The day had only just begun and already his household was buzzing. The sounds of cows and chickens making their natural noises made the small Uchiha look out the window of his room and curse that the lived so close to the barn animals. He stood up slowly and dressed himself and grabbed a large sickle from the corner and placed it in a shoulder strap on his back. He walked out his room, which was in fact a small apartment just with it's own roof and outside and began his daily duties of cutting the grass, feeding the animals and then tending to them. He sighed as the day finally reach midday by the time he had finished. He had worked too fast. A problem he had been much to accustomed to. He sighed as he walked up a long road of the farm to a solitary tree with a swing that would seat 3 people. He sat on it and began swinging, watching the open plains silently. This was what he did in his free time.

Tsubasa awoke from his bed, a tree branch. He never really spent much time at home anymore since his brother's disappearance, and his parents never really worried about him all that much. So instead he would roam the Fire country, hoping to find some clue as to what happened to his brother. He let out a long and silent yawn and stretched is arms way over his head. He had slept on the highest branch, so he needed to climb down many branches to get to the floor. As he came closer to the floor, he noticed the creaking sound of rope on wood. He looked down to notice someone swinging on branch below him. From a few branches up he called down to the person, Hey He said awkwardly yet friendly. How're you?

Arekkusu looked up in the tree and looked at the man whose voice echoed down to him. His eyes glanced back out over the plains and then he took a slight breath. "I'm fine." He said as if he were closing his emotions from discovery. He then looked back up at the ninja and raised a brow. "I've come to this tree everyday for 3 years and never recall meeting anyone up there. It's odd that someone is there now. Maybe you can tell me who you are, stranger?" He asked politely. Despite being an Uchiha it would be difficult to tell since he didn't imbue the normal traits of an Uchiha. In fact, he seemed quite docile compare to most of his clan. And he surely used a weapon, unlike the master of jutsus his family is.

Tsabasa made his way to the lowest branch and took a seat. "Heh, sorry. I'm Tsubasa. I didn't mean to trespass, I was just passing through and slept here for the night. He said, putting his hand behind his head. He felt comfortable talking this guy, he didn't push Tsubasa away like most of the people he met. Most of the people he surprised like this were usually pissed off. And what's your name? He said with a smile. He tried to keep the conversation off of him, maybe then the man wouldn't focus on Tsubasa still being there and could stay as long as he needed.

Arekkusu looked as the man came closer and then looked back out over the plains and watched as the grain blew in the wind softly. As they did, small leaflets of the tree began to blow and the Uchiha looked back at the young man and spoke. "Arekkusu." He said as he looked back out over the plains. It had been a long time since he associated with people outside of his home here in the plains but he wasn't foreign to it. But he still felt awkward speaking to the man. He instead swallowed his fears and then looked at the man once more. "It's not trespassing. The land beyond here belongs to no one. No one wants it because the land can't support any more life then what you see. Anything else tries to grow here and it dies. This tree is called the Drained Tree because it drains from everything to keep alive." The young ninja said.

Tsubasa watched as the small leafs glide through the air until Arekkusu told him his name. In looked back in time to make eye contact with him. He diverted his gaze away from him and look out at the plains to see if Arekkusu was actually looking at anything. However, there was nothing there, but it was a calming sight to see. The breeze gently blew through his hair, slightly moving it around. Tsubasa ran his fingers through his hair to get it out of his face. After Arekkusu spoke about the Draining Tree, Tsubasa calmly got down and took a step away from the tree. He put his hands in his pocket and tried not to look uncomfortable. Drains everything huh...? Why don't they just cut it down? He asked.

"The swing." Arekkusu said as he swung on the swing he was one. It was indeed odd that if th tree were capable of doing what the boy said it should be destroyed but the swing too was out of place. "This tree is considered the harbinger of death to all life in this part of the plains. But the swing here was built from the bark of the tree. It peels it's bark off every 4 years to feel the ground nutrients to invite life back. But people end up stealing it for their own purposes. The swing is here as a timer. When the rope is strained and no longer moves, the tree is ready to peel." He said as he looked at the man oddly. "Do I bother you in some form?" He asked as politely as possible. He could see the ninja was disturbed and wanted to be sure it wasn't him.

Tsubasa listen to Arekkusu's story with the utmost curiosity. He had never heard of an organism like this and it fascinated him fully. He looked up and down the tree studying it. Weird He thought, the tree kind of scared him. Plus the fact that he had just slept on 'the Harbringer of Death' didn't exactly help. Tsubasa sat down facing the open plains. His heads were behind him, his legs straight out in front and he continued to here Arekkusu description of the tree. "Do I bother you in some form?" The questioned took Tsubasa by surprise, "What? uh no, not at all. Why do you ask? Tsubasa hoped he didn't do something to make the man feel uncomfortable

Arekkusu looked at the ninja and then back to plains. "You barely make eye contact when you speak. When you came down off the tree you distanced yourself from me. And your voice seems to shake sometimes. Generally when a person acts in that manner, they are disturbed or uncomfortable. As you're not disturbed, logically you're uncomfortable. And since I'm the only one here for miles so to speak, I would be the cause of that." He said in a way that would make sense to most people. But he felt that he pushed the matter to far and then swung on the tree. "I'm sorry for pestering you. Just get lonely out here sometimes. Wasn't expecting to meet anyone out here to be honest. Kinda nice to talk to someone other then look out the plains." He said with a small smile.

Tsubasa listened to Arekkusu listen off the reasons why he thought Tsubasa was uncomfortable. "Heh, I think you got it all wrong. I only moved away because I didn't you to think I was intruding on your space. And my voice was shaking since I just slept on the death tree and for all I know I could die in the next three seconds" He joked, laughing at his own joke. "I don't mean to sound uncomfortable. I mean, if i were really that disturbed, i would be gone by now." He said smiling. Tsubasa went serious after Arekkusu said he got lonely. A tear almost welled up in his eye. Yeah...I know what you mean about the loneliness part
