a peach and two apples in her pack - she hadn't exactly predicted the deer and fish - and fished them out, slicing them as well to add to the kabobs.

"You're welcome to some of the fish kabobs if you don't want any of the deer," she offered Hideo, in case he wasn't as interested in the currently already cooked deer meat. It was only fair, considering he'd been gracious enough to fetch the things for her, and she always felt a bit better after a snack or meal.
