OOC: This Match is between Vatu Kagi V. Tori Uchiha. Battle will begin when topic is unlocked. Note that it is sunny, clear skies and humid. The coliseum in width is about 100 meters wide, and from hieght is about 60 meters high. The coliseum is beige colored, and the ground is full of grass and there are a few trees on the outskirts of the arena. There are also many types of insects including spiders and catapillers, and other like insects. The Coliseum itself is packed with full of regular ninja and warlords betting on these types of matches. _________________ Thanks Doll Your a keeper. "The time is now," thought Tori Uchiha as he made his way into the magnificent coliseum battleground of which an even more glorious tournament was to take place. Fights of great magnitude was scheduled and from the very moment of which he came into the building, he had spotted the gamblers all around wanting to make a little side change outside of their regular duties that evidently did not pay them enough. Or perhaps they were just filled with greed in a time that was so ready to make them rich as all they had to do was place the money on the table and hope that they placed their money on the right shinobi or kunoichi. Their faces were the first thing he noticed upon entering the vast arena grounds. Looking up about fifty to sixty meters of beige wall, the hackling fighters enjoyed themselves heartily to what was to come next.
Tori’s opponent hadn’t arrived yet so before he journeyed across the plains to the middle for recognition, he placed his hand upon the cool stone beside the door and walked slowly around while rubbing across for about five feet. The stone was still easy to touch even with the sun shining brightly upon its surface and forcing the immovable object to bask in its glory. He brought his hands together and patted them with each other to remove the dust that gathered on his tips as he finally headed for the center. He looked to the outskirts for healthy trees to cross his line of sight. He treaded across the ground upon decently cut grass that was not to be much of a factor in the fight. It was possible to be running across it and ending the run with a face plant. The grass was full of water that easily broke out of its structure and could make anything slippery with its low amount.
While walking to his starting location Tori thought, "All these people here for me or him. Hmm… The area is well balanced, but it has no water supply. I don’t use any water techniques, but… It would have provided a decent hiding spot in moments of distress.” Finally the young Uchiha arrived center field and the crowd stayed the same. Little was known about him to make a fuss. And his clan was to righteous to be boasting chants of glory. It was outside of their character and would not mold well with their arrogance. He knew that if any Uchiha were present they were probably thinking, “Why do they have him in these battles. I could take him.” The simple thought made Tori ready to leave and do something else, but it was too late and he knew that if someone was picked to fight against in this tournament, they would be very interesting. _________________

