The Dark forest (Air and Cite. Others are welcomed)

Kishi had left konoha once again to head back into his favorite place to train. Crossing the open fields that lead to them. That was a area shroweded in myth and legend that few were daring enough to enter. To Kishi it was home and had no danger other than him self of coarse. It was just hard to navigate so those unative to the area become lost easily.

He came to a thick area where his many hair missles had not reached. It was near a creek on a gravel bar, with smooth stones from erosion. The sun was shining down but it seemed like twilight because of the density of the trees. The birds and other animals ran through the area with no worry around the two shinobi.

"Well Vayne Lets being, Mold your chakra, sending it to your feet." Kishi did the same and started to walk up the tree. He hoped his student had enough control over his chakra to at least start this training. The tree's here were taller than any where else in the world thou so it would not be easy for the young shinobi to do. "then go to the top" Kishi got about 20 feet off the ground and did a back flip"

Most Sensei's would take time to learn about there student but that wasnt what kishi was doing. He was asked to train not become friends. If that came from this then so be it, but for the moment he would get straight to the training and then go from there. After all Kishi was a genius and had several things to try.
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne and his master weezed through the plains, as thre legs put them in a very dense forest, one in the Land of Fire, which Vayne had not explored. The wind whistled in Vayne's ear, as he watched his master demenstrate precise chakra control, and skill. Vayne rubbed his chin thinking, "Well, One could have expected this...I suppose." Vayne had excellent chakra control, but he had never channeled it into a specific limb, to try and scale a surface. He sighed heavily, as he walked within two feet of the rough, dark tree. Vayne gave a slight burst of speed, as he dashed, trying to get the chakra into his feet. As his feet hit the tree, Vayne left the ground for a few seconds, as he went up the tree...almost twenty feet. He thought to himself, "Shit", as he pulled a kunai, out of a pouch in his baggy black pants. Swinging his arm with power, Vayne cut deep into the bark, making the place which he had gotten to on his first try. As he landed solidly on the ground, Vayne ruffled his hair, as he examined the tree, and wound in which he had made.

Vayne turned back to Kishi, his spiky black hair waving at his master. As the former Leaf shinobi looked at his master, he did not smile, nor laugh, for the look on his face was one sharp as blades. Vayne said nothing, as he turned back to the tree, and began to concentrate. He took in breath, as he took off running towards his wooden target. As Vayne began to rise, he felt the grip in his feet began to get lost, as he willed himself on. He thought to himself, "Almost....got it...." Vayne passed his last mark, as he feet lost grip on the soft wood. Slashing hard to mark his place, Vayne kicked off of the tree, pulling off a backflip, as he landed with both feet on the ground. Vayne turned around to face Kishi, as he bellowed, "This isn't so bad...I'll master it in three days or less...take that to the bank." Turning on his heels, Vayne looked back at the tree, examining the last mark on the tree that he had made. It was nearly five feet higher than his last. He was already making progress. He smirked to himself, as he relaxed for a moment, trying to regain his composure.
airknight12

Kishi just smiled for a moment as he watched His student attempt the jutsu. Climbing up to about where Kishi was for the example. The shinobi took into account how Vayne was moving his legs. Each were relying more on the muscle than the chakra and there for made it harder to focus. So on the first try he came to the conclusion he wasn’t keeping enough chakra going to his feet as he did this. Then the boy looked at him and reminded Kishi of himself at that age. Resilient t but still ignorant.

Then the second attempt came. The Young shinobi was focusing his chakra with more power this time instead of relying on his own body. By the end of it Vayne was using to much at once and becoming varied in the flow of the Chakra to the bottom of his feet.

"well Done for your first few try's, but here Is your problem. You have to keep it consistent. Find the Right amount of chakra and stick with it. Don’t change its amount at all or you will fall." Kishi didn’t expect the Genin to get this extremely easily but he had the drive to pull it off in a short time. Kishi wasn’t just looking at the boys power over the technique but his chakra reserves as well.
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne looked back at Kishi, as he listened to the words of wisdom, that his master had given him. He gave a slight nod, as he took a step back, and sized up the tree again. The black pits of his eyes wandered the bark, as Vayne set off. As he jumped on the tree, and began to scale it, he thought to himself, "Even chakra...keep balance." His concentration broke, as his foot, became heavy, and dipped into the bark. Drawing out the kunai agian, Vayne marked the tree, as he jumped back, and landed soundly on the ground. He thought to himself, "Dammit...to much chakra input!" His frustration was beginning to grow, as he lashed out, at the tree behind him, jabbing it, as it leaned slightly to the left. Vayne took a deep breath, as he calmed himself down, and looked at his last mark on the tree. He closed his eyes for a split second, as he nodded, and dashed towards the tree again.

