Clan Description:
The Ekaki clan is centuries old, older even than some of the countries. They have lived in the place now called the country of Grass as a small tight-knit family. They have not sought after power like many clans do, but after beauty. The clan started as a group of ninja from many different countries who all had an interest in art in some form. They were powerful ninja and survived all the way to retirement. They retreated to a secluded area of the Grass country to live out the rest of their days in peace. Whether by some gift of the Gods, or by genetics, their children were born with beautifully colored eyes. As their children started to grow something strange happened. From underneath their skin appeared lines of ink and color. As they matured so did the tattoo grow. These tattoos gave their children amazing abilities. Each tattoo was different and beautiful, fitting the personality of the bearer. This was the first generation of the Ekaki clan.
Since then the clan had extended into many branches depending on specific disciplines. The main branch were painters, calligraphers, and printers, while the other branches included musicians, poets, sculptors and potters, and even silversmiths. Clan members were encouraged to explore their abilities and creativity. Because of this, the clan doesn't learn from the standard set of jutsu. They created their own alternatives to the basic jutsu, and each member created his or her own set of personal jutsu that is unique. Many of their jutsus have very similar effects to the standard jutsus, but in different ways. This uniqueness also extended to their fighting styles. They were often influenced by different art styles in all their skills.
Eventually the clan stared to separate and die off, leaving only a few scattered families across all nations. The last son of the main line and current leader of the clan hopes to find his scattered cousins and reunite the clan again.

Bloodline Description:
Every child born of the Ekaki clan bears unique and colorful eye design, though it does not give them any special abilities. The tattoo that they bear starts as a small kanji somewhere on their abdomen or chest. This kanji often determines the child's name in some way. As they age it changes and grows into the full tattoo. At full maturity it covers their entire body, and in some people can even extend in the form of colors into their hair. The benefits that the tattoo gives is different for each person, depending on the design, though usually it allows them to use special jutsus.
The special tattoo also allows the bearer to use jutsus without handseals, though more powerful Ekaki jutsus may require special preparation such as making a piece of art or reciting part of a poem.

Name: Self Portrait

Description: This ninjutsu creates a simple illusion clone identical to the caster. The clone however has no physical properties and will disperse the moment it is touched. It is the equivalent of the bushin jutsu, but requires no handsigns for Ekaki members.

Description: When an Ekaki memeber uses this jutsu, it's tattoos seem to come alive and swirl around, dissapearing and leaving behind the appearance of something else. It will dissapear when the user is touched in the same manner it appeared. This is The Ekaki equivalent of the Henge jutsu, but it takes longer and requires no handsigns for Ekaki members.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to quickly get out of harms way, replacing themselves with a 2-D image of themselves which resembles a painting. This is the Ekaki equivalent of the kawamari jutsu, but does not replace the user with an object from the environment

Description: The user concentrates onto the soles of their feet and coats them with a layer of chakra. Once this is done, the user will then be able to walk up any tree like they are walking up a regular foot path. This is the same as the Kinobori jutsu.

Name: Ekaki Water Walk

Description: The user focuses their chakra to the soles of their feet and step onto the water. From the surface of the liquid, they would then need to be able to measure the amount of chakra it would take to support their weight along the surface of the water without sinking. Once this is mastered, the user would be able to easily walk on water. This is the same as the standard water walking jutsu.

Description: By concentration an Ekaki clan member can create an explosion of color lights, lines, form, and sound in their own mind. This cacophony of light ans sound can break the hold of some genjutsu. It will effectively ward off most Genjutsu, unless extremely powerful or when used in conjunction with an advanced bloodline. This is the Ekaki equivalent of the Genjutsu kai.

Description: This jutsu uses ink to create a clone. The clone can perform jutsus and attack, and it can take a little damage before reverting back to ink.

Okay... you're clan leader must also reside there. Sadly the clan but be Iwa exclusive until Lava gives the okay to reopen clans. Meaning anyone in the clan must be from Iwa.

Well, for storyline reasons, my character is starting out in Kiri but then defecting to Iwa. Kinda like how Kaeor started out as Kiri ninja and then ended up as the Kage of Iwa.
