Basically how much of person does a Sharigan need to see to work. ie: If the use throws down a smoke bomb, around themselves, can they still claim to be able to predict the enemies movements? And how does things like this work for other jutsus such as the Hidden Mist and things like that?

It doesn't work with Hidden Mist, and Smoke bombs, it depends on Environmental Factors, last I checked though, they have to be able to see it, and for some reason, Sharingan can see through some things.

Nope, they wouldn't. Perhaps natural mist if it's thin.

The way Darkstar sees it... If he can see the silhouttes of the objects or the people, meaning... If he has a body part to look at, he can predict and foretell as much as he wants. Smoke bombs, classically have a natural shelter for some of those to see out of the bomb with better perception then those who can see into it. I do believe at least, anyone wanna back me up or add to this?

PS: Take those damn Defilers from Starcraft for example even though I know its a bad one. I hate those fuckin' Zerg. >.> Using Smoke Bombs to cover their Ultralisks and Hydralisks.

Hrm, Sharingan can see through mist, at a certain distance. Like, Kakashi couldn't see Zabuza when he was like 30 feet away, but when the Shuriken got close to him, he could still see and deflect them quite easily.

I hate that not much has been placed to tell about the Sharingan from a fully bloodlined Uchiha using it in these situations. There are some instances where Kakashi just don't cut the pie because there is still much that Uchiha Sharingan users can do that non Uchiha Sharingan users can't do, or so that is what I have examined.

Its also because a lot of characters in Naruto hold massive idiot balls and never think to hide themselves from the Sharingan's vision. Zabuza was quite possibly the only one who did actually try to.

That bring back the fact that not everyone know about the Sharingan to the extent that Zabuza had been able to do it. He was an assassin that learned from his encounters and from underground rumors of the eye. Fool him once shame on him, fool him twice still shame on him because he focused so much on that one thing that he overlooked all of Kakashi's other skills.

Don't forget that kakashi is an all around great shinobi, he was a jounin at a young age without the sharingan. The fact that he as able to stop a couple shuriken in the mist doesn't mean it was because he relied on the sharingan to see them. Hell he could stop them with his eyes closed.

I was not nerfing his skills, I was simply implying that the Uchiha blood is stronger than a regular person's blood and it has proven to do much more extraordinary things while in the possesion of an Uchiha. To me I think of a non- Uchiha with a sharingan as a branch member when comparing the clan to hyuuga.

Though this is a bit overdo, how did we go from Uchiha's Sharingan to Hyuuga's? O.o Also, from what I understand, the Sharingan can see through Mist, if it's thin, as was pointed out, but can't see through thick Mist, like the one Zabuza created during their second encounter. The reason why Kakashi could block those Shuriken was because he most likely heard them, as he senses are like that of a dog's, hence the Dog Contract that he has.