As he began to scale the tree, he thought, "Focus...even chakra..." As he continued to rise up the tree, Vayne watched, as the canopy of the tree, began to grow, ever so closely. With an intake of breath, he continued to go, as he reached a series of limbs. Just as he was about to reach the top, the smirk slid off of his face, as the young shinobi began to free fall out of the tree. His chakra had slipped...and he was almost there. Keeping a level head, Vayne made handseals, as kunai flew out of his pocket, and nailed the baggy pants to the trunk of the tree. As he hung upside down on the tree, his hair sprayed out everywhere, Vayne shouted, "Master Kishi...I can do this...I just keep losing my concentration...and I don't know why..." As frustrated as Vayne was, he didn't want to ask for more help...but he had no choice, he just couldn't hold his concentration, and needed advice. Vayne reached up, as he grabbed the kunai out of his pants, as he did a half front flip, letting the blade of the kunai scrap into the bark of the tree, as he slid all the way to the base.
airknight12

The boy ran up the tree and was doing fine but each time he fell it was for a spilt second. Then he could re focus him self. Kishi put his hand on his chin and thought. THen his student started to fall from near the top of the tree. "great" Kishi started performing the hand seals for hair missle no jutsu to catch the boy then get under him to grab him, but then he stopped himself.

Kishi walked over to the boy and looked him over to make sure there were no injures. Thankfully there was nothing more than pieces of bark across Vayne's body. "Sit down with me" Kishi sat down with his legs crossing over as if to meditate. He then picked up a leaf and handed to Vayne. "put that on your forehead and focus your chakra to the leaf and hold it. Its simple but uses the same principles that your goal does".
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne sat with Kishi, as he wiped the bark from off of his blue T-shirt. He took the leaf, as he slapped it onto his forehead, and closed his eyes. The leaf stayed put, even as Vayne opened his eyes and looked back in the face of Kishi. Now he understood the concept, now he was ready to scale the tree. He removed the leaf from his forehead, as he stood to his feet, and looked at the tree. Before he thought about moving he thought to himself, "Control the chakra flow...keep it even...concentrate." Vayne drew in breath, as he took off towards the tree. He marched up the tree, with a fierce speed, as he passed his first to marks with ease. He had nearly reached his last mark, as he thought to himself, "Control the chakra...concentrate." Vayne's eyes were bulging, as he kept his pace, scaling the tree with ease (so it seemed). Running on the bark of the tree, as if it were pavement, Vayne knew he had it this time. "Just a few more feet." He continued to move, as he outreached his arm, and grabbed for the highest branch on the tree.

Vayne gripped the limp, as he hung in the air, suspended by the branch. Looking down on Kishi from nearly sixty-five feet plus, Vayne gave him a smile. Gathering his strength, Vayne lifted himself onto the tree branch, as he spread he arms all the way out on each side, as if he were about to fly. He shouted, "There is nothing that I can not overcome, Master Kishi! I am 'The Legacy of The Third Kazekage...don't ever forget it!" A huge smirk was on Vayne's face, as he watched Kishi from above. He started to whistle, as he leaned against the tree trunk, and thought to himself, "I did it...I did it." As he thought this, another problem began to outweigh his victory. He leaned back erect, as he shouted down to Kishi, "Now how in the hell do I get down?" He began to chuckle, as he awaited his masters answer.

occ: whelp for you to learn the jutsu you have to make a total of 10 posts so um, Ill think of something. and 65 Ft is no where close to the top lol. Ill just say it was a small tree.

Ic: Kishi smiled at his student once he figured it out. Then the boy went for it, climbing the tree successfully, but it was a small tree compared to the many sky scrapping red woods of the dark forest. Still it was impressive to see a genin learn to control that jutsu so well in such a short time. There where man ways to improve it past that point thou that were still to be shown to his student. how do i get down? Kishi heard this and fell over laughing at the statement. it was so simple but so hilarious to him. He just rolled on the ground for a moment. Then he stood up and dusted him self off. "That’s kind of obvious isn’t it? Go back the way you came. Just use your chakra, and take it easy. coming down is a bit harder as your moving with gravity so it makes you go a bit faster"

Kishi sighed and thought of how else to train him with this jutsu. Vayne has a concentration problem so he would probably test him by having him use it while being attacked or distracted in some way or fashion. Then move on to actually moving from tree to tree and fighting someone while using it. IT would defiantly take a tole on the boys chakra to do all this.
Vayne Kanekage

OOC: Gah...I hate all of these new rules....

IC: Vayne's mouth dropped, as he listened to the advice, Kishi, gave him from below. He was not one that held much fear, but this time he couldn't deny, that he could be in trouble. Either Vayne would fall flat on his face, or he would make it down the tree without a hitch...there was no in between. Vayne gathered breath, as he looked down at the ground, and began to edge himself back to the trunk of the tree. one, two, three, after his three second count, Vayne plunged from the tree, headlong, as his hair began to spray backwards. As he fell, he concentrated his chakra to his feet, as they gripped the tree. He slowed himself, as he tried to steady himself among the soft bark of the tree. He was almost halfway down the tree, when his foot got in the soft bark. He thought to himself, "Dammit...", as he began to free fall from nearly thirty feet. The failure weighing to heavily on his mind, Vayne couldn't focus enough to make handseals. Vayne yelled to his master, " A little help couldn't hurt!" He wanted to be respectful, but he couldn't think about anything but avoiding death.

