OOC: Veli, you are doing your damage calculations wrong. I DID hit you 3 times after you activated Fire Sword, right?

And once again, you haven't explain to me "How" I would NPC out the WWW. Maybe I should explain to you what exactly happens through the course of the 6 games? Apparently you never even finished Battle Network 3.

IC: "Flare Blitz mode?" Jamaro said, thinking aloud. He was pondering over what she had announced. He had looked at the screen of his PET, taking a look at the battle in the cyber world. It appears as if Serin's Net Navi has activated a new ability. Woah.... Ryu said, astounded at Kikina's power. He watched as the red aura surrounded her and powered her up. He could feel heat coming off of her aura. Well now, this has gotten very interesting. Looks like I think might actually enjoy a battle for once.

"Yeah, but I'm a bit nervous. Go into Shadow Mode for defensive purposes, Ryu."

Rodger, Jamaro.

Focusing his mind, and going deeper into his programming, Ryu began to unlock his secret power. Shadow-Style Ryu said, his body taking a new form. The red scarf around his neck grew longer, his blaster changing into a sword, and white lines marking crosses all over his body. "Alright, Ryu. Now attack him head on!" Ryu commanded, shouting ecstatically, and shoving his fist into the air. They both hadn't use this ability in a long time. Kohenkyo! Ryu shouted, as he swung his blade, and released a tornado that dashed across the football field towards Kikina. Let's see what she does now Ryu thought to himself, anticipating Kikina's next move.

(Kohenkyo 30 does Damage if hit but, since Flare Blitz lowers defense, I don't know if it would do more damage or not. It should but, exactly how much damage it does it up to you. That's if it hits.)

Ryu's HP: 497

OOC: After this battle, maybe we should put more detail into our abilities. Do a small revamp of our Navi's and whatnot.

OoC: You said 5 for first round, 5 for second. That equals ten, no? Sorry if I'm off. Yeah, I never did finish Battle Network 3. Meh, whatever. Just as long as it's fun. ^.^

IC:

Kikina felt good about this power. In truth, they had never pulled this off before, so this was a new experience for them. They had an Idea as to what it did, but they weren't certain at all. They figured it would increase their fire damage, but they didn't know if it would affect anything else. This was an open test. She saw the tornado coming towards her, but she dodged to the left of it, an dwhile in the middle of her jump, she fired off a HeatShot. She wondered if it would hit, but she didn't do anything to see if it did. "Hey, Serin, maybe we should've gotten a RockCube or something to that effect. If I'm going to use it, I'm not sure if I'll be able to." Serin sighed. Her Navi had a point. "Hey, Kikina... what about using something else. You know, to suit your needs?" Kikina smiled. "Sure, why not," she told Serin. "Alright then. I'll give you the current chip, and then plug in the next one. Navi+20 chip, activate!" she called out the chip, but the directions were discreet, hopefully getting the wrong impression on the man. If she was going to win, she'd have to use deception. Then, she slotted in another chip, hopefully without him hearing. "Kikina, your battlefield is coming up!" she spoke anxiously, but quietly. "LavaStge, go!" Down in the battle, Kikina smiled. Let's see how they handle this! The floor beneath them changed to a firey, boiling pit of Lava. It wasn't deep enough to submerse the Navi's, but it would hurt any Navi that wasn't fire- or at least make them dance from the heat. However, the bleachers would still be there- it seemed they were a permanent addition to the field of play.

487 Damage, LavaStge active, Flare Blitz active, HeatShot fired. Would do 30 damage, including power-up and weakness.

OOC: Are you forgetting the 3 times I hit you BEFORE that post? Look back on what you wrote on the second page. Despite the fact that I hit you, you didn't subtract anything from your HP.

Also, describe how you use your battle chips AND how they work in the cyber world. Don't just put, I use so and so and it does this and that.

One more thing, you DO know that Navi+20 only works with Navi Chips, in which you do not have in your chip folder.

OoC: Sorry... I'll keep an eye out for that next time. I didn't know that. I was going off of Battle Chip Challenge, where it powers up Navi attacks- your navi, in other words. As soon as you read this, you can delete it.

OOC: Veli, I can't do anything until you describe how Lava Stage is used in your post. And HeatShot does MORE than just 15 Damage, it does about 30 or 40. What was Battle Chip challenge about? I knew there was a reason I didn't like it.

