The water glitters in the sunlight as a very light mist covers the islands in which the people will be fighting. The islands are all bugged with cameras and megaphones. Jounin are hidden in different parts of the island to ensure the safety of the competitors. There are a few islands and each one will hold a different fight. The first island has trees, a few bushes and a pond. The second island has trees, cactus and a lot of sand. The third island has trees, mud and water, there is some land but, not a lot. Each one is made to challenge the opponents in a different way. On the shore away from the islands is a booth for registration. This is where the opponents must go first. The proctor is a man who was hand picked by Tai Niju for his keen eye and sense of right and wrong. Though he isn't a shinobi, Tai has a lot of faith in him.Kein Jay sits at the table smiling. He had gotten up at the break of dawn to sign people in.

Whisping through the forest at a quick speed, StÃ© leaped up onto a high tree branch and jumped off of the branch high into the air with a back flip. He landed gently on the lake and looked around. Interesting. He thought to himself as he made his way across the lake. Looking forward, he saw the proctor waiting at a table. That must be where I register at. As he made his way to the proctor, StÃ© noticed the islands and how they were aligned with one another. This is definitely a man made battle ground. A feeling of nervousness swept over him as he realized something; with all this water around, someone with a lot of water techniques could easily take advantage, I better come up with something of my own. StÃ© wasn't much of a strategist, usually going off of what pops in his head at that very second, this would prove to be an interesting challenge for him; luckily, he was flexible and versatile at heart. He approached the proctor's table and gave a rather charming smile while bowing a bit, trying to show as much respect as possible. Giavi StÃ© here, I would like to register please.

StÃ© was happy to be the first one there, he wanted to give off the best impression towards the people who had authority in the village.

Ryo walked out of the forest brush, seemingly talking to himself. In reality, he was talking to his blade, Mizukami. The chain jingled and the ball at the end said Mizu for water. It glowed whenever he talked. Ryo laughed a bit as he walked across the warm sandy ground, feeling each and every rock crunch under his sandals. He said to Mizukami, "You ready Alastor?" The ball on the chain at the back of the hilt glowed, signaling that Mizukami was talking, he said, I told you not to ever call me Alastor.... 'nd ya, I'm ready if you are. Ryo laughed again and went to Tai, handing him a small booklet with the words on the front page, saying, 'Status Report' in neat, perfect, little letters. He surveyed the battlefield, seeing the manmade structures and the water in the ditches. He said, "Tai, I can do better than this with my eyes closed." He forced his chakra out and put one hand on his blade like he always did when he channeled chakra. Mist floated around and made a cloud way above them, making it begin to rain upon the field of battle. The waterways and canals filled up a little and no one would know it was him making this rain pour down.

a cloud of mist slowly formed and from that mist Meizu appeared through a shunshin. he was wearing his cloak and his gauntlet and chain along with his brand new Sword on his back with his Gas mask on his face and his Head band on his forehead. He walked towards the registration and put his gauntlet on the table with a clunk. "Meizu Gokai is here" He said in a bored tone as he walked into the battle field and into the rain feeling the water trickle down the little exposed skin he had and the rest run down his cloak. He watched as the water dripped off his gauntlet with a smile. Nobody had any clue of his new weapon and what it could do. And he forged the blade himself. He stood next to a small puddle as the sun came out and began to beam down on the battle field making the water shine. "Hehehehe................. This is my chance to make anbu" He said making sure no one heard as he sighed and looked up at the still raining sky. watching the water run from his face down his neck and down his back. rain didn't bother him really it would only keep him cooler during the fight. He looked around the battle field and sighed to see Ryo holding a hand sign. yay a rain jutsu great............ the he could see a new person.............. "Hmmmm i think I'm fighting him but that is just my guess he looks weak." He said from the look of Ste but looks could be deceiving