Ryo unnoticedly pushed through the oncoming crowd, walking to the coliseum. He was drenched with water, not from the air, or water from a source, but from his own sweat. He pulled out a small gourd of water and took a drink, wiping the water from his mouth with the back of his hand. He had no idea why he was even in this fight, he was at a major disadvantage, not because of the different area, but because whenever Ryo was outside of the village, he'd have to carry large amounts of water to sustain himself. He held the cold gourd in his hands feeling the condensation on the thick unbreakable glass. He yawned once, seeing the massive coliseum in the distance.
As Ryo came onto the coliseum, he saw gamblers eyeing him as he walked through, they knew he was the one to fight in this battle and he knew that they all expected him to lose. From what he could gather from the whispering and chattering around him, he was to fight one of the famed Uchiha clan. He chuckled to himself, thinking, Why is it people see these people as nearly gods? He merely shook his head, then slid his hands into his pockets calmly. He knew without a doubt that the gamblers were not betting on him, who would bet on a random kid from the Kiri? Ryo intended to prove the gamblers and the whole village wrong.
As Ryo finally reached the Coliseum, he put his hand on a door, opening it with much ease to a long hallway with a light from an outside source, namely, the sun, glowed though. He walked through the hallway, thinking with every step. He had never fought an Uchiha, but he knew that it wasn't about cheap abilities such as the sharingan or gimmicks. He knew it was all about the fighter, which is why Ryo brought no weapons other than Mizukami and a length of wire, he knew what he would need to do. He walked to the end of the hallway, shielding his eyes at first, then stepped into the light, looking at a massive crowd that roared in the stands, then the boy that seemed to be his challenger. He walked over to a tree, looking around and gathering info about every nook and cranny in the environment. He saw the suns position, the dew on the ground, the height of the grass, every rocks positions, etc. He walked over to the young Uchiha, hoping he wasn't one of the "I think I'm better than you" types. The sun was definitely at its peak in this coliseum located in Konohagakure. It glared down from the sky and through clouds of pure white snow, though the gleam was unaffected and made the clouds be exactly what they were, clouds. His eyes could only look forward without squint as they wandered through the canyon of a hallway and spotted his opponent making his march towards the battlegrounds. He could not see him with much clarity from the distance, even while having eyes of perfection, but that was because he did not have his Sharingan activated. His standard eyes were dressed in black but still perfect enough to past any regular medical ninja’s test for sight as he could see the boy in shadows.
As the guy finally left the hallways and came into the light, Tori dressed him up. He was a typical shinobi so nothing could be really derived from his appearance. He could not downgrade the guy because it was not the way he thought about his opponents. He could not make him seem superior to himself because he knew nothing about him. He really did not get a chance to make a thought worth holding on to until he saw the guy do the same thing that he did when he first entered the arena. It was appropriate for a person to know of their surroundings before they knew about their opponent because even if they knew nothing about their opponent, they would still know the advantages and disadvantages of where they were when placed in foreign land. Even if his opponent did not have the same idea for approaching the obstacles placed in their path, he knew it was something close to it circling his mind.
Finally the time had come for the two shinobi to be able to see each other face to face. The guy walked steady with pride in his posture. It was amazing to see a person come up to him with such hope and no sign of fear. The words Tori used to describe the boy’s character may have seemed a little far fetched, but they were the only words he could think of in the moment it took the boy to cover ground between them from about twenty feet out to arm length as he held his hand out for a handshake. He looked at the boys hand and seen no tremble. No immense build-up of sweat surrounded his wrists To Tori‘s surprise, the guy was actually not intimidated by the name.
Tori smiled and spoke as he reached out and firmly gripped the boys hand and spoke, “This is going to be too interesting.” He followed with a slight smile that was more of a smirk and released the boy’s hand. Time allowed the boy to reply as an intercom voice struck the coliseum and spoke, “This bout is scheduled to end when it ends. This means that it can be over by knock-out, death, or interference by a judge. If both competitors are ready. You may begin.” Tori’s smile suddenly left his face as his left hand swiftly swiped to and through his pouch as it seemed like a single hand motion for him to just reach in and grab a weapon of choice. Anything that was located within his pouch would have easily sufficed for this small distraction to cover land and more prepare him for the bout. With his swiping one motion, his hand lead upwards and released is kunai to the boy while his feet hopped him backwards with a dash. The kunai aimed for his abdomen in order to make him deflect it, or move his entire body to waste some amount of time.
While his left hand was motioning for attack, his right hand was motioning for his lips to defend and support moves that were to come. His lips attuned to a song to be played with a delicate whistle. First glance would make it look like he puckered lips and were blowing a kiss at another man, but once the sound would develop from his lips, many would notice the what he was really doing, but still be quite bewildered because the technique had never been used before. Utilizing his Irikuchi Kei Eregansu, the song he played would be a song unlike any other to initiate a Genjutsu. It was similar to a flute playing, but still carried its accent that was not irregular to the mouth. His tune was simple Kanashibari Music. If his opponent fell to this, he would fall for the remainder of the match, though Tori gave little options to give him the chance to escape the paralysis enabling genjutsu. It was sudden, and without knowledge of his way of enabling the jutsu, the boy would prove that Tori was right from his words if he derived a way to get out of this predicament. _________________

