Cielle, now with some of the deer meat cooked and chomping on some, looked up to spy Hideo a few feet away, and with the fish...finally. Sadly a bit too late, seeing as she'd had to have hacked up an already deceased deer instead for her practices. A new idea formed, seeing as the fish had been stabbed through, and thus...injured...dead, but their bodies were still injured. Perhaps a new purpose for them, rather than the intended? It wasn't until this moment she also realized a bit of her own rudness.
"Over here Hideo...if I'm allowed to address you as such...and I'm Cielle, since I forgot to introduce myself earlier. Um...deer meat?" she offered lamely. There wasn't really a recovery from the absolutely ridiculous forgetting of introducing herself. "Sorry, I kinda went on without the fish....got a little impatient...although they can still serve a training practice." Come to think of it, one of the other two techniques - and looking at Mei she could benefit as a practice dummy too - would work wonderfully with the hole-filled fish.
"In fact, they'll be perfect for one of the other techniques I wanna learn, seeing as its a sort of 'heal all' kinda thing. The wholes in them will work perfectly...as well as any injuries Mei sustained from fighting with that squirrel."'Teach her to mess with the cute, fuzzy critters,' Cielle thought, with very little sympathy towards the other girl. Wiping a hand off on her shirt, she extracted her pack from the bush, pulling out one of the scrolls and found it to be, thankfully, the right one, holding the "Mystical Hand Technique" inside. She stuck some more deer meat on a few more sticks, for Hideo and Mei, and was taking another to eat for herself since it was cooked as she began to read over the new scroll. This was more of what she needed, though the other would be useful from time to time surely.

Mei's head was spinning as she stirred a bit in her 'sleep', though in reality it was more of a nightmare than anything. It all started with the squirrel, the deadly squirrel that had proved itself to be a worthy opponent to Mei, but that was not the end of the squirrel from her thoughts, for as she was out cold, a dream flooded her mind.
It was a peaceful setting, the sun was out, and there was the scent of... death? Mei stood there among the corpses of those who had opposed her attempt to show them the power of chaos, and began to laugh. It was all to easy of a task for her, all of them were nothing more than lambs to the slaughter. As Mei admired her handy work a small figure appeared in the background of her vision. Quickly she glanced over at it, only to find that it was a cute little squirrel, laughing Mei threw a senbon at it, only to find it blocked by an acorn, and not just one acorn but a whole barrage of them. Looking stunned at the barrage that blocked her attack Mei then noticed that the squirrel was not alone.
Taking a step back Mei saw them, dozens of shadowy figures emerging from the rubble of the town, each one a terror, each one a warrior of great power, for they were the Squirrel legion, the most powerful warriors this side of a Disney movie. As they amassed one of them began to speak. You are the one who insulted our brother with your attack, for that you shall learn the power of our acorn bombs, for we are the black crusade of squirrels the legion of death, and the car destroyers. With thousands of small chirping chuckles each squirrel threw acorns at Mei, each one hitting her, each one exploding with sugary goodness. Mei let out a scream of pain as she was toppled beneath the torrent of attacks, and soon after found herself ensnared in a fiendish trap. It was the almighty Abraham Lincoln nut cracker.
Shivering Mei looked in horror as the Christmas decoration began to clack and made its over towards her glaring, and spouting the Gettysburg address. As it descended upon her she could hear the chanting of the squirrels calling out in gibberish, and asking for her death, and within the next few seconds the Nut cracker was upon her, and Mei awoke in a panicked state. Squirrels..... Abraham Lincoln....Legion.... NUT CRACKER! she yelled as she took flight without looking, and bumped into a tree, and fell to the ground in a bit of a daze again. For score, and seven years ago...... she said her head swirling around, and her body bobbing and weaving back, and forth. Squirrels? What did squirrels have to do with anything? As if to answer the question, or maybe just add more to it, Mei suddenly started shouting, and flew into a tree. Apparently, he'd missed something while he was away. For all of two seconds, his mouth hung open, as though he wanted to ask his questions. But, two seconds was all he needed to remember that when asking a question, one usually got an answer. Something told him that he didn't want to know this particular answer. So, as his jaw snapped shut, he shook his head, turning his attention back to Cielle.
"Yeah, you can call me by that," he responded at long last, "It is my name, after all." He noted the new scroll she was reading through, another medical technique, from the sounds of it. "Well, like I said, I got a little carried away. Apparently, fishing is rather relaxing." What he didn't say was that he figured it was because the demon girl wasn't around. "Anyway, I'm glad that you can find them of use for this technique as well. It would have been a shame to kill them all in vain." _________________ The self proclaimed Harbinger of Change. Whatever was going through Mei's head was likely induced by the "severe" beating she'd suffered. Or maybe she was just rather susceptible to squirrels....or her dreams were easily influenced by life? Whatever the case was she seemed to spasm and spout utter nonsense. 'She might be the final test dummy, I'd hate to contort an already messed up brain with a mediocre healing job.'
