seeing the open ground i wonder where sozan was to be safe forming the signs for body substitution. the ground erupted open below me with sozan risking everything to win this match even if it meant my death. He comes from the ground shoving a kunai into my chest when i disappear in a puff of smoke leaving only a log where i was with the kunai in it. switching my body placing myself into the tree that i was just behind. < i dont think he figured out that i can really only rely on my Taijutsu > i thought. sitting in the tree i look at the ground trying to figure out where he is< i feel the little bit of chakra left in me but i have the stamina to continue this fight > i thought catching my breath from the running around the arena.< i wonder how Harueko is doing in her match > i thought still looking waiting for sozan to show himself.< he must be in the ground >i thought getting my mind focused on the match and not my fellow suna comrade. Sozen felt his clone dissipate due to a momentary lapse of concentration. "Great..", he thought,"Now he knows my whole plan...well, time to form a new one.". He unearthed himself, immediately spotting Benjirou in a tree looking at him. Wiping some of the crumbling dirt off of himself, he slowly put his hands into his weapon pouch and drew two smoke bombs, enough to fill the area of trees his opponent was in. The trees were sparse, thin and low in number, so this might work. Sozen threw both the smoke bombs, covering both himself and Benjirou in a thick purple cloud that limited their vision to only a few feet in front of them. A split second later, from memory, Sozen threw a Shuriken and a Kunai at every tree branch that could support human weight, there were only about half a dozen, dude to the sparseness of the vegetation...and then he started his real plan.*

Description: A ninjutsu used to trap the opponent in the ground. The user must first get underground and directly below the target, after which they will pull the enemy into the ground so that only their head remains overground as they emerge on the surface. The collapsing ground will effectively block the victim's movement as they fall into the hole, so it will take them some time to escape, if they are able to on their own at all. This jutsu can be used to pull an opponent underground completely, but in that case a firm layer of earth or rock will not be created around the target's body and they will be able to escape much easier.

After the mist obscured Benjirou's vision, Sozen used Shinjuu Zanshu, intending for Benjirou to either be struck by the weapons he threw, and therefore die, or to abandon the trees and come back to the ground, in which case Sozen will sense the vibrations, and emerge right beside him, striking without warning and killing him.

with the smoke bombs going off i decided to create a few more clones while i dropped down with the clones all running into three different locations. one clone went to the left a bit north east of where the tree was. One clone went right out infront of the tree getting in line with me and the other clone while i took the right hand path all of us in the line. < if anything he would have to choose which one of us is the real one > i thought bringing all the clones within Sight of each other wondering which one he was going to go after first. A few seconds of nothing, then...the pitter patter of four seperate pairs of feet coming down off that tree..."Dammit, more clones...and this Jutsu can't be kept up much longer....I guess I'll just have to improvise.", Sozen thought, his breathing shallow from the constant drain on his Chakra Pool. With the minimum amount of work, he created three clones, sending each one out of the Earth a few feet beyond Benjirou and his clones, and therefore out of their vision in the smoke. "Henge no Jutsu", he whispered as they erupted from their shallow graves. With his breathing becoming more strained from keeping up the Jutsu, he felt the leech of his energy sharply, as each of his clones transformed into an exact copy of Benjirou. Sozen was fading fast, he was only a Genin, and one of the weakest Ninja in the world...his stamina was large for his age and position, but this was a real fight...one he knew he would have to shorten if he hoped to win. "I really, really hope this works.", he said quietly to himself. At his mental command, his clones rushed towards his enemy, three Benjirous to fight three Benjirous...not so much attacking as integrating themselves with the clones and Benjirou himself, making it difficult if not impossible to tell them apart from his own clones. with the clones of mine and then three more came out of the ground and faced his clones aswell as sozens < interesting> i thought coming up to a split second plan. I turned with my two clones heading into the smoke from the bomb. I made sure that i was able to hit one clone with a kick only for it to disapate< i know what i am planing to do but i need my clones gone > in the smoke cover from the bomb i send off my clones and use Henge no Jutsu useing the last of my chakra to maintain it so i can look like Sozen. Sozen felt his clones dissipate, one by one, the energy needed to maintain them was cut off as they burst back into a cloud of nothingness. "Well apparently that didn't slow him down at all.", he thought to himself bitterly. Sozen was wary about leaving the protection of the ground...as he knew without a doubt as soon as he left, he wouldn't have the chakra to use the Shinjuu Zanshu again. But his options were limited, too limited to remain hiding...Sozen knew he had only one last plan* to resort too...and there was no use waiting until he was too exhausted to even pull that off. "Here goes nothing!!", he said to himself, and with that utterance he burst out of the ground towards the vibrations that had remained still, and had not run off. Kunai drawn, Sozen cried out and stabbed for Benjirou's leg, real or not...with the reckless abandon of someone who had run out of options, content to let fate make their decision for them.

Sozen kept a clone hiding underground, a constant drain on his almost depleted Chakra Pool, but his only chance to eliminate the clone Benjirous and find the real one. Once the real Benjirou launches an attack, Sozen can have his clone come up from the ground and Kawamari in his place...using up the last of his chakra, but allowing him a final strike against the definitely real Benjirou.

I stand there with my jutsu using the last of my chakra as i stand there ready to attack sozen real or not. I dont have enough chakra to use anything of the only jutsu that i know not even a clone.the ground erupted again with sozen coming up kunai drawn comeing for my leg. Sozen felt the kick, very real, across his face, sending him staggering backwards without landing a hit. "Yeah, it's definitely him...well, here goes.", he thought to himself, making handsigns as he whispered, "Kawamari no Jutsu". There was no visible difference to Benjirou, only Sozen could tell that he switched himself with the clone he had left hiding in the ground, and, using the last of his chakra, the real Sozen's arms erupted, fast as lightning, beneath of Benjirou, intending to drag him into the depths of the earth as Sozen jumped out, leaving only his head above ground, his body trapped in a rock prison provided by the Earth itself. Meanwhile, Sozen's clone raced towards Benjirou, intending to provide support if this last and final plan failed. feeling the ground shake and burst open i back flip out of the way. i land only a few feet away from where i was standing before darting off toward his clone sending a kick across the face of the clone turning around only to finish this match with the real sozen "you have given me a chance to test myself in this match it has been a pleasure to fight you but now its time we finish this winner takes all"i said getting back into my stance expecting anything from Sozen. This battle has been fun but i have to win by any means i can. I looked at Sozen "so what do you say Sozen?"i asked trying to read his moves so i know what he is going to do yet his body is hard for me to read. I stand there looking up toward the sky only to feel like my fellow suna shinobi has won but i wasnt sure yet when i look back down i dart off with my full speed coming into hand to hand combat range"I'm not holding back no more"i said throwing my left first combined with a kick toward his gut with the fist going to his face while i bring my other leg around and goes to kick sozen again to send him back in nothing but broken bones and bruises
