Ryu took a close look at Kikina as her fiery glow disappeared. That's weird Ryu said to himself aloud. He was just about to hit the ground when suddenly, he took note of it. The ground, the battlefield entirely was still Lava. Ryu couldn't touch that, or at least, he couldn't stay on the field around it for a long time. To him, Lava was extremely dangerous because he was a Wood-element Navi.

"Jamaro!" the cyber ninja shouted to his operator. "I gotcha, Ryu!" Jamaro replied. He had took out a battle chip and slipped it into his PET. "AreaGrab, Battle chip-in, Download!" the boy shouted, as he gave another defensive battle chip to his Net Navi. Using this battle chip, Ryu disappeared, zipping away just before his feet reached the ground and then reappearing somewhere else. This time, it was a much safer place than the bleachers of the football field. That place was hot itself. Instead, it was the scoreboard.

"Jamaro, did you see that?"

"Yeah, those flames stopped glowing. I think she's changed her attack pattern."

"Me too. I'm cancelling Shadow Style since I need to conserve energy."

"Rodger"

Ryu began to divert from his speedy form of Shadow Style, and back into his normal form. It was weird, instead of the operator giving the command, the Navigator was. But, Jamaro was calm with it. This was a sign of trust, a sign of companionship. They were both in this battle together, and will be working together until the end of it. "Yeah, I guess we are almost done." Jamaro replied back to the young girl. Normally, Jamaro wouldn't hit a woman but, they didn't say anything about a cyber woman. Though, battling this kid reminded him of when he battled his brother.

"It's possible that she's did a style change, Jamaro." Ryu said, addressing his operator. He had made an analysis of the Fire Navi. He had sensed that Kikina's power had dropped severely compared to what she was just a moment ago. Though, that same Net Navi remained fearless in the eyes of Ryu. "It might not be a style change but, it's definitely a change in strategy. Let's be careful Jamaro, let's use the Net Blaster?"

Ryu's forearm suddenly shifted, transforming into his Net Blaster. Ryu then took aim at Kikina, who was, from Ryu's position at the score board, VERY far away. "Hit him with all you've got, Ryu!" Jamaro said aloud, commanding him. Suddenly, Ryu shot his Blaster, firing a single round of 10 shots towards Kikina. Ryu was merely trying to test out Kikina, and see what she had next in store for this battle.

(10 Shots, one damage each. A total of 10 damage in total, of course)

OoC: I think we should have some kind of storyline. I don't know what, though. It's just that battling all the time would get kinda... boring to me, I think. Or maybe not so much a storyline, but just non-battle posts, too, like them being at school or hanging out somewhere.

IC:
Serin nodded, not really trusting herself to speak. She trusted her Navi to do what needed to be done. She didn't know if she really should, if that was a good technique for NetBattles, but she was about to find out. When the shots fired, she took note of them and their target area. She knew she could easily dodge them, and that's what she did. She rolled to the side of the target area, dodging nine of the blasts, but a stray one still hit her on the side. "Dang! Man, this is getting difficult..." Kikina shook her head. "Hey, Serin! Send me in chip B, alright?" she called to her Operator. Serin nodded, and took in a battlechip, setting it down, so it wouldn't activate quite yet. "I need to get closer. Thanks for not activating it right away," the Navi thanked Serin. Serin only nodded, but she knew that her Navi knew.

Kikina started to run for the scoreboard, and performed a zigzag pattern. She knew what she had to do, but she hoped she could pull it off. She hadn't properly analyzed the field when she should have, so she had to rely on instinct now. Imagine that, Kikina thought, A Navi relying on instinct. She attempted to jump up at the scoreboard, and hopefully, she would make it to the top. If she couldn't reach, as soon as she started to fall, she'd call for the Battlechip to activate. "Heat Cros, fire!" If Ryu tried to attack her, she'd also call for the chip to activate. If she landed on top, she would keep it for later.

(OoC: Since I don't really know if it would be possible to jump to the top of the scoreboard, depending on what you think is possible, I put the responses.) If HeatCros hits, that'd be 20 damage (Since effectiveness would be cut out by the reduced attack power) 286 health left, Riposte mode active.
