Quick question

Sorry if this question seems really stupid, but is sand manipulation SA open to apps? I'm contemplating going for it at some point if it is available so wanted to find out before I set my mind on it.

Also, along the line if I were able to get sand manipulation would I also be able to combine it with fire jutsu to form some sort of glass hybrid jutsu, or am I being a complete moron here?

You have to apply for sand manipulation in the character plots section, but as a new player, its fairly unlikely that you will be able to get it straight away. I'm not quite as sure about the glass jutsu mostly because that the Sand Jutsu is already an elemental SA, so you might ahve to make a separate Glass Jutsu one later, or something along those lines.

Thanks for the help. I wasn't thinking of going for it until I at least had some more experience here under my belt and was used to the system etc, so probably not for a couple of ranks. What would you recommend as the 'best' time to start thinking about going for the sand manip? As for the glass jutsu, I'll jump that hurdle when I get to it I suppose, we'll see it how it goes.

There is no real best time, though many people seem to believe that there will one day be a mystical alignment of forces that will force all the admins into good moods where they will hand out anything that the people asked for. Its believed that this date will likely fall on Friday the first of May, 2097.

Though seriously, try to keep up a high consist posting rate over a fairly decent period of time, and you might have a shot at it.

You should try to apply for it now though, their is always a chance. Not sure how many have this abilities so?

Like I said originally, I wasn't even going to apply for it now even if I could have got it, I wanted to expand the character a bit more first and focus on more basic/fire jutsu before branching into sand (assuming I do of course).