OOC: I'm trying to set this up, so you have something to do, AND so I have something to practice still.
Ballian

(occ:hope ya don't mind its more a pass/watching post)

Ballian arrived in middle of the forest of Fire country after traveling from the wind country still wanting to head towards the village hidden in the rice country hoping to find megume,He slowly walked as he noticed two shinobi's onward fighting each other and he watched them with curiosity and jumped up on a branch with his chakra being fully hidden as he then slowly pulled out his banjo.

He sat there looking as he played a slow musical theme as he continue to watch them fight as he smiled and then he slowly plucked a few strings and started to play as it faded into the darkness which surrounded the forest as he smiled and watched them continuously fight.
airknight12

occ: lol ballian were training Vayne is my student. I also love the redudency of your post. Rolling Eyes

IC: "HAHAHAHAH" Kishi just started laughing. He moved his feet forward and got with in 6 feet of the tree. Looking up at his falling student He judged the landing point as he would not fall straight down from that hight. If he did it would definatly be strange. Then when Vayne got close enough He jumped up and grabbed him in his arm's and landed sofly on the balls of his feet.

The outlaw started laughing again and layed on his back. "Wow Im a twisted Person laughing at my student who about died. Still I cant help but crack up at your helpless state, you have so much to learn. Now stand and begin once more." Kishi Rolled the boy off of him and stood up then pointed to a tall tree about 300 feet tall. It was a medium sized tree for this part of the woods. "climb that one to the top and then come back down it. Dont be afraid your else you will never accomplish it."

occ: i like the new rules but i think the training time is a bit off in my opinon but it does make the site better than when we majicly had new jutsus.
Vayne Kanekage

OOC: Air, I am about to do 5 solo post...this is takin' way to long

IC: Vayne looked blankly at his master, as he thought to himself, "What a jerk..." He shook his head as he stood plume, facing the decent sized tree. Channeling his chakra into his feet, Vayne began to run towards the tree, as he scaled it with ease. Getting up the tree was now simple, as Vayne had now almost reached the canopy of the tree. He grabbed for the top branch, as he rotated himself, landing on top of the branch. He thought to himself, "What a breeze." He stood there for a moment, as he began to concemplate on getting down. He looked over the edge again, as he began to slid back towards the trunk of the tree.
Vayne Kanekage

Again, Vayne jumped from the branch, as his feet grasped the soft bark of the tree. He grimace of a look was on his face, as he marched down the tree. He thought to himself, "Control the chakra, concentrate...just get it steady." Almost halfway down the tree, Vayne could feel his grip weaken on the skin of the tree. Unlike last time the Missing-nin was prepared. He swirled around quickly, as he grabbed a lower branch, and spun himself on it. He sat down on the branch, as he gave a deep sigh and bellowed, "A few more times...and it will be mine." It was amazing, even with so many failures, the boy kept the faith. He gathered himself, as he stood, and began to gallop back up the tree, from where he had lost his footing.
Vayne Kanekage

As he marched back up the tree, Vayne began to feel, his mastery over it. It was getting down, that was the problem. He continued to inhale breath, as he began to pivot on the tree, managing his footwork in a different way. He swirled around the tree, as he again reached the top of the canopy. The wind blew, as his hair began to dance, like black flames on top of his head. He thought to himself, "I almost got it...I can feel it." Vayne jumped off the branch, as he again gripped the tree, and began go back down the tree, in a vertical alignment. As he got to his last mark, where he fell, he thought to himself, "This time...its MINE!" A furrowed look crossed Vayne's face, as he began to work his chakra harder, as he zoomed faster down the tree. His concentration was absolute this time, as he had made it just below the halfway mark. Vayne's arms pumped with agility, as a bead of sweet, ran down his forehead. There it was...the green ground, the destination which Vayne would make it too. He stretched his arm, as he did a forward handspring, as he touched the ground.
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne jumped around excitedly, as an overwhelming joy swept threw his system. He soon cut it out, as he remembered who he stood before. He stood erect, as he realized the sweat that was dripping down his face. Pulling out a rag, Vayne wiped his face, as he looked at a taller tree. He turned towards Kishi, as he said in a low voice, "I'm goin' for it." Moving himself to the bigger tree, Vayne thought to himself, "Time to try somethin a little different." Vayne again began to gather his chakra, as he began to scale the wide willow oak. As he reached nearly the one-fourth mark of the tree, Vayne did a handspring backwards, as he landed among another tree and began to go up it. His chakra again slipped, as he reached for the branch nearest him. With his hand gripped around the tree, Vayne sat there, swinging back and fourth, like a small monkey. He thought to himself, "Hrm"
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne snapped his left hand, as he rotated his right hand, gaining enough momentum to put himself on top of the branch. He sat there for a second, reflecting on the jutsu, that had tripped him up so many times already. He thought to himself, "Why give up now...I've already worked to hard...I've mastered going up and down the tree...now all I have to do is learn to jump from tree to tree." He stood to his feet quickly, as he jumped from the tree, landing on the ground squarely. Taking in breath, Vayne began to funnel his chakra again, as he ran back up the tree. He worked his arms and legs, as he rose up the tree, ever higher. Springing backwards, Vayne landed on another tree, as he began to channel his chakra again. He thought to himself, "Concentrate...." He was growing ever closer to a complete victory in this jutsu. His face began to glow a scarlet red, as he continued to exceed to new heights. The ex-leaf shinobi could now see the sun through the canopy of the tree. Not a smirk crossed his face, as he grabbed for the highest branch on the tree. He thought to himself, "Gotcha." His fingertips, wrapped around the branch, as he threw himself among it. A smile now slid across Vayne's face, as he looked down at Kishi, who was now three trees away. He began to slump on the tree, as he realized all the chakra he had excerted, using the tree climbing jutsu so much. Though he wasn't nearly out, he knew he only had about a half a tank. Vayne's eyes closed, as he fell asleep against the soft bark.

