"there is a good blacksmith that can repair that broken sword or yours." I think back to what was going on with the village the war with the jin and everything that I have learned since i became a medical shinobi. " I know about the war "I said"that was a test of the kages for me i had to tell him what i knew" I said looking back at him wondering what he would say about this new twist of events.

Reiko said nothing as they walked until he mentioned a blacksmith that could replace his blade. He then sighed and stopped in the middle of the path. "I don't replace my swords. I reforge them. That's what a true sword user does. This blade is like a part of my soul, replacing it is almost impossible. You know what would help me out though? If you could get me some metals and coal. If you do that, I'd be grateful." He said really wanting to restore his own blade himself. He then dug into his side pocket pulled out a small scroll. He spoke the words on it and a small forging table appeared. When Takashi said he knew of the impending war, Reiko looked at him. "If you knew, why are you here?"

"That I can do"i said starting to head off to the village when he spoke again" Yea i know about the war but they are taking more experienced medical shinobi then myself"i said turning around to look at him "they are takeing the ones that i am learning from and sending them off to the front lines"i said with a bit of anger in my voice"I want to go to the front lines but i cant the kage wont let me leave the village and he sure as hell wont let me go"i said taking off to village.

I enter the village moving in and out of people when I reach the blacksmith.I told him what i needed and he was more then willing to fetch them for me."thank you"I said paying for the metals and the coal.I turn around waving my way in and out of the crowds again reaching the gates that lead out into the grass country border.i set down the materials that was needed "here you are"I said looking away as he did what he had to do.

Reiko looked on as the ninja disappeared to the village and then sighed. He looked to the sky and noticed that the day was coming to an end quickly. He would soon need a place to rest and calm down. and since he was a trespasser, that would be a difficult thing to do. He sighed as he took out the broken blade and place it on the small forging table. He then inspected the blade carefully and noticed how easily it was broken. He wasn't a good craftier but in his blood was the skill to do so. He sighed and a few moments later, Takashi returned and then Reiko smiled softly. He took the metals and began to set them aside in a small furnace that came with the table and began working on the blade. "Forging metal is like making a friend, you must understand that not every metal is the same but finding the perfect balance can lead to a life long companion." He said looking at Takashi differently, as if calling him.

"do you have anywhere to go?"I asked wondering where he was going to stay since the day was ending.I look back to him seeing and listening to what he was doing and saying. I began to look over at the horizon as the sun starts to set hearing the bangs and the clicks of Reiko reforging his blade."i can ask the Blacksmith to teach you how to become a better smith"i said looking at him"if you want you can stay with me at my families estate." i begin to head toward the village when he is done i start to hope that he will only come to the family estate within the village.