"Don't worry, I wouldn't let them be killed in vain. Besides they can be saved for a later date back home, and possibly sell a few for a tiny bit of money in the market place if there's too terribly much between the lot of us." Cielle smiled up at Hideo, "But I do thank you for getting them, nonetheless!" He had gone through the trouble of getting them, and so deserved a proper thank you. Again her eyes turned downwards though, repeating the hand sequence in her head over and over again. From the looks of it this might have been the better one to begin with, but over all it worked the other way too and so the Chakra Scalpels had been a sort of practice of molding chakra, which this one required as well.
'Wow, no wonder this is rather the mother technique, with the myriad of things it can perform upon the will of the user!' she thought to herself, reviewing what it was capable of as well. Since the fish had been pierced through, she could practice closing the holes up with her chakra. In addition, she could remove any bacteria - and perhaps find and remove any worms to prevent health problems down the road. Vaguely she wondered about another side to this technique, but such would not only require additional studies, and manipulation at another date, but would cause for a reworking of this technique, so she shoved the idea off for later when she was in the mood for the more inventive state it would require. _________________ My plan:

As she laid there Mei flickered in, and out of a state of shock, and panic. They were all around her, the legion of squirrels, and it scared her. With a quick flip back onto her feet Mei looked around still a little out of it, and turned to see Cielle and Hideo talking about fish, and Cielle performing some kind of jutsu, and Mei became a little curious, and when she faintly heard Hideo mention something about medical jutsu, she remembered that, that was what Cielle was learning, and making a slow pathetic attempt to move of towards them Mei eventually moved over near them.
Hideo..... I just got beaten up a squirrel, and got a boo boo on my head! It hurts too, make it feel better. she said pouting like a five year old who had dropped their candy. With the same pouting face she then directed her attention toward Cielle, and flashed her some bambie eyes. Your a medic right, could you make a boo boo feel better? Pweeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeee~ <3 Mei said looking both pathetic, and cute at the same time at her. He was speechless. Though, no matter how hard he wished it, this was not the first time. Mei had a way of bringing about such a reaction. Who the hell gets attacked by a squirrel? About then, he remembered his prior comment, about grabbing the animals to practice on. Slapping his palm against his forehead, Hideo sighed. "Mei, I wasn't serious about the squirrels." Removing the hand from his head, he placed it upon hers, patting lightly. "Though, it must have been a demon squirrel, if it got you this badly. It's hard to imagine that you would have trouble with a forest rodent."
Taking his hand back, he stepped past her, making his way to a tree's trunk, and leaning his back against it. He took in the two girls, the pile of fish, the foliage. All things considered, this probably wasn't the worst day he'd ever had. His hands slid into his pockets, the one pressing a button on his player, which caused the music to silence itself. Closing his eyes, he slowly let himself all into a sit. He didn't realize it until now, but fishing through such means as he had, it left his rather drained. Things as they were, he found it difficult to remain on his feet, feeling rather light headed. A few minutes of rest, and he would be fine, but for the moment, he simply let the ambiance of the mountains filter through his padded headphones, sounding much like an ocean wind. _________________ The self proclaimed Harbinger of Change. For a moment Cielle couldn't help but hesitate in the request. Mei had provoked the squirrel, and Cielle still wasn't quite pleased about the event - squirrel's butt kicking aside - but at the same time whatever damage had been done to her was likely surface only, and not deep whatsoever. In fact, bruising would be easier to fix than holes in fish that likely have bacteria in them, and possibly tapeworms, plus the bite wound shouldn't be too terrible, though that would take a bit more work surely. So it was with one last glance to double check the sequence of hand signs, she stood and moved over towards the strange and clearly brain rattled girl.
"All right, just try not to move too much since you're the first. I'll start with the bruising, and then move on to your hand." It was fair warning, especially considering this was her first time working with a live person. Forming the hand signs in quick succession, she summoned a small portion of chakra into her hands as she placed them near the back of Mei's head, where the fall would've done the most damage. At first it was just plain awkward to her, pushing the chakra into Mei's skin and combining it in sorts. The act continued to feel strange as she began commanding the chakra, forcing it to speed up healing of the skin and force down the swelling so that there wouldn't be any marks left over. "There we go..." she said more to herself, pulling back a bit.
