Team Tamotsu's First Mission

Tamotsu had been waiting by the village gate with Jaken who had been sleeping on the floor. Tamotsu rolled his eyes at the gray wolf and felt the urge to kick him. He had come to detest Jaken's laziness in training and in life but admired his resolve when the time came to fight.

"These new members need to get here or I'm ripping the necks in half. AND GET YOUR ASS UP YOU LAZY F***ING WOLF!" Tamotsu yelled.

Prowl NightWolf

A Screech from two birds could be heard in the distance. Moments later they arived. Tamotsu could see that the first was Airazor and the second, that is now circling, was also Airazor. As the first reached him it poofed into a cloud of smoke and ther was Kodo standing there. He must have used his Transformation Jutsu to turn into Airazor. Moments later the real Airazor landed on Kodo's arm. "Sorry we're late Sensei. Airazor had to grab a bite to eat. So what is are first mission?"

Tamotsu growled and did the flying jump kick, known as Dynamic Entry, to Kodo and sent him flying.

"BAKA! DON'T Waste time! Besides, where's the other? I wonder if anyone saw my notice." Tamotsu sighed.

Sench

OOC: you can't use henge to transform into animals

IC: Rosu came to the gathering place soon after. She was not a Konoha shinobi, but while she was stuck here with her sensei training Saya, she decided she could do something useful. She sweat dropped when she saw the other two participants, as one of them kicked the other. And I am supposed to work with these idiots? God give me strength. Hello, - she said, bowing slightly, - You must the team leader for the mission... hey, I know you. You were there when that big guy was stalking that other genin... remember? You've gone a fair way since then. My name is Rosu, what's yours? - she asked, turning to the kicked genin.

"Hah. I remember you. You're Rosu. And yea. I became a Jounin in the long time after I left you guys. You seem to have become stronger yourself. I'm sure you'll make a fine Konoichi one day. What brings you here? Going home?"

Tamotsu smiled as he looked at Rosu. Then his attention adverted to Kodo.

"Oh, sorry about that. Being a new sensei... is hard work." He laughed nevously as Jaken looked at him and bit his leg. "AHHHH! WHAT THE HELL!?" Tamotsu looked at the wolf who went back to sleep.

Anoki sped into the area with his new taijutsu skills. He stopped right in front of Tamotsu. "I need to work on stopping... Anoki Ito, reporting!" he said. He looked around and saw a new face. "Who are you?" he asked Rosu.

Sench

OOC: typing in "darkviolet" every time is tiring. I'm gonna use violet from now on

I'm someone who will kick your ass if you keep being so impolite, - said Rosu, grinning at the boy, - Name's Rosu. She brushed a few strands of hair from her face and smiled towards Tamotsu. Well, is this everybody? I was getting bored with my sensei training my sister all the while, so I just joined to have some fun. What she was actually thinking is about how the boys would react to her. She was a very well-developed fifteen year old girl, and knew how males usually reacted to her. It was partially gross, but partially she enjoyed it.

Anoki gave Rosu an angry eye. Oh great, a princess who is bent on their ego. Perfect. he thought to himself. "Okay, I don't care if you are a girl. If you get egotistical, I will smash you with the force of a demon. And if I were you I would take that VERY litterally. Got it?" he explained hatefully. He turned to Tamotsu. "So when is this mission starting?"

IC: "Before we get to the mission at hand, don't patronize me, Kodo. Further more, you don't know a damn thing, jutsu-wise. We will move out from our current position and move along through the forest. We will camp for 6 days while we await the arrival of some deer. In that time I will teach you some basics. For those of you who are advanced, we will learn something much different."

Tamotsu said softly as he looked at Jaken and petted him.

"We're moving out now. Let's go!" Tamotsu said as he walked forward.

Sench

Rosu snickered at Anoki's comment. He was threatening her, and it was funny. I'd like to see you try, boy, - she said, looking provokingly at him. The whole gathering was a bunch of idiots in her opinion. How were they going to hunt without any hunting equipment? Throwing kunai at deers would be absolutely useless, they would only harm the creatures but they'd still get away. She was the only one properly equipped. However, she just shrugged and followed Tamotsu when he started walking.