OoC: Depends on charrie, which there were six of. In two of them (Chaud and Lan), the WWW decided to delete the winning navi of a tournament. As Mayl, you are trying to prove yourself to Lan by winning the tournament (As far as I know, the WWW are not involved). And Mary and Ring, you are trying to get friends, although Ring is the one that keeps pushing Mary forward. As Kai and Turboman, you are also trying to prove yourself to Lan, your idol ever since he stopped a virus from killing all on a bus that crashed that Kai was in. As Dex... I don't really know. I haven't played much as him. Also, post completed.

"Is that all?" Jamaro asked, boasting his own morale, and taunting. Though, he had a good reason; nonetheless Jamaro had decided to finish this battle within the next few moves. He had already planned it out, analysing the girl's weaknesses. For a noobie, she's got some nice Chips. he said to himself, as he grabbed a battle chip of his own and inserted the chip into his PET. "Barrier100, Battle chip-in! Download!"

"Barrier!" Ryu said, as he used the uploaded battle chip. Suddenly, ust before HeatShot had hit Ryu, a digital barrier came down, completely nullifying the damage. Close one Ryu said to himself. He was sweating a bit from the pressure of the battle. Slowly coming along, this battle was getting tenser by the minute.(Grammar error)

"Lava Stage?" Jamaro said, a bit surprised at Serin. He had thought that it was a stupid move though, when he thought about it, it made perfect sense. He thought that it was stupid at first because, the Lava from the battle chip would deal some serious damage to the both of them. Though, thinking about it, why would she use Lava Stage in the first place? Jamaro said to himself, suddenly coming to a realization on Kikina. "She's a Fire Navi!" Jamaro announced aloud. "Ryu, she's got elemental advantage!"

"It's okay, Jamaro. We've got the element of surprise against her as long as.....huh?"

Ryu was safe in his barrier, as the Lava surrounded the field. Though, he wasn't safe for long, as his Barrier began to deteriorate from the Heat of the lava. "Oh no!" Ryu said, flabbergasted. He began to feel the sting of the lava on his feet after the barrier was completely destroyed. He tip tapped all over the field, feeling the intense heat of the lava. "Jamaro, I can't
fight like this, let's jack out." the Ninja Net Navi said.

"No need, Ryu. Look to the side of you, there's some bleachers, they seem cool enough to land on."

"Rodger"

Ryu used his super speed of Shadow Style to hop over to the bleachers without having to worry about Kikina, much. Hoping onto the bleachers, he had discovered that the bleachers were just as hot as the Lava, seeing how Fire heats up metal, and at that degree it could be dangerous, even for cyber metal. Ryu continued to tip tap all over on the bleachers. "Jamaro, I'm a sitting duck here, let's jack out!"

"Please, Ryu, just hang on a little bit more. If we can just stall her for a little bit longer, we'll win for sure."

"Alright, but if I get deleted, it's YOUR fault"

And so, Ryu remained on the bleachers, almost defenseless. Did Jamaro really have something cooking or was that just the smell of fried Navi?

Ryu's HP: 477 (20 damage from Lava Panels, since 10x2 is 20)

Kikina gritted her teeth once the barrier came down. That wasn't part of the plan. However, the LavaStg had worked as planned- for once. Maybe she could use the Navi's distraction to set off one of her more... ultimate attacks.

"Hey, Kikina," Serin whispered. "Are you thinking of using... that...? I know this might be the most opportune time to use it, but you know if you miss, you'll be a sitting Navi." She chanced a glance at Jamaro. He seemed a little tense, but maybe that was just a show. After all, she herself was trying to appear calm, but she was indeed sweating a bit. That's when she heard a whistle from behind her, and saw that their intense battle had drawn in a slight crowd. The crowd itself was split, most going behind Jamaro, since he was the more experienced NetBattler. Or at least, he wasn't as new around here. There was a few behind the new girl, though- if only because she seemed interesting for a little new girl. She felt herself blushing from the attention, and tried to get the distractions out of her mind to concentrate on the battle.

Back in cyberworld, Kikina started to charge, a red light surrounding her features. "Secondary weapon- Soulfire, activate!" Her arm turned into a red sword, and slammed the sword into the ground, moving to her knees to add force. The ground around the Navi cracked, small fragments flying. The crack then shot out towards the opposing Navi's location, and unless the Navi kept moving away from the crack, a large pillar of fire would erupt from underneath him. If he moved enough, the crack would just stop following him, and nothing would happen. Either way, Kikina would sit for a few seconds before getting back up from her knees to a standing position, breathing slightly heavily. "Are you okay, Kikina?" Serin asked worriedly. "I'm fine... for now. Just a little tired..." came the response. They both hoped that Ryu was hit, but they did doubt it.

