I really hate to seem like some rebelrouser hellraiser of this website, but now I feel like on some level Im just being messed with now. (I was going to discuss this in my topic but it is now locked)

You can not obtain S rank missing nin unless you were a previous Kage; sannin which are no longer on here or a previous Gonin.

Sorry I was busy so couldnt respond right away.

My point is that where does it say this? Like there has to be a "rule" on something like this doesnt there? Because if people just "told" people stuff, there could be hundreds of rules one would not know about. I try to RP fair and follow the rules but when there is not one on something (but yet there is just because someone said so..), then I get thrown off I guess...

Also, if you had to be a previous Sannin or Kage or Gonin then it's almost like saying Missing Ninja are incapable of advancing beyond a certain point by themselves. And we all well know that this is not true.

Well, actually, Rank shouldn't matter. Ok, think about it, if Naruto went Missing-Nin, you think he would be just a D-Ranked Missing-Nin? HELL NO! He'd be S-Ranked because of his abilities and whatnot. Sasuke went Missing-Nin, you're saying that he's only a D-Ranked Missing-Nin because he's technically still a Genin? HELL NO! He damn-near killed Orochimaru at one point! That automatically makes him an S-Ranked Missing-Nin. Basically, I think it's like this. If one's a B-/A-Ranked Missing-Nin, then they can still become an S-Ranked Missing-Nin by doing stuff that'll boost their Rank up. Say something like, trying to and/or assassinating a Kage?

I fully agree with Katsuga, you should be able to raise your rank by becoming more notorious/assassinating famous people.

My character originally tried to assasinate Sench's character who is Hokage (How he became Missing Ninja look in the bingo book). And in the rank training topic I said that my character was going to wipe out an entire town as part of his training.

All that aside my point wasnt even that, it was that there is no rule on such things so I was wondering what I had to do because there is no rule/way to become S Rank Missing Ninja if you look around other than Rank Training. I wasnt able to find anything that said that I had to do anything to become more notorious either. So it leaves Rank Training as the only real option.

But yah if there was to be a new rule notoriousness would apply, but not to me persay because my post was before the rule was ever made.

If you tried to assassinate him, and you did become known to him, as well as the other Konoha Shinobi, then you technically should be an S-Ranked Missing-Nin, no?

Because missing-nin's rank is not just how wanted he is, but also an indicator of his strength. You won't become any little bit stronger by committing crimes. Which brings us to the discussion about ranks and what not. But seriously, it took Zeke a year to get to S-rank. You want it in a few weeks and saying it's unfair that you can't?

No, I didnt say that, what I said is that its unfair to make people have to be under the following of rules that are not there. Maybe it did take Zeke a year to get S Rank, but he admited himself that I was training and posting a bunch for my character RP-wise. Not to mention the fact that if anyone followed this so called "rule" it is highly unfair to them too because of the fact that it really isnt an official rule.

So maybe you want to make a rule about it. Post it then, make it a rule; your problem is then solved. But I came before the rule so it doesnt apply to me just like how driving age laws dont apply to people who already have their liscense but would be technically under a rule according to their age. Same goes for the drinking age, when that was changed, people who could already drink could still drink, but people who werent yet allowed to drink had to wait until they got to the new age's rule.

And anyways, I look at some people's characters and they have "boughten" S Rank characters with FC. How would my FC be any less valuable?

Proof of what dude? When you say something like that say provide proof of (insert something here) so I know what the hell your talking about.

Please read all the posts too before you post too because Im sure there could be much more for you to comment on that could give us insight. (That goes for everyone who wants to get in on this discussion read all the posts)

If people have "bought" not "boughten" S-Ranks Nins, by all means, please show us.

Futhermore I have been reading and there was a system being made for this situation but until then wear out the storm and stop causing a ruckus. The system will be made in due time.

Okay glad to see you could correct a grammer mistake... but it wont help your point any...

Look at the people who've been around NRC longer, people with more than one S Ranked character it tends to apply to. I believe Sench's Frederik character was straight up boughten and he's S Rank missing nin for example...

The system hasnt been made yet though, so it doesnt apply to me (like I said read the previous posts Ive already discussed that)
And dude Im not causing ruckus and I dont have any "storm" Im completely 100% calm and simply having a discussion here. If you want to think of things like that then please feel free to leave the discussion because it seems your making it an argument. The "Drop Box" is meant for discussions like this which is why I posted it here...

You might not know this yet Chii, but I am really not a person who likes to argue much. Like AJ said, it's "bought", not "boughten". Also, I intended to but Frederick a jounin rank at first, but then a story arc came up and I got permission to start with S-rank M/N.

Now to the actual argument. You are wrong, and no matter how much you argue, it won't change anything. It might result in me changing my decision about letting you rank train from B to A missing-nin though. Like I said, I bent the rules slightly when I approved of that, and I deemed it possible because both ranks are jounin level. Don't make me regret my decision and follow the rules strictly.

On a more serious note. I can understand their are unwritten RP rules that everyone must follow, like no dodging everything and god modding stuff like that... but as far as Character Rules and advancement and jutsu rules... well lets just put it this way, they need to be set in stone. Otherwise it causes stuff like this. And yes, no site will ever be perfect, there are always things that need to be added or improved upon... but that goes with everything. So why not take this topic as a learning experience, that you might need a rule for it, and just post it... pretty simple and then your rules become more indepth and more and more problems are solved and less and less posts like this pop up. Does anyone get that?

We are currently working on a Missing-nin leveling system. and Tinaki is right, we have alot of "unwritten" rules...but we are also working on that too.

I'm dead serious. You can complain to Lava about not being allowed to rank train to S-rank M/N, but that will just result in you getting bumped down to B, and me getting in trouble for letting you get that A.