Prowl NightWolf

Kodo looked at the other two out of the corner of his eye. "I would like to see him try as well. See what this girl can really do" Kodo thought to himself. Looking on the ground he noticed some of his arrows that must have fallen out. Picking them up, he returned them to his quiver and made sure they were secured tightly. He didn’t want any more falling out wile they were on the hunt. He also checked his other items to ensure they were all accounted for. “Let’s see: 10 arrows, 1 bow, 12 shuriken, one Wakizashi, and my bag of feathers. Everything seems to be here.”

Looking up he sees Tamotsu-sensei and Rosu leaving the village. He quickly returned his Quiver to one side of his waist and his sword on the other. He also returned his shuriken and feathers to his fanny pack. With everything in its proper place he signals to Airazor that they are moving out and runs to catch up with the other two.

Anoki glared at Rosu again. "Don't provoke me. I knew two of the Sannin when they were Chunin. Ask them, I am a demon." he growled.

AJ Gray

"ENOUGH! This childish bickering will come to an end now. For now, you are all a team and I will not allow your vicious and snide remarks continue to degrade the team as a whole. You want to fight? Wait till the mission is done and we all go our seperate ways. Otherwise, bite your damn tongues and keep it moving. Or i'll bite it for you! Understood? Good."

Tamotsu saud furiously as he walked forward along the road. They had walked for hours on said road and the sun had begun to set. "I think we shall camp here." Tamotsu said as he pointed to a small clearing in a thick grouping of trees. He walked over to it with Jaken following close behind.

Sench

Rosu simply ignored what Anoki said. At first it was fun, watching him get angry at her, but now it was just annoying. At least the team captain and Kodo aren't such morons... - she thought. She wondered if he was trying to brag, cause it didn't work. It didn't do him much honor that he knew two sannin when they were still chuunin. Because that meant while they advanced a great deal, he did not at all. I guess he's just your average boy who thinks if he's a ninja he is allowed to make stupid threats. How lame, - Rosu thought, walking alongside her captain for this mission. It was getting late when he said they would camp. She just shrugged and followed him. This mission was a walk in the park that was Fire Country, nothing more.

ooc: I think we may need some work on posting order. It seems even thought we each take a turn posting, it is never in the same order. Like it will go: AJ Gray, Sench, Shinobee32, Prowl. Then it will be AJ Grey, Sench, Prowl, Shinobee32. Next time it mite be: Prowl, AJ Grey, Shinobee32, Sench. We each get our turn but it is out of order.

ic: Airazor flew overhead watching the ninjas below. He stayed higher up to keep an eye out for any roge ninja that may be trying to sneek up on them. Seeing a rusling of a bush, he locked his eyes on that location. Out from the bush came a snow rabit. Airazor thought to himself. Looks like dinner is served. Banking hard right, he cuffed his wings and divebombed his target. The poor rabit wouldn't know what hit him. Mer feet from crashing into the rabit, Airazor opened his wings and shifted his weight opening his talons. Landing hard he struck his prey, talons wide, around the neck and back. The rabit died instantly as its body was pirced by the raptor's strong talons.

Kodo looked into the air to signal Airazor that we are seting up camp, only to see his partner divebomb out of the sky. "Tamotsu-sensei, I think Airazor just found us Dinner! I shall converge on his location and see what it is." Without waiting for an answer he left for Airazors location. Opon ariving he'd seen his Nin-falcon standing over a dead rabit. "Well maybe this will be enought. I don't think it will fill the bellies of everyone. I think Jaken could eat this whole thing himself." Kodo picked up the rabit by its ears and walked back to camp...

Anoki went to out to the forest and trained his taijutsu a little bit.

(OOC: We're gonna do a time skip. To the following day.)

Tamotsu awoke the next morning standing upside down from the tree limb he was on. Jaken had been scouting around slowly sniffing the ground.

"Found anything yet? Or are you just sniffing around for shits and giggles? Hurry up and do your job properly." Tamotsu said as Jaken backed back at him. "Don't give me that excuse. You know how to track and find prey. Find some damn deer so we can go home! It's the perfect time of the day for them."

Tamotsu fell down and poof away and ended up a few feet ahead on the ground, feet first. Jaken barked loudly and Tamotsu nodded.

