Riku stepped off the boat and onto the island cleverly named "Island 1." He walked around slightly, looking at the landscape. As the Shinobi had said, trees, bush, and a pond were all that were on the small island. The Island had to be no larger than 50 square feet. Damn, the small dungeon Nobunaga Tensei showed him was larger! He turned as his brother stepped on the Island behind him. "You know, I always thought we would work together and hunt down Hikaru. I never thought we'd be forced to face eachother." He said to Kuroda, observing a tree and playing with one of the leaves. Without taking his hand off the tree or moving at all, he turned his eyes towards his brother and a dark feeling eminated from his eyes. Kuroda got off of the boat and set foot on the Island which had been simply named,"Island 1."After listening to Riku's thoughts on the situation he chuckled and said,"Of course not." Kuroda immediately ran for the nearest form of cover and analyzed the scenario. "The island doesn't look to be that big and only has a pond with a bunch of trees in the vicinity. If it wasn't for all the trees I'd be in much more trouble than I am now." Kuroda leaned around the tree to get a good look at Riku so he could form his strategy more efficiently. Riku had his weapon grafted to him already, this would raise a few problems for Kuroda. However, it still didn't allow Riku to see everywhere at once. This would probably be Kuroda's greatest strength. _________________

Riku watched as his brother jump into a tree. "Hm. Trying to get to higher ground? you should know that this won't help you." He mumbled to himself. He drew his odd Spiked Chain Katana he had fashioned earlier. The chain swung limply from its handle, kunai swinging at the end. He then focused his chakra and the chain rose and stiffened, making it like a crude sword. He then held out his left hand and focused his chakra once more. His chakra turned dark purple as it began to form around his arm and made a cresceant moon shape at the end of his fist, making a second weapon. He grinned up at his brother and jumped from one branch to another, advancing on his brother's position quickly.As he reached the top where his brother was, he let the sword go limp and thrust it forward, hoping the chain would wrap around his brother's ankle. _________________ Geassnosenkai.myfreeforum.org

Kuroda both saw and heard as his brother drew the chain-blade. This rose a red flag in Kuroda's head, the blade would give Riku extra attack distance, further increasing the gap between the two. Kuroda realized how unprepared for the exams he was, but decided to make the best of it. Kuroda listened as the sounds of the rustling trees got closer. So, Kuroda preformed the Bunshin no Jutsu and left his copy to distract Riku. In the mean time Kuroda stealthily climbed down the tree and tied some wire to a kunai. At the base of the tree, Kuroda waited for Riku to take the bait,ready to bridge as much of the gap as possible. _________________

Riku placed the sword on his back once more and looked down at his brother. "You think you can run from me?" He called out, jumping to another tree top. He held his right hand up in front of his face and charged more of his chakra into it, causing his arm to glow a dark purple. He then looked down at his brother and grinned, the same evil look coming to his eyes. "You think you can stand up to me? I not only have my weapon grafted already, but I also have mastered the Tensei Chakra Manipulation!" He continued, flinging his right arm forwards and sending a large volley of small, kunai-like projectiles made of the dark chakra. The amount of these projectiles was vast. As they honed in on his younger brother, he jumped from the tree to another, then another, and then another until he was behind his brother. He unleashed another smaller volley of the projectiles and stood, waiting to see if any would impact. _________________ Geassnosenkai.myfreeforum.org

Riku called out as he made his attacks. Kuroda merely smirked and said not a word as he moved out of Riku's barrage. Once free from barrage Kuroda said,"Do you know what happens when you get all those weapons and tricks, do you?" Kuroda made a hegane clone and ran off crossing paths with the clone countless times. Once at Riku's rear the hegane jumped up, made a throwing gesture and yelled at the top of it's voice, while Kuroda jumped in front of Riku and actually threw a group of five shirkenin before disappearing back into the bush. as he ran Kuroda thought "What happens is you get over confident in your abilities and weapons when they, much like yourself, are finite." _________________
