Gonin system - now in actionAlright, this has been decided some time ago, and only details were being worked out.
From this point on, the sannin rank will no longer be used. Those who already have the rank will retain it, however, no new sannin will be appointed as the rank is being revoked. Instead of it, we will have gonin. Gonin are five shinobi (in total, not per village) who equal in power to a Kage. To become a gonin, your character must have been a jounin for at least two month, and you must have the approval of at least two admins, with no admin disapproval.
Update: to prevent some complications, there can be no more than 3 (three) S-rank missing-nin on the site at the same time.

What if you're about to join a village? Are you demoted to Jounin and have your Jutsu stripped from you?

Well, if he's in Sunagakure then either me or Zaraki Kenpachi will be the Gonin no doubt.

I think you missed the point. Gonin are all villages; technically all five could be from the same village.

But wouldnt that cause problems? Ya know... villages at war, then the most powerful ninja from a village at war could cause problems with the other gonin...

Tinaki actually makes sense. Though, this will still cause danger to each shinobi village. Right now, beleive it or not, all villages are equal in strength, even the Rock village. With one Kage, one or two Sannin, and several Genin and Chuunin.

Well the point is the Gonin are the 5 strongest (besides the kages), doesn't matter the village. And as far as villages being equal, the Gonin aren't necessarily going to serve their Kage.

Here let me sum it all up for you guys.
All Gonin are allied, as for the kage's villages/country are not.
meaning, all gonin at the moment, have no grudge against each other and such, i believe is what there trying to say.
Meaning the gonin are all on equal level with each other.

This rule is dumb especially if you lose your Jutsu when you join back up into a village.
I'm not allowed to train for my 25th Jutsu anymore.....sob, sob,...sob,....

Alright Listen carefully, how the hell would you lose any jutsu. IF you were a Sannin and left the village and then joined TECHNICALLY you STILL are a Sannin and retain your rank because it was given before this new thing was set forth...

They don't retain their position in the village, They most likely recieve Jounin, But they put beside it (sannin/Gonin Strength).

You wouldn't lose anything, except slots. So just learn more jutsu til they are filled up.

Yeah, I have 24 Jutsu, I'm an S-rank shinobi(Gonin/Sannin Strength) but, AJ said I'm not allowed my 25th, which is okay because I can always purchase another slot with my 5 FC.