"Rise and shine, Kiddos!" Tamotsu smiled widely.

Sench

Rosu was already up and tracking her prey when Tamotsu woke up her temporary teammates. She wondered what the wolf was actually doing, since there was a deer not so far away from their position. She watched it with her left, artificial eye. The girl smiled and reached for her bow. It was an easy target, not moving as it drank from a small nearby lake. The string creaked slightly as Rosu took aim and pulled it back. A few seconds of aiming, and she let go of the arrow, which whizzed in the direction of the deer. The animal raised its head, alerted by the sound, but it was already too late. One down, several more to go, - she thought, climbing down the tree and heading in the direction of the killed animal.

Prowl NightWolf

Kodo looked down from the tree he'd been sitting in. He and Airazor had already been up for several hours. He was feeding Airazor some meat from a kill they made earlier. Releasing Airazor into the air, Kodo bent back and dropped out of the tree. After a single backflip wile falling he landed in front of his sensei. "We are ready to begin when ever you are ready Tamotsu-sensei."

Airazor circled wide as he usually does. He'd seen Rosu come from uder the cover of a tree and head for the nearby lake. Looking in the general direction He sees the downed dear. Banking to his right he flys down and lands on Kodo's arm, then tells of what he's seen.

Kodo listened to his Falcon companion then looked at Tamotsu-sen. "It looks like the only female member of our little team is ahead in the game. Airazor here tells me that Rosu is converging on a downed dear."

Anoki opened his eyes in an annoyed way. He blinked and was wide awake now. He popped up martial arts style and looked around. He checked his weaponry stash. Everything was in order. "I'm up now... sorry that was obvious, anyhow time to hunt." He ran at his new death-defying speed and scouted for deer. He spotted a deer nearby and readied to attack. Ran at the deer and leaped up to deliver a bone breaking blow to the creature's spinal area. It died instantly. He heard some nearby deer rustling the leaves. He readied four shurikens and aimed at the creature once he saw it. He threw them and they all homed in on it and slaughtered it. He threw the deer over his shoulder and walked back to camp. He dropped the deer on the ground near Tamotsu and ran off again.

"Sigh." Tamotsu said softly as he looked at Kodo and rolled his eyes. "They're working hard already, Kodo. You might not have the advantages they have but you are strong. Try your best to find a fawn and bring it down. And try to do it... tastefully. Not like Anoki-kun. Bring me one at least and I will train you personally."

Tamotsu looked at Jaken who dropped a deer in front of him. Tamotsu rolled his eyes and transformed into Jaken and the two ran off, chasing down a deer in the distance.

Anoki glared in the direction of Tamotsu. "I heard that you jerk. I'd kick your ass if you weren't squad leader!" Anoki decided to show HIM taste. He waited at a lake until a group of deer came for a drink. He made a series of hand seals. Rat, tiger, dog, ox, hare, tiger. He unleashed a large number of small but powerful fireballs. They all spiraled in a formation and they all hit their mark one after the other deer fell. He stacked them all on his back and walked to the best of his ability to camp and dropped them off. "Hmph... tastless my demonic ass."

Sench

Rosu brought the deer back to the camp. She had already took the arrow out of the poor creature's head. This mission is so boring, - she said, - I thought I could at least enjoy the trip, you know, with the nature and all, but there's a cocky jerk to ruin it, - she grunted, putting the deer down. It was not that heavy, but she was very unhappy with how the mission turned out to be. Are we going to be done soon? - she asked Tamotsu.

ooc: The post order is: AJ Gray, Sench, Prowl NW, Shinobee32. Vere from that order and AJ Gray may boot you from the topic. As I have posted after Sench it is now your turn Shinobee32. Then the order starts over with AJ Gray.

ic: Kodo looked at Tamotsu-sen and listened to his words carefully. "Yes Tamotsu-sensei. I will bring you a dear.-" "- And it will be a high pointer, no small game for this ninja." Kodo thought to himself. He’d seen his sensei and Jaken run off and he was left by himself, well and Airazor on his arm. Looking at Airazor he pondered how he would catch a Strong Buck. Surly that would show Tamotsu-sen that he was worthy of being trained…

Just sitting at camp thinking and thinking. “What would be a good way… Forget hunting the dear. Let’s make the dear come to us.” Remembering how Tamotsu-sen transformed into Jaken gave him an idea. Standing on his feet he released Airazor into the air, then performed the needed hand signs for the Transformation Jutsu. “Transform!!” Chakra began to emit from Kodo’s body and wrap around his form. A poof of smoke went off and a female deer was standing were Kodo once was.

