The Beast Within (Syra Only)Keito has been walking along the streets alone thinking of his mission at hand. He sighed as he had forgotten that he was still looking for his sister. He knew it would be a difficult task if he didn't begin searching soon. However, his arm was tingling again and he shook with pain. "What is it, Firon?" Keito asked as the arm shook with more pain. "It's is not fair. You have gained more power but are becoming useless to me. I have not strengthen with you. In fact your power increases seem to not affect me. Firon spoked softly. "Then what is that you want me to do?" Keito responded. "Seek out another of your clan soon and see what we can do about making our powers balanced. Otherwise, I am nothing but dead wieght to you." Firon growled. "Fine... I'll try." Keito said as he walked.

His eyes scanned the shinobi that walked past him. He felt alone in this city of humans. These mortal men knew nothing of the past nor what surrounded them. They were fools in the eyes of demons and in theirs they were superior. He sighed softly.
He hated having to look like a simple human. His boring blue eyes and thick black hair told nothing of the truth of the demonic power that resided within him. He stopped at a nearby vendor and picked up a small bottle of water. He technically didn't need as much water as he was drinking but if another shinobi was following him he should act like a normal human.

"Kei-kun. Do you feel that? It's another demon bearer. I can sense his demon from here. Oh the though of it makes me shiver with excitement. Me and you will be a team again. Firon laughed heartily at Keitaro who shrugged a moment. "If that is the case, mind pointing out where exactly this secondary person maybe instead of telling me? It would be useful for both of us." Keitaro said in a matter-of-turn. "Behind us, young one. He is hiding behind us." Firon said lightly. Keitaro turned around and looked at the man in question.

He raised his eyebrow questionably. It was the unmistakable aura of an Ozanaru clan member. His bloodline was fairly strong within him which meant he was of considerable demonic strength. But what was he doing in Otogakure No Sato? He didn't remember the authorization of this, nor any record of missing people that went there.
" Hello child," He said softly in his unusually deep voice. " What's a demon like you doing in a place like this?" He began walking down a side path around the shops to avoid anyone overhearing. He doubted the locals would be glad to know demons were among them.

Keitaro followed after the man silently and then leaned against the walls of the alley. He sighed a moment as the man had refered to him as a demon. True, he was bearing the demon in his arm, but it did not make him a demon himself. He looked at the man and then looked to the floor. "Many qestionable things have happened and I've begun to travel the world to see what is happening. In the same, I am looking for my sister. Apparently, my father had more then one child." Keitaro looked up and looked at the man and then brushed his hair aside. "You seem well versed in demon sensing. Maybe you can help me understand this ability of mine. You see... my name is Keitaro. The last son of Hiato Ozanaru."
|

OOC: >.> He's not the last son of Hiato. He's second last.
IC: A broad grin stretched across Zinclaire's face. In a quick flourish he dropped the appearance and brought up one of his personal favourites. His eyes grew into a purplish hue with large indigo pupils; his hair grew out into a ponytail of a white-silver colour. His body shifted into a smaller size, both in weight and height. His ears curved and pointed like a cats while his fingers grew longer and more nimble.
" It is good that you crossed my path, Keitaro-pumpkin. I am the Bakgurash of your sister. Might we go in here for a while?" He led him into an open abandoned house. He closed the thin door before continuing.
" Your sister, Syra, is doing well. She is the leader of the clan now and last I checked in line for the title of Mizukage. I'm sure you want to know more so feel free to ask."