OOC: I'm done, I need a mod to check this.
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne awoke only moments later, unable to sleep through his excitement. A smirk quickly crossed his face, as he base jumped from the tree, letting his jet black hair flutter in the oncoming winds. He again gripped the tree, as he spiraled around the tree, an ear to ear grin on his face. He thought to himself, "This is so easy now." He hopped from tree to tree, with brilliant speed, as he came to a halt, stilling himself on the trunk of a moss covered tree. Vayne eyed Kishi, as began to flip a kunai in his hand, while still stuck to the tree. He began to laugh heartily, his black pupils dancing with laughter. He pointed at Kishi as he bellowed, "Thanks for the help...but I think I deserve, just a little credit." Vayne flipped off of the tree, as he landed on his feet, getting his feel for the ground back.
Ballian

IC:Ballian looked at him as he was learning tree climbing jutsu,He was gonna laugh but he slowly continued to play his song then the seams of the beat seemed to get louder and louder as they we're able to hear it,He continued slowly to play but quite loud now,He smiled as he watched them as he then stopped and jumped down and landed on his left foot then right after he watched them and heard him say."thanks for the help..."as he looked at the other guy.

He wanted to burst out laughing at how he said that to the guy who nearly killed him even when he admited to it when he arrived there,yawned as he stretched and looked at the both of them."Man this village has gotten boring over the years..."he said as he was sitting cross legged on the ground as he was tuning his banjo as he got up and continued to head to rice country.

OCC:exit post btw.
Zeke Jamora

OOC: Vayne's training is complete. Kinobori has been officially mastered.
airknight12

occ; na your just impatient lol but we have to get on at the same time at one point. I wont be on much tommarow thou.

IC:

Kishi just layed on his back and watched as his young student kept attempting to master this jutsu that was quite helpfull. He already knew what to do next with this kid thou. Kishi loved the determination and will power this kid had. It caused him to wonder how far vayne would go under his teachings.

"Yes way to go. Even if i showed you each step You wouldnt have learned it if you werent a onry little shit." Kishi chuckled a bit and stood to his feet to look at his student. "welp here comes the fun part. Now that you have Mastered this lets do something a bit different. I'll train you by both of us fighting only using a Kunai. The looser is the first to touch the ground. You have to stay on the tree's and fight, got it?"

Kishi drew a Kunai from his summoning scroll and then rolled it back up, placing it on his back. He then faced a tree and ran up it half way with ease. Turing to face down towards the ground. "lets begin and remember its one kunai so you cant toss it."
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne chuckled a little bit as he bellowed, "Okay....just know what your getting into." A smirk crossed his face, as he thought to himself, "I may only get one kunai, but I can still throw it, because I can bring it back to me...he must have forgotten that." Vayne scrambled back up the tree, as he awaited Kishi, on one of the highest branches. He withdrew a kunai, as he began to flip it through the air. Vayne was no chicken wuss, and he would not back down from this challenge, no matter how good, or how experience his opponent was, even his new master. He shouted, "Well, what are you waiting for Kishi, Afraid your gonna lose." He had to win, for if he did, Vayne would have bragging rights, which was all that mattered.
airknight12

"Scarred to loose, No I just like having fun" Kishi started using his clan’s skill of stealth known as the Leaf walk. Which would help him move with out being detected (this is not a jutsu). The shinobi ran up his tree to the top, above vayne and did a back flip off of it. This placed him in line at a angle with Vayne. The Kunai was pointing directly towards his target in a thrusting moment. Thanks to the double edged Ability thou he could still slash if need be. As he got with in range which took less than a second, Kishi used his right hand which was free to stick to the tree and swing down at his student. Dropping the kunai and then sucking it to his foot with chakra, He kicked at the Young Shinobi, going towards the base of the neck and chest.
Vayne Kanekage