Looking up Kodo sees Rosu through the deer’s eyes as she brings in the deer she killed. “She wouldn’t target a female Deer would she? Did she see me transform? Would she know it was me even if she didn’t?” Many questions ran through Kodo’s mind as he stared at her. Finally getting a hold of himself he bolted into the forest, not wanting to stick around to find out the answers to those questions…

(OOC: Post Order matters little now since we're coming to a close. And please don't say i'm kicking anyone off. xD)

Tamotsu and Jaken caught sight of deer and smiled. The two ran off the sides off the deer and jumped up and began spinning furiously. "Gatsuga!" The two bashed into the deer and knocked it out of commission. Tamotsu poofed back to normal and looked on as Kodo tried to get a deer of his own.

"We already have enough Deer Meat to end this mission. I'll give him a chance though." Tamotsu said as he poofed back to the campsite, letting Jaken drag the Buck back. He looked around for another deer and put his hands together.

"Shikyaku no Jutsu!" Tamotsu poofed into a fermal version of himself on all fours with small claws and began sniffing around until he caught the smell of a deer. He charged forward and found one. He jumped forward and kicked the deer hard and sent it flying into a tree. He sighed and grabbed the deer and dragged it back to the camp and yawned.

"Okay! Team, we have sufficent amount of Deer Meat. Take your Does and Bucks and take it back. Let's go! We're moving out! Rosu, good job. Anoki, stop showing off. Kodo, pick up the pace! Team Tamotsu, Out!"

Tamotsu said as he dragged his buckk back by it's legs. "Okay, so she was right, I should have had rope.... ugh... damn deers." Jaken followed close behind dragging a Doe with him.

ooc: Nobody follow Kodo. This post is so he can prove himself to Tamotsu for training.

ic: Kodo ended his transformation jutsu when he heard Tamotsu-sen say that the mission was over. “Looks like this mission is a failure for me. My first mission as a ninja and I blow it.” Kodo kicks some dirt up with his foot, then turns to leave and follow the others who are pulling their kills back to the village.

Hearing a rustling near a bush, Kodo stops following the others and hugs his back to a tree near the sound. Peaking around the corner Kodo thinks, “This could be it. This must be a dear. Tamotsu-sen will be so proud of me.” Taking an arrow from his quiver, Kodo places it on the string of his bow and draws back. Not really looking were he is firing, he swings around from behind the tree and releases the string.

Kodo looks in the direction his arrow flew and sees two abnormally large deer pulling against each other. There was something logged between both deer’s antlers keeping them stuck together. “No way!?” Kodo looked closer and saw his arrow was the culprit. He blind-fired his bow and got his arrow stuck between the antlers of two very upset deer. They both looked in his direction when they heard his voice. With one final pull the force placed too much strain on the arrows shaft and it shattered freeing the deer from their entanglement.

Kodo thought he was safe. The deer were upset because they were stuck together. Not because he startled them. He found out real fast that was not the case. Both deer turned in his direction. They stomped their hooves and lowered their heads, shaking them in an aggressive manner. “Wait… Deer aren’t aggressive. So why are they doing that?” Kodo couldn’t seem to figure out what they’d want to charge him. Deer would normally run when frightened… But moose wouldn’t. Realizing he made a grave mistake in his animal identification, Kodo turned to run as the first moose charged him.

The two moose were now chasing Kodo through the forest in a direction opposite the rest of his team. Kodo’s speed came in handy when running. It was futile though as his pursuers were gaining ground. Kodo had to get out of reach otherwise his ninja career could be ended by a pair of forest animals. Kodo could see the headline now. ‘Leaf ninja mauled by moose, Genin dies on first mission in own backyard.’

Finally, - thought Rosu as she heard Tamotsu saying the mission was over, - This was a total waste of time. She picked up her downed deer and walked after the jounin captain.
