The boat floated gently towards its destination, the second island. Mashimizu had been ready for anything Tai had come up with but this was just aggravating. The island came into view finally, it was sandy and dry from what he could see. When the boat docked Mashimizu jumped off and scoped out the terrain to prepare him for what was to come. Sand...lots and lots of sand. He thought. It was unfortunate but he would deal for now. He spotted a cactus plant and kicked it to uproot it. The pathetic plant flew in the air and landed a few feet away, I hate cactus He thought. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed another boat coming this way. I starred it down as it approached. Mashimizu did not show any signs of happiness, no signs of excitement. The seriousness displayed on his face would surprise anyone who knew him. He disconnected all feelings of friendship he had with Ryo, he wouldn't need them to hold him back. When the boat was close enough Mashimizu yelled out, "Good luck Ryo. Don't hold back." Mashimizu knew he wouldn't have to tell him that, this was going to be an all or nothing fight. But Ryo wasn't aware of Mashimizu's secret... _________________
As the boat came to the shore, it was quite noticeable that no one was in it. It was just an empty boat, flowing with the current of the water. Ryo appeared in a flurry of droplets next to the boat with one hand on his blade in which the flat was against his shoulder. He looked at Mashimizu and smiled, saying, So, hopefully all that self esteem I wanted you to get has finally made its appearance. Mizukami was speakign for him and Ryo was just translating the words. Ryo unsheathed the blade, making the water behind him create a small wave as if he had just recently awakened a massive monster beneath the sea. Ryo stabbed the blade into the ground and held one hand on the butt of the hilt with his other in his pocket, saying, Let's begin then, shall we...... The sun flowed over him making his damp hair glisten in the sunlight. Description:Chakra is "bounced" between the hands of its user causing a sudden flash of bright light. This does no physical damage to a ninja who is it with it.The ninja who uses it is not blinded becauses the light always flashes outward. Any ninja behind the user is safe. Any ninja in front, up to 20feet, of the user is temporarly blind(10-12 seconds).If used multiple times,this jutsu can cause retina burns which are easily fixed by eyedrops. This can also be used as a rescue beacon if nessacery.
Mashimizu took out a kunai calmly and place the handle in his mouth and held it with his teeth. He put his hands up in front of him about a foot apart, palms facing each other. He said in a mumbled voice, "Yeah, lets." He smiled with the kunai still in his mouth. He was glad he had learned about these jutsus right before the exam. But it would be risky since this was the first time he had actually done them. With his hands in the same position, he calmly approached Ryo until he was about fifteen feet away. As he walked forward he channeled chakra throw one hand to another. When he was finally close enough, he channeled the chakra rapidly until finally a burst of light flashed out from his hands. Almost immediately afterwards he grabbed the kunai and darted and Ryo. As he did this, he did a few hand seals and a clone appeared right next to him. The two charged at Ryo and awaited his next move.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
Ryo saw the flash and was blinded for a few seconds. He needed to think quickly and thought to go straight for Suika. His body turned into liquid to dodge any physical attacks that might come. As his eyes adjusted to the light, he saw tw of Mashimizu rushing at him. He walked to the water, falling into it easily, being made of water helped. As he was in the water, he solidified himself and looked up through the water. He saw his underwear and swam upwards, grabbing them and putting them back on. He said to Mashimizu, Nice cheap little trick.... He climbed up on top of the water and walked above it, hand sealing with ease. He used a shunshin to disappear as a wave came crashing down behind him. He reappeared over next to his clothes and picked up his pants and Mizukami. He unsheathed him and Mizukami said, Stop messing around and fight Ryo. Ryo chuckled and then dashed at Mashimizu, the one he thought was real. Reason: Walking to the water after being blinded and with Mashimizu running at you? >.> I don't think you would of made it more than a couple steps before you would of been stabbed by the kunai. Yes, I know it wouldn't of hurt due to Suika but, it would of made you use chakra and you would of had to respond or else be attacked repeatily for not defending yourself. Also, put what jutsu and/or SA in a spoiler under your post.

The attack missed and Mashimizu halted as he saw Ryo become water. Mashimizu laughed as he pulled himself up. He tried to keep it as quite as possible but this was getting a lot better than he hoped. He wasn't trying to be an asshole, it was just that things were working out in his favor. He would need to rely on the fact that Ryo could turn himself into water. Mashimizu waited until Ryo put his clothes back on. It would be a totally rude to attack someone half naked. "Thanks" Mashimizu laughed at Ryo's remark. It was a cheap trick, but he didn't care, he would do what ever it took to win this thing. The two Mashimizus stood still in a fighting position and waited for Ryo. "Haha! Aren't you glad I taught you water walking?" He joked. Then, Ryo charged at him with the sword. He closed in on Mashimizu and slashed at him with his sword. Shit he picked the right one! He thought. Before the slash, Mashimizu made a few quick hand seals. As the sword penetrated deeped into him, his body was replaced by the cactus he had uprooted a while back. Meanwhile, as Ryo started his swing, the clone ran to Ryo, jumped up, and attempted to jump kick him in the face.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique
Type: Ninjutsu

Requirements: None
Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.
Ryo watched as he slammed into the real Mashimizu and he replaced himself with a cactus. The clone came and sent his foot to Ryos face but poofed on contact, not really putting any fear into Ryo. Ryo scanned the area, looking for Mashimizu. As he looked around he forced chakra into his blade, making it drip water. The water dripped onto the floor slowly, dampening the ground and the sand around. He thought to himself, One good slash and he's out..... Of course there was still the issue at hand that included actually finding the boy. Mashimizu walked into Ryo's view and headed for the water. He drew water from the surrounding ocean and formed it into a whip. By forcing extra chakra into it, Mashimizu lengthened it to about ten feet. He turned to face Ryo and was about to attack when he heard an annoucement from an intercom. He stopped and listened with the utmost confusion. "Is he serious?" A rhetorical question. Whatever... He kept his legs together and tried hopping around. It was harder to do since it was pretty sandy. Mashimizu thought that this might be easier than he thought. After all, he did have the range advantage now. He hopped towards Ryo until he was a few feet away. He then sent his whip flying towards Ryo's leg.

Name: Suiton: Mizu no Muchi - Whip of Water
Type: Ninjutsu

Requirements: None
Description: This ninjutsu technique creates a whip made of water which functions just like a normal whip would. Once created, it takes a little additional chakra to adjust its length, but it can't be longer than fifteen and shorter than three feet long. While useful with the right skill, this technique may be easier to defeat than an actual whip.