487, possible 70 damage due to elemental benefits

IC: She fell for it? Ryu said to himself. You see, he was anticipating Kikina to make the wrong move, taking advantage of him since she thought he was in a tight bind. Instead, she had forgot that Ryu was a ninja, a master of disguise and deception. Serin and Kikina fell for Jamaro and Ryu's bait. Now that they were hooked, line, and sinker. "Anti-Damage, Trap Battle Chip activate!" Jamaro said, pressing a button on his PET. Previously, he had inserted a battle chip that had remained inactive until it Jamaro was ready to use it. This battle chip, was much like a Trap Card in Yugioh, except, this trap would not only save Ryu, but deal damage to Kikina as well.

Ryu was hit dead on by the Soulfire attack. He had got singed by the flames just a little bit. Luckily, with Anti-Damage, Ryu turned into a puff of white smoke,(much like in Naruto) and what was dropped behind him was a doll, a dummy at that. It was a small doll that slightly replicated Ryu in Chibi form. Anyhow, Ryu disappeared, avoiding the 100% direct damage of the attack. However, that wasn't the only power of that Battle chip. Anti-Damage had a second effect that was coming soon.

"Retaliation time, Ryu!" Jamaro shouted out to his Net Navi on the field. High in the sky, Ryu was floating in mid-air. He looked at the Lava field right below him, though he didn't pay too much attention to it or feared what would happen if this attack didn't work. What he thought about was how lethal his next attack was. Suddenly, three digital shuriken materialized in the palm of his hand. Sure, they didn't look powerful but, they packed a great punch.

"Anti-Damage! Counter Attack!" Ryu said as he threw the ninja stars. They were extremely fast, and were aimed directly towards Kikina. On top of that, they were deadly and accurate. Mainly because of Shadow Style, and it's effects still active, the stars were much faster than normal. "Let's see you beat that!" Jamaro gloated at Serin. He began to notice the crowd gather around them. Most of the people gathered to see if Jamaro would lose, however, he was counting on him winning today. Hopefully, he wouldn't make a fool of himself today. Either way, if he lost, he would be a fool, and if he won, he would be a fool for beating up a little girl. There was no true way to become the victor of this battle today. Meanwhile, Ryu drifted in mid-air awaiting for his feet to touch the ground, as his ninja stars were thrown at Kikina. If hit, the damage would prove fatal.

(Anti-Damage does 100 Damage for each star that was thrown. Since 3 stars are thrown, that makes a total of 300 damage in total)

Ryu's HP: 442(-35 from Soulfire. Despite using his battle chip, the power of Flare Blitz is still active and Ryu took a slight bit of damage from Kikina)

OOC: Read my spoiler on page #2. And doesn't Flare Blitz Sacrifice defense to make Heat chips stronger?

OoC: You're right. So instead of 100 damage apiece, they would do 125 damage apiece, for 375 damage.

Serin watched as the fire hit, but something didn't feel right. That was when Ryu puffed in smoke, leaving behind a chibi version of himself. "Kikina, watch out!" she told her Navi. Hopefully, nothing would bug out to make her get hit. Hopefully. She moved, hopefully to dodge whatever was thrown at her, and she managed to barely get by one, but then she got hit by the second one. She was about to move through the third, but she glitched slightly, making her stop in her tracks, and got hit by the trap's counter attack. It knocked her back a bit, and she pushed herself up unsteadily. By the time that she had gotten back up, Ryu should have enough time to get back on the ground. "Serin... A little... Help, please?" Serin nodded, and said, "Battle Routine, change! Riposte mode, activate!" When she said that, the firey glow on Kikina disappeared, and nothing else seemed to come up, besides a slight shade of white barely outlining Kikina's shape. "Battle chip, set. Recover 50, activate!" With that, Kikina recovered a small amount of her HP. She looked Ryu in the eyes and said, "I guess... We're almost done here, huh?"

The crowd was getting more antsy. Was Jamaro really getting shown up by a little girl? Even if he did win, he had been pushed this far by her... Serin shook her head. She wasn't very comfortable in this enviroment, with tensions high and people watching her and Jamaro's every move. She was fidgiting, which showed her uncomfortableness in the situation. "Kikina... can you take over for yourself? I'll just do the slot ins... and you tell me what you need..." Down below, Kikina nodded. "Sure... Let's see how much more damage we can do...

OoC: Finish Later, and this time I won't forget. 237 + 50 = 287 Health left, Riposte mode activated
