Sté entered the waiting room while being carried by one of the proctors. He would have to be taken into medical care before the announcements of who would become Chunnin would be disclosed. Sté had a headache but it wasn't too bad. The only area of his body that was in any real pain was his leg. His body had endured a lot and he was exhausted. The match ending when it did was probably the best thing for his physical and mental well being. The officials knew what they were doing when they stopped the match.

Disappointment would set in as Sté knew that he had lost the match. Why, why did I have to be placed in a match with that guy? I...I never stood a chance Sté thought back on all the fighting sequences that had taken place and how Tori always seemed to be a step ahead of him.

But, I was able to fight back, I was able to resist arrows, three powerful genjutsu techniques, fire style techniques, two ferocious cat summonings and still come out fighting. I was also able to adapt to my environment by using my knowledge of tree climbing and water walking in order to prevent sinking in the quicksand. Sté smiled to himself and he no longer felt like a loser, he held his own against someone who possessed a legendary, damn near omnipotent blood line trait. He was proud of himself and he also happy to have fought such a brilliant person.

Entering, Xenpai had stopped and rested outside of the arena he fought in to regain his energy. Coughing, he was covered in soot from the arena. "I'm glad I at least was able to get out of there with slight heat problems. Yet if it wasn't for that, I would've died..." He said moving into a corner of the building. The top of his Gi was opened, his headband was dirty and he only had little be of what held Iron Pillar before. He still had a red bandanna on, but on his back, no weapon nor a trace of it was seen. Coughing again, he huddled up there with a smile, though it seemed he cried, or was crying.

And just like that it was over. Tori wished that thinking in that manner would have been just as well carried out like a breeze. The truth was that Ste actually pushed him a little further than he had expected with him fighting a non-bloodline ninja. He was a uniquely built regular guy out to be strong enough to carry out whatever his desires may have been. Tori did not pry into his speaking from earlier when they were in the meeting area, and it was beneath him to do it once they were in battle. He just knew that his opponent named was Ste and he was a very powerful taijutsu and ijutsu user. He would definitely remember his style and possibly pick-up on it or find ways to better elude such a style. The attacks he used were of a different kind he had ever seen. They were not for direct strikes at certain body parts like the hyuuga, but they were focused around strength more than anything else as Ste demonstrated by hitting his kawarimied rock. Although Tori liked it, he was probably going to go with his idea of just finding a good defense to it other than his eyes. It did not match his style to be able to copy for himself.

The Uchiha followed the carried Ste in the hold of the proctor as they returned to where they began. As soon as the match was determined to be finished, the boy managed to turn off his Sharingan and release his summons back to where they came from. He thought about how he managed to use a lot of his arsenal of jutsu, and if he would not have induced so much pain psychologically to Ste, he may have been unable to finish him off like he did. He thought of his way of fighting as lacking something although he seemed to act very efficient with the jutsu he used. He made a last minute guess that if he was to use one more technique as strong as his last, he may have been in trouble from draining himself so much chakra. He hoped he at least showed enough to get a promotion. Ste and himself.

After entering the room, Tori walked over to where Ste was as spoke, “Good fight Ste.” He then rubbed his hand through his hair and allowed sand to go everywhere from his head. When he dived into the sand and from, being in the sandstorm, he was given a prize of sand that he did not need. He at least had practice of fighting in a sungakure terrain. He then stopped rubbing his head and waited for medical examiners to enter the room to check on the two combatants. Before he could even settle down from speaking, the door opened and a familiar face came in. It was the medical kid Nesuki Shiatamme dawning a fresh white arm bandage that pinned his left arm to his stomach to keep it from just dangling and applying pressure to his broken shoulder. Netsuke walked forward and immediately spoke, “Don’t ask. Neither of you.” Tori just looked with an urge to want to do exactly what he said not to do.

While resting and thinking about the battle and the techniques that were used, Sté thought and wondered if he was actually a match for Tori. Did he push him to his limits, even if he was clearly at a huge disadvantage? Sté would then think about Keto and Nesuki, were they ok? Sté couldn't help but to feel a little anxious when he thought of his friends. He looked on as Nesuki made his way into the room. It looked as if his arm or shoulder had been bent out of shape. Good Fight Sté. Sté had turned towards Tori and smiled while nodding. You too Tori, I am happy to have fought such a powerful and gifted opponent. Sté glanced over at Nesuki and could tell that he wasn't very pleased at all with his match. Sté wanted to speak with him but he decided to stay where he was and save the small talk for later.