Mashimizu laid down near his lake, using his backpack as a pillow. He spread himself out to be more comfortable. He put his arm over his eyes to block the beaming sun from disabling him from a well deserved nap. He closed his eyes and began thinking about what he was going to do for the upcoming Chunnin exams. Wait.... he thought, Shit! the exams are today! He bolted up from his resting place, grabbing his backpack. He ran straight into the forest, trying to get to the land of waves as fast as possible. Luckily he wasn't that far away. After about ten minutes he came to a clearing and a few yards in front of his was a booth and a few familiar faces. He immediately recognized Meizu and Ryo and called out a greeting to both of them as he approached the booth. He found the sign-up sheet and eagerly wrote his name down. As he did he looked for more names, in case others he knew were here as well. The only name other than Ryo and Meizu was a "Giavi StÃ©." Must be that kid over there he thought as he looked in StÃ©'s direction. Mashimizu wondered how the exams were going to play out. The more he thought about it, the more excited he became. You guys ready? He asked to all of them.

Riku approached the Land of Waves after a long walk. It had been 2 months since he had left the Water Country with another nin named Nobunaga, or Nobody. Now that Nobody had disappeared, Riku kind of regretted leaving his home.

Word spread throughout the Countries of the Exams being held in Kirigakure, and Riku couldn't resist. It was too perfect. He would finally become a Chuunin or even an ANBU and he could finally rejoin his homeland and no longer be missing.

After walking for a long while, he found what he was looking for: The Registration Desk. He approached the man sitting at the desk, pushing through a few other ninjas, carefull to say "Excuse me." to each one as he passed by to keep from starting any unneccessary hostility early on.

He stepped up to the desk and looked down at the man sitting. "Riku Tensei. I'll be signing up." He said to the man before turning and facing the other group of ninja that were awaiting the Exams to begin. "Where is Kuroda? He was supposed to come here and sign up as well." He thought to himself, worrying for the safety of his little brother. Maybe his thoughts would have changed if he had known that he and his brother would be facing off in the exams.

Kuroda move through the woods with a sort of cautious alacrity. Kuroda was torn, he was eager to join the exams but he wanted to remain wary of what was to come. So, Kuroda slowed to a walk to conserve his energy, making his way to a near by clearing no more than 10 yards away. As Kuroda made his way to the clearing; he first noticed his brother, the person who invited him to the exam; he then noticed the registration booth, the variety of hopefuls, and the odd terrain of the location. Kuroda walked up to the booth and ask the rhetorical question,"Registration right?" with a nod from the man at the booth Kuroda signed his name and backed away from the booth. Kuroda made use of the time between the exam by trying to analyze the current scenario. The only person he was familiar with was his brother Riku, even then he didn't know much about his skills a a shinobi. Looking around Kuroda asked,"Does anyone know when the exams will start?"

Kein Jay smiles and looks at everyone with a smile. Tai had left him with a list of situations to put them through. "Pay attention you idjits. I'm not going to take any crap and I expect the utmost respect. Mess with me and I Disqualify you so fast your head will spin. Tai left me in charge of this exam and he has a big, big rule that he wanted me to state before sending you on the boats to your respective islands." Kein Jay smiles as Â h reads the paper. " No shinobi is allowed to use any jutsus that are of medium to high power(C-rank and up). If you do so, you are out. Also, there will be exceptions to the rule but, be wary. I will come on the intercom to each island and announce newer and possibly stranger rules so that I can be entertained by you bunch. Got it? Don't forget that the Mizukage will be watching the entire thing. Mess up and you will pay. Now.... here are the match ups....." Kein Jay looks at the shinobi and then looks at some files on the table."Riku and Kuroda Tensei shall face off on island 1. Meizu and Ste shall face off on island 3. Vatu and Mashimizu are on island 2. Now, get your asses on the boats and outta my face. You all are giving me a headache by just looking at yall. Get...SHOO." Kein Jay points to the boats and smiles.

(Make a post stating that you got on the boat and then leave this thread. Once you and your opponent do so, make a topic of the battle ad wait for me to ok it. Both of the fighters post once each. After each one, I will judge and look over everything.)

Edit: Basic jutsu's are allowed.