As Kishi began his attack on Vayne, the young shinobi bent his back, as he avoided the kick from his master. He was now standing on his hands and legs, as Vayne thrusted his legs backwards (in a handspring motion), attempting to kick Kishi in his face. In mid-flip, Vayne pocketed his kunai, with his right hand, and rotated around the branch with left hand, which was still planted on the tree branch. He was now on at the back of Kishi, where he released the branch, and did a 180 degree, spin, drawing the kunai, sending it zooming at Kishi. Sticking to the tree that lied directly behind Kishi, Vayne put both legs securely on the bark, as he siphoned through handseals, controlling the kunai, making it zoom back into his grasp. Vayne whispered to himself, "Flawless."

OOC: I threw the kunai at your back, which I'm guessing you'll avoid, then I made it come back, so it could try and hit again.
airknight12

occ: Got it, Intresting Idea lol.

Ic:

Tojiro pulled him self to the tree as his attack missed and flipped hi kunai back into his hand with his boot, deflecting the kunai with the blade then jumping off the tree as it came again. He wanted to try something out, even thou he could have just blocked it like he did before. "aw play like that shall we?" Kishis snickered as he fell through the air. He quickly used a chain and attached it to the kunai and then landed on a branch placing him below his student. "again"

Kishi jumped into the air, clining to the tree they were on origonally and then using his chain like a whip to strike through the tree, crushing what was above him causing it to fall to the right. The wip was then pulled back in a way for the kunai to head towards Vayne.
Vayne Kanekage

Quote:

OOC Why would I be in the air?
airknight12

occ: i jumped on the tree that your on but im below you. When i tore through the tree above me, with the chain. you would have to jump or something.
Vayne Kanekage

Vayne followed the movement of Kishi, as he jump to the tree to his left, avoiding the collapse of the tree, where he once stood. A grin crossed his face, as he bellowed, "Better plan somethin' better than that..." He ran down the tree, as he jumped back to the tree he just left, as he was on even level with Kishi now. With swung around the trunk of the tree, as he flung his legs, releasing his left arm, trying to pierce Kishi with the kunai. As he did this, he threw his right leg in the direction of Kishi's stomach.
airknight12

occ: i send the chain at you but o well lol

IC; "good your finally attacking me?" Kishi smiled and grabbed for the left hand of kishi. If he got a hold he would quickly bind it in a way to pull his student off the branch and then drop him or some other form of submission. While this was going on, Kishi pulled his wip back in quickly rapping it around his students leg and then pulling to shread the skin and cut him with the kunai. "at what point did i say i was trying" Kishi just laughed as this all was happening. He wanted to do so much more but under the rules he set he couldnt, other wise this would be over rather quickly. He still had the advantage of more chakra, chakra control, and experince with this technique.

occ: if you have aproblem with the chain part ill change it. AN itds not deep shreading but it will hurt.
Vayne Kanekage

As Vayne launched himself from the tree, a chain wrapped around his leg, as he was brung back to the rough bark of the tree. He thought to himself, "Crap...these are my good pants...." He watched as blood slowly trickled out of the small wound. Vayne twirled his kunai, as he cut the chain from his leg. As he dropped (since the chain got cut), Vayne gripped the tree with his legs, as he swung himself back up, into Kishi. He bellowed, "Lets go!" He threw the kunai, a small diversion, as he continued to run up the tree, throwing a left kick, followed by a right hook to Kishi's ribs. Making handseals, the kunai came back to him, zooming back past Kishi.
airknight12

occ: its to thick to cut but it is away from you now.

Ic: the chain was pulled loose and now the Genin was moderatly damaged. That would make it harder to stick to the trees, and focus the chakra since he had to deal with the pain. Kishi desided to let the on coming kunai hit him because he had a better plan. It sliced his left shoulder slightly then it came back and he reached out and plucked it from the air. he then slashed out at the on coming kick and jumped back to be grazed by the upper cut. All done on purpose to keep from being harmed but stay close enought to attack. Kish pulled the chain wip back around to attempt to catch it around the body of the boy and then shread him some more.

OOC: I don't feel like switching profiles...and our SR RPC's have somewhere to be, so I'll fall.

IC: A smirk appeared on Vayne's face, but soon faded, as he was unattentive of the next attack. He was harshly out of chakra, as he tried to cling to the tree. He began to slip, as the chain cut through his shirt, sending him spiraling to the ground. Jabbing the kunai into the tree, Vayne attempted to slow himself, as he landed on the ground softly, the kunai still in the tree. He thought to himself, "I blew it..." A frown came across Vayne's face, as he sat down, and began to pull up grass. After a few moments, Vayne fell to the ground, asleep, exhausted from the chakra consumption. As he dreamt, he hoped that Kishi would still have him, even though he fell from the tree.
airknight12

Kishi sighed and jumped down spinning into a ball to slow him self and then coming out to land upon his feet. "your still clumbsy but you'll get better" Kishi pulled out some ointment from his pack and put it on the wounds. then rapped it in gause.

