That's an age old question. Reason we don't have one is because it takes away from the RP.

Well, that's a hindrance for you. Most of us are always on MSN or Yahoo. Especially those all important mods who approve things. Some of us don't pop up unless we're called.
It's your choice but know that there will never be a chatbox here and most of us all communicate via IM programs of the site.

As it was pointed out, many people, especially new members, have asked this question, and, as it was pointed out, we took it out because too many people were using it instead of actually RP'ing. If you want to talk to someone, use either the PM system, or talk to them on an IM.