Ryo looked up at the sky, then to the boy as they shook hands smiling. He noticed how the boys grip was firm and sure as if he knew that the battle ahead would be quite interesting. Ryo looked up to see a single cloud over head, one that would have clearly been unnoticed. Ryo let go of the boys hand calmly, sliding his hands into his pocket, gathering chakra. In a few seconds, he would make the area perfect. Ryo felt as if he had just made a rival, with an Uchiha at that. He chuckled at the thought and heard a couple people in the stands making loud boos at them shaking hands, mainly from Uchiha who felt themselves better than him. Ryo simply shrugged them off, just trying to survive. Winning wasn't as big a deal to him, but he wanted to show that this 'Sharingan' is no big deal, that it is surpassable by normal means.
Ryo heard the boy mumble to himself about the fighting being interesting and Ryo simpl nodded his head, grunting in agreement. Just as he was about to open his mouth and speak, the intercom came on, stating that the contestants may begin when ready. Ryo wasn't ready, but guessing from having kunai thrown to his stomach, it was either get ready, or get stabbed. He yanked Mizukami upward, slicing one kunai a bit, making it fall to the ground with a gash down the middle. As the other couple kunai came to him, he sent his body to the side, dodging them. He saw as the boy began positioning his mouth, obviously going to attempt to make a noise. Just as this happened, Ryo released his stored chakra into the area around him, making a cloud that once released, shot into the sky. This worked with the other cloud, not only to block the sun to an extent, but create forcefull raining that would block out most normal unless yelled.
The downpour came upon both of them and Ryo felt his body replenished as the loud roaring rain came down. Ryo yelled to the boy through the rain, Hey! Can we attempt a battle using only taijutsu and weapons? I'd like to see how the sharingan fairs against me and Mizukami. Ryo hoped he would get to have a fair battle with blade on blade swordplay, rather than resorting to ninjutsu and genjutsu. He would be able to protect himself, but he was interested in how the sharingan was able to, in a way, predecide a enemys moves.
The crowd looked upon the combatants in awe as the rain poured down. Many older women and older men pulled out umberellas, shielding themselves from the downpour. Ryo looked into the crowds, hoping to find something that might help, or atleast a pretty girl to stare at for a few seconds, maybe a Hyuuga. He chuckled at the thought, feeling the water drip down his body on his face.

Very useful in dry places. Cannot be used indoors. The incoming rain cannot be altered in anyway from the normal rain it is.

While he did what he thought was an incredible way to start the bout, his opponent strategically launched a technique to equal his. This was not a matter of having to wonder or think, “How did he know?” This was a matter of intuition to respond to what his opponent did. Tori was too impressed because as soon as his illusion was released through his special ability to make music with his mouth, it had no chance of taking an effect and enabling Vatu to become immobilized as he immediately started the battle with a ninjutsu technique. Tori had heard of this technique before, but he had never had the chance to have it tested on him, with a torrent of rain within a single cloud in the air, sound was neutralized momentarily so his whistle was too void to capture his prey.
As the heavy rain began to rain down, Tori stopped continued to go backwards away from his opponent while his mind raced within thought. His exact deliberation was, “Just as could be expected. This guy had to get water in this arena some way seeing as he is a Kirigakure ninja. I might be forced to use my Sharingan, but only time would tell… Hmm… Forget it, he might not enjoy a win here if he did not go against me at my best. I see much respect in this guy. So, I have to figure out a way to not allow such a response to my jutsu show up so quickly. I…” His reflection of many thoughts stopped as his next move was done. Masked behind the rain and what would be an instant of time, Tori’s eyes illuminated with the thirst of Uchiha pride. He considered it a thirst because so many wanted it but not many would have been able to achieve it. Especially one that was as potent as his with three tomoe being present all the time until he got that one of rumor.
From now on, everything was going to be run at Tori’s pace as with the thick rain he did not have to actually see Vatu physically with his enhanced eyes through the rain, although he did. What Tori was going to really be focusing on, was the pure radiance that possibly no other person in the stadium seen. He was going to be focusing on his chakra as he placed his hands together and disappeared in a simple flicker known as Shunshin no jutsu. With his incredible build of speed, he expected not to be seen, but it would not matter as his next move was going to come just like the last and hopefully just as fast. He reappeared behind one of the trees that were still pretty far behind him, but he arrived at it with little effort because of his jutsu. Upon arriving, he did not have to stop and prepare to hide because his eyes calculated a great angle to place his body to not be seen with his opponent’s eyesight and the thick tree in front of himself.
From behind the tree, Tori hurriedly reached with his right hand into a scroll pouch on his left chest and slipped out a seal scroll that unwrapped with ease and was protected from the rain by the enormous tree, and anything else would have been too futile to erase his seal on the scroll. He uncoiled it like an expert as he threw it out before himself like it was a mirror and focused his palm to hit the scroll and unseal it to have him now with his weapon of choice. He was now equipped with an elegant Daikyou Bow and a quiver that sat across his left shoulder. He gripped the bow and looked up to the tree and thought, “Don’t show that you just got lucky with that last move. Vatu.” He dived from behind the tree and with what seemingly could look like a single arrow in his bow, but when he allowed his string to punch forward with force, it would spike the arrow into play along with two other arrows in a vertical line. He specifically aimed one arrow for Vatu’s chest, one for his left leg, and a third for his chest as well. This was where his eyes would easily trap him with knowledge because of his next move was going to be just too great. The rain would trickle across his body, but he had his sight would not be detered.