Keitaro followed after him and then heard all he had to say. He now had a name and a place. But he would acquire the looks another time as he though a moment. His arm was stung with pain and then he looked at Zinclaire. "The demon in my arm tells me that as I grow stronger, he grows weaker. Why is that? What is so special about this bloodline? And why do I have it?And like all things and ignorant people ask... how do I get rid of it if I no longer wish it?" Keitaro asked cautiously. "How dare you presume to get rid of me, Kei-kun! I have always obeyed your orders in return for a home." Firon yelled into the boy's mind. "For now, presumptions are just that. In time a real decision will be made." He responded.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
Zinclaire nodded slowly as he processed each of the questions. " You are a demon-child. Whether or not you wish to believe this is your decision but all Ozanaru have demonic blood within their veins. If they did not they could not harbour the demonic presence without dying instantaneously.
" Your demonic strength is like your natural strength. If you do not train you can not become more powerful. And just like your strength, if you do not train properly and with the right teacher you will not learn anything."
He waited a moment before whispering quietly, " The only way to remove the bloodline now is to cut off the arm and drain the demonic blood."
|
AJ Gray
|
"I'm rather fond of my arm and demon residing in it. I'll keep it for now. Besides, runs useless when you fight with your arms and you lack one which is your predominant hand. Anyways, what's this about training with the right teacher? I would suppose you'd tell me you have the ability to show me how to extend my Bloodline's power beyond it's basic seal. Which makes me at this point intrigued as to what may come to pass." Keitaro said as he leaned against a nearby wall and then sighed.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
Zinclaire nodded. " I have trained many Ozanaru in the way of the Akuma Ude Youshiki when their parents or siblings could not.
" If you'd like, I can train you. I'm only going to be in Otogakure for today; I'll be leaving at dusk. During the next few hours we should be able to fit in the basics. Typically we would not train so quickly but since you're much stronger than those typically learning these Seals I'll just teach you the basics and you can fill in the rest through practice."
This was a procedure he knew well and had perfected over decades of training. He morphed his appearance to match Keitaro's. Dark eyes stared back into dark eyes; the black hair falling between them on the bridge of the nose. The same black jacket matched his.
Vian smiled softly and spoke in the exact same voice: " Show me all your jutsu and some of your strengths. I also need to see your First Seal in use."

"All the demon does is sense the elements around me. Other then that my skills are limited to my physical attributes. But if you need to see it, then fine." Keitaro began to release the belts on his right arm and he began to glow a soft brown color. He looked around his body and then nodded. "The strongest element around here is earth. Which means that an earth user would most likely be at home here. But since I am not earth, it really doesn't matter." Keitaro said as he ran forward towards the carbon copy of himself and thrusted his palm forward with great force.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
Zinclaire watched carefully and took full note of the jutsu. It was his duty to copy the jutsu completely if he were to understand the full capabilities of his bloodline. He contemplated this as the young man took a palm strike to him. He noted the style of the movement and although the technique was a bit off he recognized it immediately. He slipped aside and grapped the palm, using the momentum gained to slam it straight into the wall.
He was pleasantly humoured by the hot-headedness of the attack. His fire was strong enough for the passion required for the bloodline but it seemed that his control was still lacking. " You know, you could just tell me the name's of the jutsu. Chances are I've seen it before."
|
AJ Gray
|
"If you know the names, or have seen it before, then you need not hear them again. Your ability to dodge my first attack tells me you know I foucs primarily on Taijutsu as it is my strongest suit of attack. Which also tells you, i'm not primarily strong in other points." Keitaro smiled as he ran forward and disappeared for a split second. He then appeared slightly under the copy and stretched his foot forward with great speed. "Konoha Senpuu!" He yelled as he relied solely on the speed of the attack as a surprise. Straining himself, caused him to sweat and that's what he wanted.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
Zinclaire watched the simple attack. The boy did not lie; his skill lay solely in his taijutsu techniques. Although he did seem accomplished his basic strategies left something to be desired. Zinclaire pushed it aside from his mind for now; he was only here to improve his bloodline strength. He thought all this before the attack came to strike.
With lightning reflexes he lept over the attack and back-flipped. His feet came down in time to make contact with the wall in which he flipped foward and landed softly in front of Keitaro. He was facing the wall but he hoped that he impressed the boy for him not to waste his time with another attack.
" Kohona Senpuu. Good for people with less speed; a risky attack against with those that are higher. Remember this - I might have copied your appearance but that does not mean I have to keep your natural physical parameters. I think that these will suffice unless you have something more powerful. This will be very gruelling on your mind which then affects your body. I suggest you prepare yourself first with some mental barriers."
|
AJ Gray
|
"I like how you presume me to be weak simply because I'm out of practice. And if I misread your intentions, then forgive me, for like one would say, it's a human thing to be wrong. Yes, I lack speed, but there is other things that give me an advantage. But for now, what exactly do you mean by setting mental barriers? Does it have something to do with the demon's power and the seal on my arm?" Keitaro said as he rolled upright and then looked at his copy. He dusted himself off and then fixed his hair. Knowing that he would have to use the demon in some way, he took the Sleeper's Earrings off his left ear and then put it in a pocket.
|

