Retreating to SafetyWhen Akina heard reports of the Sound Village in danger herself and her friends planned to hide out a safe distance from the village. She was split up from her team after they thought they saw a missing-nin.
Akina landed her foot into the ground causing dirt to spread in all directions. The area was a well-forested section, close to the border of Konoha. She wanted to train her Exploding Clay jutsu, but it was hard to do so with danger lurking around every corner. A noise rippled the bushes behind her, and she pulled out several senbon needles and she turned around instantly. Her knuckles relaxed as she saw a squirrel come out of the bushes. Akina lets out a heavy sigh, putting the senbon needles away.
She walks towards a tree and leans against it, she was going to regain her energy before returning to the Sound Village.

Ritsuzen

Ritsuzen got separated from his family as they were leaving the village for safety. He wasn’t even sure how it even happened because one moment they were there and the next they were gone. He couldn’t believe that he finally became a ninja and he got lost! Ninjas don’t get lost. He thought as he wondered around in the forest, being as quiet as he could. He started to hope he wouldn’t find his parents because he knew his father would kill him for his stupidity.
Ritsuzen paused as he saw a squirrel jumped out of a tree and into a bush. Ritsuzen must have spooked it to cause it to run off like that. He walked over to where the squirrel ran off too and saw another Sound ninja. “Hey there. I’m glad I bumped into you.” Ritsuzen said relieved by the fact he found a comrade as he walked out from behind the bush.

Akina was still leaning against the tree as she heard a ripple in the bushes again. This time she only pulled out two kunai in each hand. Seeing another Sound Ninja, she relaxes a little but she still didn't let down her guard. Yeah. Things are pretty crazy back there eh? she motions with her head towards the Village. She knew the exact path back and she realized that this Ninja was probably lost. My name is Akina Nebako, what is yours? She looks at the ninja with calm eyes, not threatening, as she waits for a response.

Ritsuzen looked at Akina in the eyes and saw that there was a calm look about them and that made him feel a little more comfortable around her. “I’m Ritsuzen Takashi. I just recently became a Genin so I’m not all that skilled.” Ritsuzen said trying to smile. He walked a bit close to Akina and fell silent not sure what to do or say. He knew it was best to stay with her than going off on his own again.
“So what do you think of what is going on at the Village?” Ritsuzen said trying to break the unease silences. He wasn’t so sure about it himself since he and his family left and didn’t get to see how big the attack forces were.

Smiling as Ritsuzen said he was a genin, Akina responded "I am a Chuunin, I don't know. I plan to train until its all over. What I plan to train, is this ability." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a ball of clay. She isn't very good at making explosives yet, but she can impress a rookie genin. Akina opens her palm and the mouth inside of her hand eats the clay and starts chewing it.
She closes her eyes and opens her hand and a small bird, the side of a golf ball flies out and bursts in the air. The explosion has about a 5 foot radius, not hitting anything but the wind. The leaves around them ruffle and a few fall off. She opens her eyes, looking directly where Ritsuzen was.

Ritsuzen stood there and watched carefully as Akina pulled out a ball of clay from her pocket. He wondered quietly to himself what she could do with it. His answer showed itself to him soon enough as she opened her hand up. To his great surprised there was a mouth in her hand and began to eat the clay. His eyes widen as the mouth in her palm began to chew up the clay. This thing’s were not really that strange in the ninja world for there were way to modify your own body, which many people did in the sound. But to see it up close in person really did make it look strange.
Something that liked like a small bird flew out of the mouth and into the air and exploded harmlessly in the air above them. Ritsuzen was surprise to see the results of this jutsu, as it was a very useful one and one not to take likely. But her demonstration might have been too loud and flashy to be showing when there could be enemies close by.
“That was very impressive. But that explosion could have alerted the enemy to our position like a flare. And you were planing to refine this skill while there could be enemy ninjas about. Suddenly I find me getting lost not all that foolish.” Ritsuzen said with a look of disappointment. He was sure a Chuunin would have been more careful.

Akina laughed to herself. "If a shinobi finds us, Its more action for me, and if it means anything to you...I'm trying to find someone." Looking at Ritsuzen she sighs. "Anyways if someone comes I will take care of it. You sit there and look pretty." she laughs in sarcasm. Akina stands up, scratching her head in confusion. "I want to know when my associate will get here."
Akina looks at the forest, excepting something to happen. She hears several noises but nothing happens and she sighs in disappointment.

Ritsuzen stared at her still not convinced that she did that two draw her friends to where she was. He was convinced that she showed off without thinking it through of that explosion could have alerted a squad of enemy ninjas to them as well as her friends. He wondered if she could really defeat a small squad of chuunin with a jounin as the leader. It was doubtful that she could beat them, even with her explosive clay jutsu. But whatever the reason he knew it was best to stick with her. Besides it was a little fun being there with her.
He found himself a tree to lean his back on the opposite side of her and was staring at the ground. “So when you met up with your friends what do you think we should do next?” Ritsuzen said calmly.