While midair, Tori traced his arrows with his eyes. He was also tracing Vatu’s body to see any flinch in body movement as he would use the jutsu Guided Arrow to arc his shot for the left leg to still hit if Vatu was not fast enough.

OOC:This spoiler is a summary of my moves to avoid confusion and have people posting what I did not write I don't wan't miscommunication in a RP. It makes it lose flow. I realized that in alot off writing, some things can be misinterpretted.

Name: Sharingan
Requirements: 3-point kinjutsu training for each stage
Description: Sharingan is the bloodline limit doujutsu of the Uchiha clan. It possesses several powerful abilities, though it is developed through three stages. When just awakened, it is in Stage 1, with only one tomoe located above the pupil; in Stage 2, another tomoe appears, and they are now located to the left and right of the pupil; all three tomoe appear in Stage 3, and they are located in a triangle shape around the pupil: one directly above and the other two to the bottom left and right. The Sharingan is activated by sending some chakra into the eyes. It does not cost much, but only a true Uchiha can have it activated for prolonged periods of time without risking their health.
Stage 1: The initial stage of the awakened Sharingan, it only gives the clan members some basic abilities. Among these is the ability to see movement somewhat faster than what they would normally be able to and to detect chakra. This allows them to react better and gives them higher accuracy than most. Thanks to the chakra detection ability, many camouflage techniques are rendered ineffective. This stage also allows them to see clearer than normal.
Stage 2: The second stage of the Sharingan allows those who possess it to see everything with even better clarity, including objects that would normally fall out of sight because of their speed. This allows them to dodge and attack as if their taijutsu skills were one step higher. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank B or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique.
Stage 3: The third and final stage of the Sharingan opens even more possibilities for the clan members. Their vision of moving objects improves further. Their ability to see chakra and movement allows them to memorize the techniques used by their enemies and copy them, one of the abilities the clan is highly famous for. Additionally, visual genjutsu of rank A or lower can be dispelled instantly, without any chakra cost or a need for a special technique.

Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance. While it may seem like the user simply appeared or disappeared, the technique is actually a momentary increase in movement speed towards a set location.

Ryo looked up at the sky as the rain began pouring down, he decided he would play the fool in all of this, saying aloud as if no one was around, Now where did all of this rain come from, it seemed like such a happy sunny day. He shrugged his shoulders and pulled out an umberella, blocking the rain above his head. He walked around the ring using Mizukami in a way similar to a walking stick and noticed the peopel in the crowds, watching hias if he were some show. In a way, he was a show, but the way he felt all of their eyes, made him feel like a monster. In the crowd he saw one girl, a Hyuuga, and winked at her, making her blush a little and step back. Ryo laughed a little and spun his umberella in the rain.
Ryo thought to himself as he saw Tori begin his motions. He saw a glint of red around where the eyes would be and Ryo knew it would be time to unleash his own special ability. In reality, there was no way this Uchiha would even be able to touch him, with taijutsu or any sort of weapon, but there was always the possibility that he had a Raiton element. However, Uchiha were known for their Katon element, putting his little worries to bed. Ryo gathered chakra around his body, making sure he would be able to pull off his move with ease. Just as he saw the red glint, it was gone in a blur and Ryo felt the movement rush around him to a nearby tree. Ryo simply, like always, played the fool, pretending not to care about what the boy did. He saw the boy knock a few arrows from the tree, then launch the arrows at Ryo, making him smile.
As the arrows flew through the air, Ryo activated his special ability, turning his body into water for a split second for the arrows to pass through to the other side. To people in the crowd, it looked like he was hit. The gamblers all hooted in joy, knowing it would be a quick battle, but to those who were smart, they could see that the arrows not only passed into Ryo but went into the other side, not even making blood. Ryo felt as the arrows passed through, using up some of his chakra. He pretended to not even know that something had passed through him, smiling under his umberella. He watched as the crowd cheered, thinking the battle was over. Ryo hand sealed, putting his hands downward and gathering water into his hands. The water formed into a whip and he spun it around quickly, making a whooshing sound at first, then making a much faster sound as he spun it.
Tossed his umberella upward, handsealing with much speed, then using a trick to use Mizubunshin rather than making senbon rain down like many would have thought. They both dashed under the umberella, seeign as the crowd did not even notice the two of them moving. They both lashed their whips at Tori, hoping to get both legs simultaneously.