His eyes sparkled as he chuckled softly. This one was quick to assume but not fast on wisdom. Not typical of an Ozanaru but this was the child of Hiato. The man who single-handedly saved his a stranger from a squad of enemy shinobi simply because they told him that he was weak.
" No, this part is something you can do without a demon. This is what one would do to avoid genjutsu and mind-reading. Essentially this mental barrier is just you preparing for the demon. Although you might consider it a friend it will innately try to pierce your mind and take over your body. The higher the Seal the harder it is to defend against it so you must be prepared beforehand."
|

"So what in theory am I doing exactly because this sounds difficult based off explanation." Keitaro said as he walked over to another wall and leaned against it. He took a deep breath to relax his body and regain his senses. He was tired a bit from a lack of rest the last few days and wanted to avoid a strenuous training session. However, at this point he had nothing more to do then to accept this training lest he wanted to remain weak. He kicked off the wall and walked toward the copt and then looked him in the eye. "I have a small amount of energy to work with. But if need be, I have the means to do your training. So let's begin."
|

He shook his head slightly before coming to his explanation speech as he always did. He started with a demonstration of another's demonic arm. He mimicked the arm of Gurasuga, a cousin of Syra's. His arm turned blue and mottled. He performed the first Seal and a spray of mist appeared. It warmed his arm and gave it life. The colour turned a brighter blue and shone as if it were moist. He made the arm return to the mimic of Keitaro's before continuing.
" There is no chakra involved with mastering the Seals. Your chakra control and pool will do nothing. Neither will your physical strength. Considering your strengths this will be difficult for you. The control necessary will test your mental and spiritual abilities. However, as they grow you to will grow as a person. If you can master this bloodline and gain the wisdom that comes from it you will be above most that you could not beforehand. Understand?"
He doubted the boy understood the full extent of what he just told him. It may take months, even years, for him to truly understand what the Ozanaru were. There was a chance he wouldn't even learn this; just destined to lose control in the near future.
Although Zinclaire's thoughts drifted elsewhere his lesson had not. He had drew the knowledge from his memory banks and started to construct the verbal component. He walked up to Keitaro and drew a ringed symbol around Keitaro's arm. " It'll help you with control," He explained when he glanced up at his confused face.
" Now try to feel the demon's prescence within you. Feel his power. Let him touch your mind in exchange for that power. Your blood might feel unusually warm. Don't worry; that's normal. Feel the blood run through your arm. Don't let it push too high though. If it starts to go past the line that I drew try to push the demon back. If you can't, just yell out. I'll put a Hold Seal on it if I must."

Keitaro nodded as he looked at his right arm and then closed his eyes. He relaxed every part of his being and faded into the darkness of his mind. As he did, he invisioned several barriers in his mind that had slowly begun to open. There were 10 of them in succesion made of what appeared to be stone with blood on them. As each of the barriers opened, Keitaro opened his eyes and found him in this long hallwatf of opened gates. He walked forward slowly and could feel heat around him begin to rise slowly. He winced a bit at the heat but did not let it hinder him much.
"It's nice to see that you're allowing me to get that much closer to you, Keitaro-san. It's been a while since you've seen the form I was once in. The voice was familiar but seemed so much more darker.
"So I see now what he meant." Keitaro said as he began to get a massive headache. He could hear slight footsteps approching towards him in the darkness of the hall. "This hall is the sealed part of my arm."
"You were never a dumb one. This is the mental representation of your seal in your mind. But since you so graciously opened the gates, it means I have a bit more room to expand! Maybe I'll just move a bit more." Firon's voice called.
"Stop..." Keitaro said as in his mind his arm began to bleed as a small line began to appear. It was a cut slowly moving it's way up to the shoulder. He closed his eyes and then opened them to the real world. He was in pain as he looked at his copy. "This shit... it hurts... stop it."
|

