Avis whipped her forehead Sai mewing on her shoulder "I know Sai its really hot here" Avis stopped and looked around A sea of sand and rocks met her eyes a harsh wind blowing across the sand. Avis walked over to a anomaly large rock and sat down in the shad of it "wow you know Sai I've never been out this far from the village" She looks up at the heat rising off the sand "I'm glade you're riding on my shoulders Sai you would burn your little feet" Avis smiled and chuckled at her own joke. Sai mewed and licked Avis's face her dry rough tong tickling her cheek "your thirsty I know but we don't have much water" Avis pulled a flask and small bowl out of her bag "not much ok?" Sai mewed and watched as Avis poured a little bit of water in to the bowl and held it up to her. Sai lapped up the water mewing happily Avis smiled and took a small drink 'I wander what you can do here?"

"We're not going the right way." Hiba purred. They had been walking for quite some time now, and it seemed like their journey would never end. "We don't actually HAVE a destination so how can we be going the wrong way?" Hya retorted. "Ok, so if you didn't have a destination and you we're walking straight into the gates of hell, would you not say that that is the wrong way?" Hibashira shot back, a little annoyed. "Because that's definitely the same situation...Actually...it could be judging by the heat." said Hya with a sigh, Hiba chuckled a little, breaking the tension that was just building between them. I hate the desert, I hate dry, and I hate not having a village... Hya thought to himself. Hibashira walked casually on top of the hot hot sand. "Hiba doesn't that hurt your feet at all? The ground is pretty hot." Hya said a little worried about his friend. Hibashira just stop and looked at Hya like he was a total idiot. He raised an eyebrow, "Seriously?" Hya facepalmed himself and started laughing, Hiba joined in too. They kept walking into the desert trying to find some sort of village or somewhere where they could rest. Finally Hya could make out a figure in the distance. They began to walk quicker over to the figure which became a girl and her cat, "HEY!" Hya called from a distance, "Maybe she knows where we are." He said to Hiba.

Avis turned at the sound of a mans voice "Sai do you see that?" Sai mewed and jumped in to Avis's lap her hackles raised eyes fixed. Avis bit her lip shivering in the shade who in their right mind would be walking around here? Avis smiled as she realized she was doing the same thing. Avis pulled her Flute out of her bag and started playing it softly closing her eyes and listening to the sweet sound raise around her. I love music, its so soothing Avis opened her eyes lowering the flute and stroking Sai's head. She waved at the man and a strange cat by his side, Sai hissed and growled as the drew closer.

Hya and Hiba walked casually over to the girl who had just waved. Hiba became a little uneasy and whispered to Hya, "All of a sudden I don't like this situation. Did we ever wonder why there was a girl in the middle of the desert?" Hya thought about it for only a split second then said back, "Did we ever wonder why WE are in the desert?" He chuckled a bit, Hiba didn't. He only gave his usual "good point hmph." Finally they were in talking distance of the girl, Hya spoke first, Hey! You wouldn't happen to know where we are or how to get out do you? We kinda got lost... His last sentence trailed off as he spun slowly in a circle, observing the endless desert that surrounded them.

You wouldn't happen to know where we are or how to get out do you? We kinda got lost? huh Avis smiled and nodded "I know where you are and how to get out but may I ask who you are?" Avis picked Sai up and held her to her Sai hissing at the other cat like thing next to the man. I wander what that thing is it looks like a cat but its not a normal one. "may I also ask what that little cat thing is next to you?" Avis smiled slightly kneading Sai's fur as a shiver went up her spine. She sighed and took a slip from the flask putting Sai down in her lap and letting her drink a little.

"Ha, sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Hyakurai Inabikari, but just call me Hya. it's easier." He said with a wave and a smile. He looked down at Hiba who was just looking at the other cat, "And this is my friend Hibashira." "Just call me Hiba. Nice to meet you" Hibashira started to lick his paws and ignored the hissing of the other car. "Hiba's my Emigre. Not really sure how to explain it simply" Hya continued, "All of my clan members have a companion like this, kind of like the Inuzuka Clan." "But better." Added boastfully. "So who might you be?" Hya asked

Avis whipped her forehead feeling sweat run down into her eyes "so everyone in your clan has a Emigre right? what kind of clan is it? if I may ask" the only reason I'm really even out here, is because I never have been but than again, many things can be found in the desert. She chuckled to herself as Sai licked her fingers "what Sai, you like the salt don't you?" Sai looked up at her mewing Avis smiled silly Sai

"Yeah from what i've seen everyone has one, although I don't know much else about it to be honest. All I know is that Hiba here has these different forms and has jutsus." Hya replied. Hiba wandered away a bit, scouting the area to see if there was anything besides sand and rocks. I don't like it here... Hiba thought. "So what's with the cat anyways?" He called back, still looking around. There was nothing. They were stranded in an ocean of sand. Hiba, being the more cautious one, watched the girls movements discretely. Why would someone come out to the middle of the desert if they knew were to go back? They had the excuse that they were lost.

Avis sighed and scratched Sai behind the ears "shes a part of my past, something I really don't want to talk about" Avis shifted and hugged Sai to her tightly her eyes stinging with held back tears. Sai mewed and licked her cheek "so, you guys wanted out of the desert right? If you want I can take you out of here. But I can only take you to one place and i don't know if they will be ok with that, I had a friend come to the village and she got run out." Avis looked down at that remembering the day Sai fell in to the fountain and she met Shizuka.

Part of her past? Hya wanted to ask, but respected her request and didn't bring it up. Hya was good at reading peoples' emotions and could tell something troubled her. As much as he wanted to help, he felt that asking her what was wrong would only make things worse. So he was glad when she changed the subject, "Uhh- yeah! Yes please that would be great. Hya replied. Hibashira got uneasy quickly, This keeps getting more suspicious. She's about to take us to a "place?" And why was her friend run out of the village? Hiba asked himself. Hya noticed Hiba's discomfort with trusting this person but didn't do anything about it. He didn't want to bring attention to it and make the girl uncomfortable. "Yes... If you could take us that would be very much appreciated." Hiba said with a smile.
