Name: Prowl "Yoru Ouka" Raptor (Name means: NightWolf)
Age: 20

Appearance: Prowl wares a standard Ninja garb with flowing sleeves and flexible pants. His top is grey were the pants are dark blue. Dangling from his shoulders is a black cloak that covers most of his form. When he infuses it with his chakra it hardens and takes the shape of wings. He can use these wings to fly distances that would normally be to far to jump. Prowl's eyes are tattooed with gold to signify that he is a lightning element Ninja within the Raptor clan. Prowl chooses to stay within a semi transformed state that allows his already good (night)vision to be stronger. This takes minimal chakra to do, but still takes its toll in extended battles. On his bare back can be found a tattoo of an Owl in flight. Prowl's lower face is covered by a gold metal mask. Unlike other members of the raptor clan, Prowl's mask doesn't match that of his Nin-pet partner. Rather it is more reminiscent of a wolf's. His hair is silver and curves up on the outsides of his head. Prowl's 2 Wakizashi can be seen crossing his back. The 2 Fuuma Shuriken are located at his right thigh. His multiple Kunai are found along both his arms under the sleeves, and around his waist. Prowl wares the Kirigakure headband around his waist instead of the Konohagakure one. It is common for someone to see Prowl's body be covered in an electric discharge. This is because his elemental chakra is unstable and must be released. If someone touches him during one of his discharges they will get a light shock. When Prowl is angered or feels threatened he can increase the rate and power of the discharge by focusing his lightning chakra. This gives Prowl a strong defense as well as an upgrade on his offence.

Personality: Prowl is a recluse, he has been since  he was small. Growing up his only companion was, Skyshadow, his Nin-Pet Owl. He isn't much for socializing and has become fearful of others intentions dew to a mission near Kiri that cost him his squad. He can be quick to anger, but not to out smart. He much rather prefers the night sky to daylight hours as such his night vision is much greater then your average ninja. When he does come out during the day he is cloaked in a dark piece of garb that hides his form.

Requirements: Must have approved Owl Nin-pet. Great Horned Owl(Lightning). Ninja has advanced understanding of chakra flow and Genjutsu tech. can rapidly fluctuate chakra control.
Description: Each ninja in the Raptor clan specializes in a certain bird fighting style that defines what Jutsu they can learn and how they use it. The most advanced of the five styles, Fukurou users specialize in silent killing techniques. As with three of the other four styles Fukurou users rarely use Genjutsu. Unlike three of the other styles, they can recognize and dispel higher level Genjutsu much easier. Their Torioite Furaito can switch between soaring on the wind and quickly rushing in on the fly. This style's Mouchougan can see perfectly in both the day and in the darkest of places. They're also known to have acute night vision without their Mouchougan.

  • Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique (basic: Ninjutsu)
    Spoiler:

    Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
    This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.


  • Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique (basic: Ninjutsu)
    Spoiler:

    Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.


  • Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique (Basic: Ninjutsu)  
    Spoiler:

    Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.


  • Nawanuke no Jutsu[Rope Untying Skill] (Basic: Nin) {E: 1 post to learn}
    Spoiler:

    This jutsu gives you the ability to easily free yourself from a rope or any other object made from something similar to a rope.


  • Kinobori[Tree Climbing] (Basic: Nin) {C: 6 post to learn without a teacher}
    Spoiler:

    The user concentrates onto the soles of their feet and coats them with a layer of chakra. Once this is done, the user will then be able to walk up any tree like they are walking up a regular foot path.


  • Suimen Hokou no Gyou[Art of Water Walking] (Basic: Nin) {C: 6 posts to learn without a teacher}
    Spoiler:

    The user focuses their chakra to the soles of their feet and step onto the water. From the surface of the liquid, they would then need to be able to measure the amount of chakra it would take to support their weight along the surface of the water without sinking. Once this is mastered, the user would be able to easily walk on water.

  • Raiton: raihouden[Lightning release: Static discharge] (Nin) {D: 3 post to learn without a teacher}

    Requirements: Lightning element
    This jutsu causes the ninjas lightning elemental chakra to become unstable and discharge at random intervals. With proper training a ninja can learn to focus this discharge and use it as both a weapon and a shield.

  • Name: Raiton: Raidenka - Lightning release: Thunder charge
    Type: Ninjutsu
    Rank: C (5 posts to learn without a teacher)
    Requirements: Lightning element, must know Lightning release: Static discharge.
    Description: The ninja channels their lightning elemental chakra into their palm in a ball shape. As the ball is focused streams of lightning will emit from it. The ninja can either hold onto the ball and thrust it forward or throw it at their opponent. Upon impact the small ball with disperse over the targets body and give them a nice shock. This jutsu can be used in both hands, but is only recommended for skilled users.

  • Mouchougan lv1 [Raptor eye] (Do)  
    Spoiler:

    This is the Dojutsu of the Raptor clan. It allows the user and their Bird of prey partner to use each others eyes. The clan’s eye color is normally solid green. When this level of the Dojutsu is activated a faint copy of the Partner's eyes appears over the ninja's. The ninja can now see through their partner's eyes and see exactly what they are seeing. However, the ninja can't see through their own eyes during this jutsu.


  • Torioite Furaito [Bird in Flight] lv1 (Nin)

    Hand Signs: Hold Bird to focus chakra
    This is the Kekkei Genkai of the Raptor clan. As its name suggests it allows the ninja use of their chakra to fly in a pattern similar to their bird partner. By holding the Tori hand sign the ninja releases chakra from their body and directs it downward, this creates lift. The more chakra they use the higher they will climb. Chakra must be continually used or the ninja will fall from the sky. More chakra can be use for propulsion in the same manner as lift.