Kishi felt something start to pull him or draw him some where....Some where near. He wasnt sure of what it was but he picked up his student and pack; rapped up his chains and started in the direction of what was pulling him.

occ: ok lol this was fun thou i cant wait tell your next training sessions.
wise_ninja

A dark streak ran through the glimmers of sunlight that could make it through the dense treetops. Soft feet landed on a treebranch high in the air. Deep steady breathes were being drawn in and out. Inhale. Exhale. The feet landed on the next branch. A figure stood in the shadows of one of the many tall trees of this unknown forest. She took deep slow breathes, hoping to keep her heart steady enough for her to run much farther. The girl's back was pushed against the sturdy heart of the massive tree. Her head was also against the tree. She surveyed her surroundings with her silver green eyes. Her face was scratched and covered with dirt. She had light blonde hair, even in the shadows, which was tyed back in many small and numerous ponytails. Around her neck she wore what looked to be a ninja headband, but it didn't hold a metal plate which usually indicated which ninja academy she graduated from. Her chest rose and fell. She wore a type of garment that used to be white with orange and light blue designs on it, but now it was torn and dirty. It was good for training in, but if it was clean, it could also be used as a good around-town outfit.
'Time to go.'
She started to run from tree branch to tree branch, her small black shoed feet hitting the branches, barely making a sound. The girl hadn't eaten very recently because of all the large ferocious animals that filled this forest. They were everywhere and they seemed to hate the presence of humans, however, this was the only way that she knew to go. She'd rather be able to hide in tall treetops than having to walk down a road to reach the next town. Though she thought this to be the best way, it came with many consequences. She couldn't eat while she was lost in the forest, and now she was paying for it. She stopped again on another branch only about 17 feet from the first stop. She hunched over and put her hands on her knees. She panted and panted from lack of oxygen. Because she couldn't eat, she was becoming weaker and she had to rest more often. If she wasn't careful, she may get caught by something.
'I have to keep moving!'
She started to run again, but now she felt dizzy and her body swayed and felt very shaky and unsure. This was getting really bad. Around her waist, she had a pouch that she kept knives and other small weapons in. She drew out one of her few kunai knives and held it in her right hand. If she were to fall, maybe she could catch herself by digging into the closest tree with this kunai knife, possibly slowing down her body so that when she hit the ground she wasn't dead or seriously injured. This wasn't a very well planned out plan, but it would have to do, because she'd decided there would be no more breaks. She continued to run. Then it happened. Her vision became extremely blurry, and her head felt fuzzy. She had been in midjump, but now she couldn't see the branch up ahead. Her legs had lost their strength on the last jump so she was sure that she wouldn't slam into the branch, but she was more worried about slamming into the ground! Her mind went blank, and her vision was gone. Her body became completely limp and she started to fall, the knife fell from her hand.

OOC: I'll join since I have nothing else better to do. I apologize in advance for my awful writing.

IC: Great paws lifted upwards and caught the falling mass of limbs. He held the young girl gently, looking at her fair face. Worry was ripe in his eyes, even though hidden behind the mask. " Little one..." He said, his soft strong voice rolling over her, filled with deep concern. He took her, and held her tight to him. His legs pumped underneath him as he began a steady jog out of the forest.

A million thoughts raced through his mind, the forefront being how much he remembered his medical training. Decades often washed away memories. The techniques were lost to him including the diagnosis. He feared that she might be seriously ill, and that they would not make it to the hospital. Another death on his hands... The sins would soon not be repentable.

His legs pumped faster, his eyes shone, as he stepped up his pace through the deep forest. The trees and leaves bowed to get out of this great man's way, for no one could stop a giant.

