Appearence: Tokage is a rather dusty looking person. His hair always seems to have sand in it, as well as sand on other parts of his body, such as arms, and when visible, legs. His brown hair is usually never combed and messy, although he keeps his face clean-shaven of some, if any, stubble. Unlike most ninja, Tokage keeps his hair short, as long hair interferes during combat and training. His most striking features are his eyes. He was born with blue eyes, yet his eyes turned yellow as he aged. Not really sure why, Tokage jokes it is because of all the sand he’s gotten in his eyes from living in Sunagakure. He normally wears a black sleevless shirt, with the symbol of a scorpion on the back. He will wear pants in other countries, usually because it isn’t as hot as Sunagakure, and will wear shorts with his kunai strap usually located on his shin. He has several scars on his body, the most notable being right across his nose, several on theback of the neck and the shoulders, as well as the arms. In fact it is hard not to find places Tokage has scars.

Tokage is calm. Peaceful. He keeps a level head. Tokage is naturally anti-social, but has come out of a shell ever since the Ninja Academy has forced him to be more social. He spends many hours a day meditating, as the soul of a ninja is even more important than the body and the mind. As a calm individual, his friends and peers often ask him for advice. He would prefer to absolve something peacefully, rather than fight, and is usually able to come up with a solution to solve a matter, and is a natural mediator. Tokage is for the most part kind and polite to the people he meets. He has a carefree disposition and will usually do things he wants to rather than expected of him. Recently he has become more aloof and indifferent to people a he has other thoughts on his mind.

Strengths: Tokage is fast and quick on his feet. That is his main advantage, as well as his ability to keep a level head in battle and concentrate. Very agile, he can dodge most blows, and likes to get in close combat to land blows and defeat opponents. Tokage has a high endurance as well, and can think up strategies quite fast. He can also take a large amount of pain.

Weaknesses: In a fight against brute strength or more powerful ninjutsu, Tokage can only hope for the best and wait it out. He isn’t one for long-distance combat, and prefers medium to close combat battles. His skill with thrown weapons isn’t very good either and he has poor aim. He occasionally has flashbacks of torture by the Jashin priests that leaves him helpless until they pass.

Description: When the jutsu is used, scorpions will burrow from underground and assist their summoner in combat or any way possible. The amount and size of the scorpions depend on how much chakra is sued, but there are three basic kinds: a small regular sized scorpion which is black and very poisonous, a scorpion the size of an average dog which is less poisonous but has crushing claws, and a large scorpion about four to five feet long which has large claws and a sharp spined tail but isn’t poisonous. They are usually used to surprise an enemy or trap them and in battle rely more on speed than on power. The scorpions are mindless and obey their summoner to the death.

Description: This is not really a jutsu, but more of an ability gained through injury of the body for a long time. Normally older ninja, battle scarred veterans in their thirties, can come about this condition, and it is rare to appear unless one had been fighting for decades. If consistent injury is stained to the body such as torture, the technique will surface much quicker. However, this is a jutsu not sought after, most who hold it are either grizzled veterans that have seen too much suffering, or victims of great abuse with haunted memories and damaged psyches.

Basically, this technique is an innate ability to resist damage far beyond normal capacity. This allows a person to survive, even in just barely, when the amount of damage would have killed a normal ninja. Normal taijutsu attacks; simple punches and kicks, without added chakra to back it up are useless against ninjas with such resistance. This does not mean the ninja that have developed such resistance to pain are invincible, their body receives as much damage as any other ninja injured, but because their body is so used to it, it does not affect them as much.

Background: Tokage was not raised actually in Sunagakure, but was raised by his grandparents a short distance outside of the city, inhabiting a small house where Tokage’s grandfather worked as a small weapons smith, creating kunai and shuriken, which the Sand ninja would buy when Tokage’s grandfather would go into town about twice a week. Tokage had never known his parents, and his grandparents never told him anything about them when he was younger. Because he didn’t live in the village, Tokage spent most of his free time climbing the desert rocks and creating Nekode. He became very frustrated with his quiet life and no knowledge of his parents when he was about 10. He set out in the desert searching for rocks to climb and vent his frustration on. He got lost in the desert and was forced to survive for a week in the wilderness before his grandfather and two ninja found him. He nearly slipped into madness as dehydration and hunger overwhelmed him. During that time a change occurred in Tokage. He was no longer a frustrated, angry, foulmouthed adolescent. During his time lost in the deserts, he was able to find his inner self and reflect on his life so far. After that for two years, he became a calm individual, accustomed to being able to meditate a problem away.

After becoming more peaceful, Tokage asked his grandparents if he could be enrolled in the Sunagakure ninja academy. Although this had surprised him, Tokage was given permission, and he began to become a natural user of taijutsu and ninjutsu, yet lack in the fields of genjutsu and thrown weapons. He still carries the Nekode he used to climb rocks with, but now has converted them to serve more of a weapons purpose. Although still curious at his parent;s identities, Tokage has refused his grandparents request to tell him of their identity. After his experience in the desert, he believes they will be revealed in time.