She stared at Ritsuzen after he spoke to her. "I know what I will do, and I cannot say what I will do. The man I must meet met me once and I he plans to find me again." she raises an eyebrow after realizing he probably thinks she signaled enemy chuunin. "If anyone knows whats going on at the Sound Village, they won't even come into this country. Although I think you do not know what's going on either." She looks at him and she hears another ruffling in the bushes. She grips a kunai and realizes its a simple animal. Akina curses silently about the large amount of animals in this area.

Ritsuzen looked at her as she talked but looked away as she was finished. She was right he wasn’t for sure what was going on because he didn’t have enough time to find out. “All I know is that we were attacked and that it, Senpie.” Ritsuzen looked at the small animal that came out. But it was this man she said that was looking for her that caught his interest. He knew it would be a bad idea to try to ask her a serious about. But he wanted to lighten things up a bit.
“So is this guy like someone your in love with? A mysterious, strong and good looking ninja that is a lady killer?” Ritsuzen began to tease her about it. “I bet you want him to take you away and protect you from the cruel and evil things in this world that will do you harm.” Ritsuzen said this as he batted his eyes with his hands held together up by his head. He stoped his act and laughed a little to himself.

Akina looked back at Ritsuzen. "Yeah. Me neither." She looks at him and starts laughing as he talks about the man she is going to meet. "No...He's not the type of person to save anyone. More like the opposite. But that's all I can say at the moment." her face gets serious when shes speaks, but she relaxes afterwards. She doesn't plan to stick with the Sound Village, she plans to have fun with her life.
She stands up and starts walking away slowly. "We should get moving, Its bad to stay in one place." she starts walking faster, expecting him to follow.

Ritsuzen moved away from the tree and started to follow Akina through the forest. He was moving as quiet as he could and was very good at it for his level of skill. He was being to think of he should even be around for when this guy Akina is waiting to meet shows up. He could always hide if that happens or just stand there and look pretty like Akina suggested. He wasn’t going to get separated from her like he did his parents, so he stayed close to her. “So you know where we are going senpai?” Ritsuzen asked, hoping that she did know where they were going.
Ritsuzen has already grown quite fond of Akina and was hoping that after all this mess they could get to know each other the proper way and get to be good friends. She was a higher ranking shinobi than he was so he could learn a thing or two from her.

OOC: get ready for some fun then *makes a evil smile*
IC: There was an explosion in the air above the two shinobi, shortly after, leaves started falling from the sky, only to land softy on the ground. Kunai errupted from every direction, all their trajectories fixed upon the two ninja, some with explosive tags on them, some without. the kunai with tags on them exploded in a briliant blast of fire that lit up the surounding forest, the smoke created by the blast would be used as a cover from the rest of the kunai.
A few moments after the smoke settled,(im not saying that you didnt dodge/block) The ground tore open under the shinobi's new possition (if you moved) , through the crevice, a 5 and a half foot broadsword erupted from the ground, followed by a shinobi wearing a blank ninja headband on his shoulder, his eyes glowing a blood red in the darkness. destroy the poor souls..........
OOC: just so you know, iltalic words are thoughts, when there are colored, its one of his consciousness's talking in his thoughts.

Akina looks around, hearing an explosion she performs several hand seals. Kawarimi no Jutsu [Body Switch Technique]. The kunai hit a log and then explosion tags appear , blowing the log to pieces. She jumps down from a tree observing the situation, but she doesn't have any time...because the ground starts tearing in two. "Damnit! Whats going on..." Akina jumps into the air, landing several yards away. She spins around and looks at the location and see's a gigantic sword, and then a shinobi. He had a peculiar red headband. He must be one of the people attacking the village. Not anyone can hold that much power...to rip apart the ground.
Akina pulls out two kunai and takes a taijutsu stance, she did not know anything about the mans powers, or anything about his limits. She waited to observe his fighting style.

OOC: I know this is a tad on the god-modding side...but you'll see why.

Aya was running through the forest when she heard it. The sound of a nearby explosion rang in her ears. Aya turned around to see a blast of flames and stopped. Something seemed to be up over there. As much as Aya hated getting into any fights, her curiousity forced her to head that way and check things out.
As soon as Aya was nearby, she began to slow down, but in the progress tripped over a root and went tumbling down to the ground. WHen she finally stopped she sat up and rubbed her back in pain. Some shinobi she was. Aya heard another explosion and quickly scrambled over to a bush and peeked through.
THere was a thick smoke, that soon disappeared and Aya saw three bodies. Aya spotted two Sound Ninja like herself, but couldn't tell who the other one was. The uknown shinobi Aya saw gave her chills as she glanced at the expression on his face. It was probably best to try and make an escape, if possible.