OOC: I thought that was good! *smiles*

BIC: "Enon! Hey Enon!"
The brillant sun was setting and that could only mean one thing.
"Enon, we have to get ready!"
A young girl wore a pale pink kimono and black sandles. She had long light blonde hair, fair skin, and large silver green eyes. She had been sitting on a rooftop in a town she didn't know the name of.
"But Mommy, can't we stay alittle longer!" The young girl begged. The sun was so beautiful here. Out of all the many different villages she'd been in, the sunsets here were the most wonderful.
"Enon, we can't do that. Sweety, you're smart enough to know by now that at sunset of--"
"The fifth day we have to pack up and move on. I know Mom."
"See! You even listen and remember what I say. I knew you were a smart and special kid, Enon."
Sadly, the young girl stood. She knew her mother's saying, but she didn't understand it. Why did they always leave on the fifth day at sunset? It made no sense to the seven year old. She and her mother began to climb down from the roof. Enon had been listening to all the people talking in the town. The next day would be a large festival, filled with games and food and lots of fun. There'd be many people around. Enon hated the thought of missing such a wonderful event. She did what she thought was right. She stopped walking. Her mother and her had been on the main road out of town. Her mother turned around confused.
"What's wrong Enon?"
"Mom...Why do we have to leave town? The festival's tomorrow and I was wanting to go and play with everyone in the village like I belonged here. Like every other kid...I was making friends, Mommy. I even promised Kaiko that I'd play with her during the festival. Why do we have to leave on the fifth day when I'm starting to make friends!"
Enon had tears streaming from her eyes and down her cheeks.
"Enon...Enon I--"
Enon didn't want to hear it. She turned from her mother and ran. She ran and ran. She was never going to leave! She could never leave the day before the festival! She wasn't going to be the one to cause so much pain to her new friend! Enon kept running and running. The tears made her eyes sting. She tried to wipe them away and run at the same time, but someone jumped in front of her and grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Lemme go! Lemme go!"
"Enon, I know you don't want to leave but we need to go now."
"No! No, I won't leave! I'm going to stay here forever!"
Her mother knelt down to Enon's level and continued to hold her arms. Tears rolled from her mother's green eyes. She embraced Enon in a hug and began to cry. Watching her mom cry, made Enon cry, too. They cried together in the middle of the street with the warmth of the setting sun washing over them both.
In a choked voice her mother said, "Enon, I know it hurts to leave, but *sniff* we can't stay. We don't belong here! We belong--*sniff*--We belong back home. One day, we're going back to the village and you're going to be so happy that you didn't stay here."
Her mother took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. Enon was listening intently, so she no longer had to be held down.
"We leave at sunset on the fifth day, because it's the best day. You're too young to understand now, but someday, I hope you'll understand and even if you don't, I'll be there to explain it. Please, Enon, just trust me. This is for the best."
Those last words echoed to Enon even at such a young age. Even if she couldn't understand, her mother would always be there to explain it when she was ready. Or was she?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enon's head was spinning and her vision was still useless.
'I'll be there to explain it. Trust me'
The words echoed deep inside her mind. A soft wimper escaped her and a tear slid from her closed eyes.
'I'll be there'
Another tear. Then another. The words wouldn't leave her mind. Her mom had lied. Enon was alone, her mother wasn't there.
A quiet whisper escaped her lips.
"Mommy..."
Tears continued to stream down her dirt drenched face as the dream and those last words continued to replay over and over again in her still unconscience mind.
IC: He looked down, and saw that she was sweating heavily. She was having pain induced dreams, most likely flash backs to her past. He felt helpless as she swirled through what haunted her living days. He drenched a small handkercheif with water from his canteen, and pressed it against her forehead.
" Halten Sie an, kleines," He said in the mother tongue. He sounded so soft, comforting. " Alle es ist gut bald." He began running again, his legs stampeding heavily into the packed ground. His mind was at rest; the old tongue always calmed him. He was right; it would all be alright soon.
OOC: "Hold on little one. It will all be alright soon." That's what he said in German.
It was hot. It was burning hot! It felt like there was fire everywhere!
'I can't breathe...I can't breathe...' Everything was pitch black. What was going on? There was no light or relief to this painful burning. ((this is all happening in her mind, not real life)) Enon sat up and looked around.
'Where am I?' All her scratches and wounds were healed. Even, her clothes looked brand new and clean. Still, it felt like she was melting. She blinked and scratched her head, trying to stay calm.
"Hello?" She called into the darkness, completely unsure and alone. Enon let her hand fall back to her side. She gasped and looked down. Aside from floating in a realm of darkness, something was wrong. The headband that she wore around her neck was gone.
Enon jumped up and started looking around for it, but it was too dark for her to see. She clutched her throat and collapsed, struggling to breath. Even though she couldn't breath, she didn't care. All that matters is her blue headband. Her eyes stung and her throat burned. She closed her right eye trying to concentrate.
'Where is it? I have to find it!' One hand was still at her throat as she started crawling around through the darkness. The air was thick and nearly impossible to breath. The farther she crawled, the hotter it seemed to get. A harsh pain shot through Enon's body. She doubled-over and started coughing. It felt as if she were dieing! It couldn't end like this. Not yet! Slowly though, her resistance was failing, and her hope was dwindling.
'It's no use. It's hopeless. I'll never find it...' She wanted to go home. Even if it meant going alone. There was no way she could find it. Never... Suddenly, light shot up around her. She looked up to see what was going on. Her heart dropped. Far ahead of her floated her headband. It was surrounded by fire.