Tokage spent an eventful time in the shinobi academy, making many friends, and sparring with a number of students, and ditching classes before going to the genin exams. He was on a team with Rio Hyuuga and Kumo Uchiha of Konoha, and fought in the forest of death and in 1 vs. 1 combat in the arena against Ky Inuzuka. He also met individuals that would later become very powerful such as Renima Henjay. After returning home to Suna, Tokage spent half of a year training himself, and trying to keep down a battle-lust and anger that had appeared in the genin exams he felt was inhuman. Most of the time was spent meditating and working on taijutsu. His grandfather taught Tokage the Dochu Eigyo, Genjutsu Kai, and Lotus techniques. Tokage himself began training with weights on his legs, defining his fighting style based on speed and blitzing the enemy. He increased his speed even more than it was, and has become a much more disciplined person, but his ranged fighting skills are still terrible. After he had finished training under his grandfather, Tokage became more interested in helping with Suna ninja matters, to further his chances of creating a perfect world with no violence or war.

Tokage took the chunin exams when he was 15, and fought against a Ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village in the tournament. The ninja used a deceiving genjutsu on him and Tokage was defeated, but the proctors were very impressed with the battle and awarded him the title of chunin anyway. Over the years since becoming a ninja, Tokage has earned the nickname “Sand Flash” in Suna because of his speed. Tokage has been working on forming his own jutsu that will ensure him as the fastest shinobi of all time.

Tokage became a hunter-nin through ANBU and tracked down many missing ninja, not bothering to hear their stories of why they left their village, because in Tokage’s eyes all missing ninja deserved to die. Tokage tracked down an A-ranked missing ninja for weeks one assignment, before he was ambushed and taken prisoner in the dungeons of the ninja’s new village. One in the remote sections of the world dedicated to the worship of Jashin. Here Tokage was tortured and interrogated to get information about Sunagakure, as a chunin, he only knew a small amount. The Jashin priests believed he was hiding things from them so their interrogation continued relentlessly. Tokage frantically wondered why Sunagakure had abandoned him and why no one was coming to his rescue. For three years Tokage put up with torture until by accident, a band of missing ninja stumbled upon the Jashin hideout and killed all the priests, freeing Tokage. Tokage returned to Suna, a completely different person, living in a country he no longer recognized.

Two things I see wrong here:

1: It's "Chuunin" not "Shunin"

2: The Lotus Jutsus are forbidden and you have to be taught them, and they're considered S-Ranked, so, you can't have them yet.

Someone has tried to get the Lotus's because he's pretty much a Rock Lee, and that's where I saw that they're considered S-Rank because they're forbidden.

Hien [Flying Swallow] means you have to have blades. Your Nekode are just spikes. Though there are different variations, I'd say it's safe if you could put a picture of the type of Nekode you are using, to clear up any further issues.

Also, your element is "Air" ((Fuuton)) meaning you need wind jutsu, and you can't have the Doton, unless you have a dual affinity and thusly need to have that listed. But even so, fuuton is your primary element and should out number your doton jutsu. But your Fuuton : Doton ratio is leaning towards Doton ((1:2)) So if you could fix this problem by adding in more fuuton jutsu, or taking the doton jutsu out, then we can further evaluate your profile.

To clear up Lotus, the initial Renge jutsu is C-ranked and I think Everwill and airknight also have it, so I think it's acceptable. I can take out a Doton jutsu and give Fuuton a greater ratio. Although
Flying Swallow is a wind element jutsu. And the nekode Tokage uses are more designed for combat, so around something like this: http://www.edvbox.de/bujinkan-bud...su/bujinkan/ninjawaffen/shuko.jpg but longer and bigger. Not just little spikes. Razz

While they may be longer, they still can't be considered blades. They, at best, could be long spikes. Blades are usually flat, with edged sides. I can assure you that nekode are not.

Might I suggest you change your element to Doton? It would just make more sense.

And You're right, anyone can have Renge Lotus as long as they are genin. Assumably their main fighting style has to be taijutsu as well.

well I'm alright with the lotus, just so long as this is the last lotus user. Seeing as we don't want tons of people with it. And the nekode, as syra stated, are not blades, just longer spikes.

And, changing the element would be ok, if it weren't for the fact he's had fuuton as his affinity for two full ranks. Changing it is against the rules. And also, it isn't a fuuton jutsu unless it says Fuuton. Hien is not an elemental jutsu, because it is taijutsu.

Ah. Well in the manga Flying Swallow is clearly only to be used by ninja with an affinity for air. Basically the ninja just uses chakra to extend the length of a weapon with chakra, so it seems that I could have Tokage extend the length of the nekode spikes.

ah. well there is the fault in your reasoning. All the manga says, is not golden. While it is a better trusted way to judge things, not everything in the manga is considered cannon, and what is cannon is what is golden. Such as the death of Kabuto, in the manga, naruto killed him with the rasengan. In the anime, kabuto narrowly escaped his death.

Also, while a fuuton affinitive shinobi is required for the jutsu, this does not make it a fuuton jutsu in and of itself. Also, the site's jutsu req states you require a blade, and you do not possess one. This is something you'll need multiple OK's on, since two mods believe it doesn't count. Probably zeig would be the best person to clarify the issue with.

Think about this for a second. If you lengthened your nekode, they would be strapped pointing down on your hand. The chances of hitting your opponent instead are low, and you will most likely hit yourself. The claws themselves would become unweildly, and an experienced Rper would be able to come up with a perfect explaination, and rip the claws right out of your hands with ease.

Now, what exactly do you mean by Nekode? The weapon itself in real life is similar to what Wolverine from X-Men has: A glove with three or four claws that connected at the knuckles. Something like that could be used for Flying Swallow. If it's something like the picture you showed, tiny claws that stick of the palm, then no, you can't use those for Flying Swallow.