Ritsuzen was caught unaware of the trap that was laid out for them. Time almost stood still for him as Akina did a few handseals using the Kawarimi no Jutsu using a log as a replacement. It felt like a whole minute to just stare at the log in mid-air with a glimpse of a exploding tag tailing off one of the kunai from the side of the log. Ritsuzen and no time to doing anything else but put his arms up in front of his face and try to fall to the ground to try to avoid the rest of the kunai’s. Being behind Akina is what saved Ritsuzen’s life from that deadly trap. If that log didn’t catch the first of the exploding tags and causing the a little bit of a shield to protect him from the explosion, and the blast was strong enough to make the rest of the kunai to lose some of their power, Ritsuzen meant have been killed.
Ritsuzen was on the ground in pain. As the smoke and dust cleared enough to reveal Ritsuzen with several Kunai in his arms and back, his clothes burnt and dirty also splinter’s from the log deep in his arms. He watched as the enemy ninja revealed himself from underground with squinted eyes. He looked away from the enemy to Akina who was now back on the ground and ready to do battle. “Is this pretty enough for you Senpai?” Ritsuzen said with patches of dirt on his face and blood running out of the corn of his painful smile.

Izaku grinned at the two shinobi in front of him, his eyes slowly brightening to yellow and several bisecting perpendicular line forming on them, making them look inhuman. ".............never let your gaurd down even for a second...." several of the kunai he used had been illusions, if there were all real, the ninjas wouldnt have had a chance at survival.
he closed his eyes for a second the reopened them, charging directly at the kunoichi (tinaki) at alarming speeds . When he was with in three feet of her, he made a powerful slash with his blade, cutting clean through the trees beside her, and continued toward her, even as the trees began to fall in random directions. Right after finsihing his attack (you can still block or dodge) he jumped back with enough force so that he landed in the center of where all the leaves had landed, making a few handseals but not finishing the jutsu yet

Akina blinks, and almost instantly her enemy appears in front of her. She see's him pull back for a slash and she blocks with two kunai, but the sword connects and the kunai start breaking in two. She moves back to get out of the way, but its to late. Her body flies backwards, spinning wildly into a tree.
Akina stands up and grabs two kunai, attaching exploding notes on each. She hurls the two kunai at her enemy, then runs towards him, performing several hand seals.

Aya watched as the fight continued. From where she was watching she couldn't see well and began to get annoyed. She never got to see any real fights lately. She had been out of the country with her sensei and just gotten back. She needed some kind of excitement and this was it, even though it was risky to be sitting there watching.
Figuring nobody would see her she quickly got on her feet and crouched down before jumping up into a nearby tree and hiding in the leaves, before being noticed. She peeked through to see the kunoichi trying to dodge an attack but instead flying into the tree. Aya quickly grabbed onto the tree for balance as the tree began to shake.
Aya saw the kunoichi get up, and perform hand seals as she moved towards her enemy. Aya slowly moved along the branch to get a better look when she suddenly lost her grip and fell to the ground hard. She looked around frantically and realized she had landed in the middle of their battlefield.

Izaku shook his head in disaproval. "you also dont seem to notice traps....." he mumbled to himself. He charged chakra into his feet and jumped high into the air as the kunai passed his previous location. He looked down and saw the kuniochi reaching where he was a few moments ago, and made a single handseal.
The leaves covering the ground exploded violently, they had been explosive tags under the henge jutsu, and with the amount of them that there was, The two other shinobi would probably be damaged by it as well. He landed softly on the ground where the center of the blast would have been and made a few handseals, the area was immediatly covered in dense fog and the temperature droped quite a bit. He could easily see through it because he was used to such conditions, however they shouldnt be able to.

Ritsuzen struggled to get to his feet as the two shinobi began their battle. He knew that at his level of skill he would be getting in Akina’s way if he tried to fight as well. He turned to leave them to there battle and made it to a near by tree when a kunoichi fell out of the tree above. But he couldn’t help her either or what her fate may be if she remains there. He went on a few more feet away from the battle when he heard another explosion and felt the blast wave hit him in the back, knocking him several feet forward. He struggled to get back up to his feet again and coughed up some blood as he did so. The mist started to form all around the area and knew it was not natural but a ninjutsu done by one of the shinobi. Ritsuzen went back to moving away from the battle. He knew of a near by village but wasn’t sure if he was going the right way. The village was where he was heading towards before bumping into Akina.

Akina was halfway towards him when the ninja disappeared. She looked around quickly, but didn't see him. She started to back up but the ground below her exploded with tremendous force. Akina flies into the air, a cracking noise splits through the battle ground as she lands on her knee. She rolls over and over before stopping against a tree. She starts to shiver as the temperature becomes cold, and her vision becomes blurry, mostly because of the fog. She closes her eyes, but she falls unconscious, laying on her side against a tree.
OOC: Sorry, Lots of homework, my weekend was filled with jaywalkers and stuff.

Izaku's eyes faded to gray as he walked up to the unconscious chuunin, noting the burneds that the explosive tags had left. just kill them.. the weak dont deserve to live. if we were to leave them, there is a possiblitly of death, but its improbable and survival could lead to a search for revenge... ... that doesnt sound like that great of an idea, what if we helped her? .... interesting proposal, possibly teach them and gain an ally.. seems to be the better choice. *sigh* i still say we should just kill them, but what ever, im outnumbered..
He hesitated for a moment as his eyes shifted to blue then took a few more steps forward until he was right next to Akina. He lifted the kuniochi's unconscious body and put her over his shoulder before starting to walk away under the cover of the mist. you two better not get us killed.