Background:
Prowl Raptor is a member of the Raptor clan of the Leaf Village. He is one of the survivors of the mission the clan was sent on so many years ago by Konohagakure. He was your basic Konoha ninja; bright, strong, and full of youth. Prowl had a dark side that few knew about. He refused to play with the other ninja at the academy and was always disappearing after hours. Some nights he would be gone till sun-up. When prowl's nin-pet hatched, his parents knew why he had such a fascination with the night.

Prowl was placed under the care of the Fukurou(owl) branch. His training in these arts excelled better then anyone could have hoped. Prowl started to fully embrace the darkness of the night. He even went as far as to remain in a semi transformed state during all of his training. Prowl got to the point were he could maintain his transformation jutsu as long as he was awake. The only sign that he was transformed was his eyes... They shined with a gold glow, unlike the normal green the clan is known for. Prowl's eyes were copied from his owl partner. The advantage of this was a perfect night vision with a range far greater then any other human. Prowl could count the hairs on a flies back at night from a hundred feet away.

When the Chunin Exams came around Prowl opted out. Rather then be placed on display like a chimp in a circus he chose to train by himself till he felt he was strong enough to be called Chunin. He wasn't going to let anyone else tell him he was good enough.

He was found near death by a villager of the hidden mist. Prowl was implanted with metal to strengthen his damaged skeleton. This implant has caused an imbalance with Prowl's own lightning chakra. As a result his lightning chakra discharges almost constantly. Prowl thanked the villager for his help by burning down his house and family. Prowl took the villages headband and escaped Kiri. Nobody of his clan knows of his survival, however his name has been know among whispers of Kiri villagers and those who travel the shadows at night.

Prowl now searched the lands for a place to call home and sells his skills to the highest bidder. He will generally target missing ninja after following them for a wile and take the bounty on their heads for his own. Many have seen his shadow but few have seen him face to face without a scar or two to show for it.

Well the E rank isn't a jutsu. As for the two jutsu I have that are D rank... I didn't know they dropped it to one. When I first posted Kodo it was two. I remember because I had the Hunting Hawk and Bird in flight Jutsus listed... Thought dorment at the time.

As for the implants... If we can give another ninja someones eyes, hand, arms, or the ability to stretchand bend their limbs why not incase their skeleton in metal. Think Wolverine only not as strong.

What's "Tekagi"?  Also, you can't have the Lotus for starting off, even as a Missing-Nin.  And you can't have "Strong in Genjutsu" if that's not one of your "Fighting Styles", unless you actually train with someone who specializes in Gen.

The other form of implants are not as body destructive as you suggust and none of the doctors in naruto are incredibly skilled to do such a complex surgery... and if that's the case... your character would be highly susceptible to lightning/ice/fire jutsu as the metal would have a greater effect on your body.

This is what is listed on our Weapons scroll as a Genin weapon. It may be inacurate, but that is what I based it on.

Didn't mean to have lotus starting off. I copied the template from My Kodo one and didn't deleate everything aperently, so it is gone now.

He isn't strong in Genjutsu, but because of his bloodline trait he has a better understanding even without use of Genjutsu. It is in the Owl Style listed as E rank. Oh and I redused it to just a basic understanding of Genjutsu tech.



AJ: body destructive? I don't remember saying the other implants were body destructive. Still such implants are possible today in smaller form so why couldn't a medical ninja/doctor be able to do something similar? I changed it to just strengthining his skeleton instead of incaseing the entire thing in metal. As for the adverse effects of such a surgery... It says that Yoru's lightning element chakra became unstable. Would that not satisfy?

Ok, I see what you're saying now.  The "Bird Style" isn't an actual Jutsu, AJ, it just tells what kind of bird his RPC uses.  Looks fine to me though.  Objections?

The Tori Jikeis(Bird styles) listed on the clan topic are listed under not Jutsus. They merly tell what branch of the clan the ninja belongs to and how that effects their bloodline traites such as the Mouchougan and Torioite Furaito. Yoru Ouka here belongs to the Fukurou Jikei (Owl style) branch.

Yes well we all know why you would like him approved... You just want him to kill him as soon as you can find him... Well seeing as how your Kage is currently busy with other things I don't think you'll be searching out any Missing ninja any time soon. Yoru will have time to grow in strength.

Ok... I'm going to reformat the profile so it matches what is needed in the Updated Profile template on the site. I will need some help further down the line so that I can have it right and accurate.

EDIT: Ok I just added the new Profile as per the new template I found on here for characters. I kept the old one and encased it in Spoiler tags so as to keep the post clean and not overly long to read. Once I get the "go ahead" The old template will be deleted and the new one takes its place. Now just waiting fora mod or two to look it over and see that everything is in its right place. in the meantime i will be doing the same type of edit to his nin-owl Skyshadow.

ok the updates look good only thing i see wrong is your clan it was moved to the Old template section. if you want it can be moved back to the bl section for a revamp as well?

Well if it need's to be moved in order to be used now that I am back then go right ahead. If not then I guess leave it where it is at until I can find a reason to edit it like creating a new Clan jutsu. unless there is a new template for clans now too? Then, again, it should be moved so i can reformate it properly.

So... should I chance the old template to the new one or just leave it as is? It said that it didn't have to be changed in the topic, but I want a clear clarification to be sure. Also need the go ahead to start RPing again.

EDIT: Ok I removed the old template to clean up. I do need to know if I should add a "Jutsus I want to learn" List or not? If not Then can I get the go ahead and have my guys moved to active status in the approved section?