It looked as if it were on the edge of a cliff formed of shadows, and the valley below was a sea of flames.
"No..." She whispered. Deep down, she knew what was about to happen, but she didn't care. She couldn't lose that headband! She started to run as fast as she could toward the edge of that cliff. The flames shot up high around her and it looked like they were going to swallow her if she tried to reach the cliff. She stumbled on the thick air, but she regained her balance and continued to run. The flames roared as she got closer to the cliff.
'It's not going to end like this! Not yet!' She was almost there! She could see over the cliff! The pillars of flames hissed at her, and they made their move. They looked like giant flaming snakes as they charged at her. One wrapped around her ankle, and she fell. As soon as she hit the ground, more flaming ropes covered her body and restricted her movements. At the edge of the cliff, wind blew and the blue headband started to inch closer and closer to the edge.
"NOOO!" Enon struggled to get free, but it was no use! With all her might, she freed one hand. She knew it was impossible but still, she reached out with the hand towards the headband that was starting to fall over the edge and into the fire. Enon's scream rang out and echoed in the dark world. It fell...The headband disappeared over the cliff. Enon just stared, her eyes unfocused at the spot where the headband fell. This couldn't be happening...
Suddenly, a dark streak shot up out of the flame filled valley. Enon had been so distraught from seeing her headband fall, that she didn't even realise that the flames that'd held her were gone. The dark form landed and started walking towards her. It looked like a cloaked man, his face hidden by the same shadows that already surrounded her. In an instant, he was infront of her. He kneeled and extended his hand. In his hand, was Enon's blue headband. He spoke words that Enon had never heard before.
"Halten Sie an, kleines. Alle es ist gut bald."
~~~~~~~
The intense fire disappeared, and Enon felt cool air rushing past her. Even though her eyes were closed, she could tell that it was light outside. Her head throbbed, and the changing light didn't help. Sunlight, shadow, sunlight, shadow. It never seemed to end. Even with the help of the cooler air rushing around her, Enon felt like she was on fire. She was still sweating from that dark room filled with fire. Enon felt like she was moving, but she knew she wan't running. She grunted and tried to open her eyes.
Her vision was very blurry as she watched the forest canopy wizzing by her. Now at least, she knew where the freaky lights were coming from. Closer to her, she saw a dark figure. It looked a man, but he was too blurry for Enon to recognize. Still, something seemed familiar about him. Suddenly, an idea hit her! She did know him! She wasn't sure how, but this was the man who'd saved her headband from the valley of fire! Enon felt very weak, but she tried to smile as a happy tear ran down her face.
"Thank you." She whispered softly before passing out again.

He smiled softly, his gaunt features lit up with a bit of happiness, like the sun showing through the pastel clouds. Her speech showed that her fever was lifting, if only slightly. She would be able to survive, but only if he hurried. A moment later, it all came crashing down.

The sounds of tree branches and explosions rattled his strong body. He fell to the ground, covering the girl's body with his. Rocks pelted him, as the explosions continued. A final, grand explosion threw him high into the air, a man in the angry sea, tossed around like a rag doll. He smashed hard into the back of a tree. He groaned, falling straight for the ground. Shadowy men stood in front of him, three.

He tried pulling himself up, but was impaled with kunai before bringing himself fully upright. He fell to his knees and hands, unable to bring himself upwards. Thoughts raced through his mind during this time of assured death. How he should have left before they found him, what he would become without finishing his duty, how would Hell compare to this life. But, most prominent was what would happen to the girl when he died. He simply could not allow her to die.

With a great bear roar, he lifted his bulky mass to a slouched standing position. Steel rained upon him, cutting and slashing every which way. He only growled loudly and stepped forward. More weapons stuck into his skin, bleeding him out from every angle. The fierce determination in his eyes told his enemies of their doom. They saw no escape, and rushed forward, thinking the three of them together had the advantage. The fools would soon learn otherwise.

His eyes almost seemed to glow with an evil aura. His crooked teeth pulled up into an eerie grin. He threw off his cloak and pulled his gloves tighter, waiting for the impending doom. The three assailants came within range, stabbing forward. The glint of metal was there only hint, before the grand scythe mawed them down. He whipped it out, horizantally slashing, ripping through the sides of all three men in a devastating circle. The blood and entrails dragged along with the blade. They were obviously dead as he pulled back, but he was not done. He dropped the scythe, and walked up to them. His began pulling off each of their limbs, revelling in the sickening crunch of their bones snapping off.

OOC: you just did XD

Enon layed in a small patch of sunlight. She had cuts all over her, and rocks were scattered all around her. When she landed, her head hit the ground hard. Usually, this would just knock someone out even more, but not with Enon. Her green eyes slowly opened, but her vision was hazy.
What happened? She tried to sit up, scratching her head as she did. Then she froze. There in front of her was a horrible sight. She staggered while standing. In some shadows stood the man who'd rescued her. He was ripping off the limbs of three unknown people. There was blood everywhere. On the ground beside the man was a scythe. This was bad. This was really bad! Enon knew she was too weak to fight or even try to save the men, also she had no idea what was going on. She did the only thing she could think of. She turned and ran, a sharp pain going through her left leg. She knew that the village couldn't be too far ahead. I have to do something! I have to get help! Enon ran as fast as she could with an injured leg. Worst case, her leg was broken, but she didn't care. She had to do something. As she ran, she stepped on a stick. She cringed as it snapped loudly.