Increasing the flow into her hands, she took Mei's injured hand and held it...and stopped. Was that...green coming from her hand?! For a moment Cielle nearly lost her concentration to the shock of a strange color coming from the bite wound, and had to force it back down. Medic mode, had to stay in...medic mode, no matter how strange. Strange and bizarre injuries would arise over time, right? Plus, some people were just 'different', right? Right, so, she forced the chakra to enter the bite wound and pretended that it was NOT green, because the chakra wasn't indicating anything abnormal about it. Whatever it was, it wasn't affecting the body harmfully...and disturbingly enough, she could swear she felt much, much more inside of Mei through the chakra she was forcing to come into contact with it. This time it wasn't so much as forcing down swelling, as increasing the activity of the cells and knitting tissue back together with the chakra. Far stranger. All her concentration was spent towards forcing flesh to meet flesh again, and since it was a small wound, was done in under a minute. Now the only tell was a red mark where the bite had been, and that would likely go away within a day or two. With a sigh of relief, Cielle smiled, "There you go...although...is your blood always 'green'?"
The end of the question the smile had fallen a few degrees into wonderment, as well as the need to know if it was normal. If it wasn't then whatever that was needed to be treated quickly, as it was an unknown substance to her. In which case they would likely be making a trip back to Kumogakure, or rushing the girl off to her own village if she wasn't from Kumo. _________________ My plan:

Has my blood always been green? I suppose it has for as long as I have remembered at least. she said a little worried. Why does it bother you that is that color? I mean I DO have wings you know, so I thought you would not this as a surprise oh well little squirrel lover is nothing, but a little girly girl who gets surprised by unusual things. of course as she said this Mei didn't stop to realize that she was actually younger than Cielle, and even more of a pansy girl than she was, but this didn't stop her from throwing out the insults at Cielle as though she had gone through a major mood swing.
Glancing down Mei chuckled a bit before talking again. you know Cielle if you want, you can attempt to heal my body, after all it shouldn't be that hard, go on I dare you pull off a miracle, save the day, or you could practice on those fish, who knows you could play god, and bring them back to life. anything is possible right? Swiftly Mei looked up at Cielle directly in the eyes with her own that just appeared to have slits like that of a raptor, or hawk. Though muffled, he could still here the conversation between the girls. Had it really not occurred to Cielle that Mei wasn't quite human? As the girl suggested herself, the wings were a dead giveaway. Then again, there were a lot of strange people in this world, with vestigial body parts. Hideo had once read in a book, about a girl who was born with eight limbs. What were wings, compared to that. He remembered the first time he'd let that green blood. It was a day he'd almost rather forget. Mei was on a rampage, and nearly killed him. She claimed that she wouldn't, but when someone's emotions are on such an insane roller coaster, words don't mean much.
Come to think of it, she was beginning to act a lot now, like she was that day. His eyes snapped open, locking onto the chaotic girl. Slowly, he retracted his hand from its pocket, plunging it into the pouch on his thigh, digging out a single kunai. With a flick of his wrist, the knife shot toward her, skimming past her right ear, and stabbing into a tree. Normally, such a throw would not have been possible, with Hideo's level of fatigue. However, if one looked closely, they would notice a shimmering line coming from the back of the kunai, and stretching back to his finger, a Chakra thread.

'Hm...I wonder if its her time of the month too...' If it wasn't Cielle decided she'd attribute the girls' uncontrollable emotions to such, seeing as she couldn't stick one way or another. There were other myriads of reasons, sure, but considering her visible age it was very possibly that "time" to begin or other. She could get angry, she could get snippy, and sarcastic, and all sorts of normal reactions. Did she? Why bother? Nothing would be gained from it when she had other things on her mind and plate right now.
So instead she smiled at the girl, "You sure do expect a lot of me don't you? And you're right, I am nothing. Well, not much yet anyhow, but we can't all start high and mighty." She backed off from the girl, walking towards the fish as Hideo threw the kunai as a warning to the other girl. They had some connection, that much she could tell, so he was probably better to deal with her. "And it isn't so much as playing God, that I wish to do, but playing the healer, someone who may someday, if possible, be able to stave off death to save someone. Besides, the only miracle I have experienced is mother allowing me to finish becoming a ninja. For the most part though, I don't believe in them. There is chance, and there is ability. As my chance is only so-so, I'm working on my abilities."
In truth, she also had no desire to return these fish to the living...considering they weren't that close to water that she could chuck them back and send wishes for a long life. That would be silly, plus, as they were officially dead, that was what they would remain and if such existed, perhaps they would be reincarnated with more fortune.
For now, they were practice dummies.
So hunkering down, and keeping Mei to her side rather than her back, she pulled one towards her, examining its injuries. The fish had a gaping hole through and through, shredded through rather cleanly though, at the very least. Mentally she ran through the hand signs, double checking, and performed them, emitting chakra and pouring it into the hole of the fish, allowing it to connect and forced action amongst the deadened organs and tissue, forcing it to regenerate and mesh together once again. Rather than rush she let the process take its time, pretending that it was alive, so that this process wouldn't cause unnecessary trauma upon the victim. With the fish, she felt the healing process begin on the side facing the ground and working its way up to the other side she was touching, coming to close some odd minutes later. The scale reformation could use work, but overall not a bad attempt considering it was only the second time using this technique.