|
Zinclaire looked at him writhe in pain and closed in. He waited until the boy gave him the go ahead though; he had often seen Ozanaru in mental battle for quite some time before defeating them. Once the boy asked him he jumped straight in and spun his hands through a string of hand signs. These were not recognizable to the boy who had never seen a Priestess and obviously never seen the Priestess Seals.
He finished after three seals and touched his arm. " Hold," He said softly. Instantly the demon went fully numb as if it were frozen both physically and mentally. This was not a good start but hopefully it would improve.
" You can't let the demon gain control. Assert yourself; you are the stronger. That is your body and you are the master. This time make sure you protect yourself. The demon is a coward; if you show your strength to it and fight it will draw back. Do not worry - you can't kill it that way.
" Whenever you are ready to try again just say and I'll release the Hold."

Keitaro was breathing a bit hard and tried to pay attention to the copy. He nodded softly figuring whatever he had to say would be miniscule to the bigger picture at hand. He relaxed and and took a deep breath as his body returned to normal. He was no longer hotter then normal and managed to have the odd pains disappear. He looked up at the copy and then began to have a look of conviction and valor. "Okay, I will fight back to show that this is my body and I am it's sole master. I am ready." He said a bit winded.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
" That's right." He smiled softly to encourage the boy. He was hoping this one would succeed; the youngster seemed so full of energy and life. He pressed his hand on his arm and enacted the Priestess power within him. The invisible Seal was released. Although Keitaro could not see anything he would be able to feel the demonic pressure once more. He awaited with bated breath, unsure but hopeful the boy would be able to do better in his second bout with the demon that he harboured within.

Keitaro's eyes closed and he returned to the long hall in his mind. The barriers opened once more and he could feel the heat in his body increase again. The same powerful headache returned quickly and he fought it off. He could hear the foot steps coming towards him as he walked forward. As he did, he pulled out a kunai and then he smiled in pain as he began to bleed from his arm again.
"Reisitance... is harder when within these walls." Firon's voice said darkly.
"I'm pretty sure it is... but this..." Keitaro began to pick up speed as one barrier closed behind him. "... IS MY..." Another barrier closed.
"This one's got spunk. Just like when I met him." Firon laughed.
"... BODY!" Keitaro yelled as his eyes glowed white and he ran forward with the kunai in hand. The cut on his arm increased with pain as he growled through it. He saw the figure who looked him in the eye. "Back up!"
Firon looked on and jumped back as two more barriers closed behind him. Keitaro opend his eyes and looked at the Copy. He panted a bit but then gave a weak smile. "Doing better."

Keitaro closed his eyes once mored and allowed his mind to take him back into his mental image of the world inside his arm. He now resided between the 4th and 5th barrier in his arm. The latter four being closed behind him. He had a feeling he would have to force the other 6 barriers in order to prove that he was the sole master of the body himself. He walked along the halls off his mental world and the pain slowly crept back into his mind. He could feel an odd chill that soon turned into a searing warmth as he winced walking towards the 7th gate.
"What are you trying to prove, young one? That you're better then me? You bested me once before, why try again? Are you afraid of me?" Firon's voice echoed in the hall.
"No... it's because..." Keitaro's breathing picked up as the cut on his arm returned and blood seeped through. "... it's not you... using me... anymore. But me... using you. I... am the master of this castle." Keitaro said as the 5th barrier closed behind him.
"Because you can approach me means nothing. Seal all you want." Firon laughed
As Keitaro walked through the 8th gate, the 6th and 7th barrier slammed shut.
"From here... you come to me." Keitaro said as his arm bled. He closed his eyes and reopened them and looked at his copy. "Am I almost done?" He panted softly.
|
OzanaruSyra
|
" Hm..." Zinclaire visibly frowned in disproval. He was dominating the demon; in fact, the demon was getting bolder after each excursion. He would have to switch his teaching methods. The only way the boy was going to learn to control himself is through physical control first.
" I have another idea. We're going to spar. No weapons, and you can't use any taijutsu. All that is allowed is demonic jutsu. Once you catch me in a position which I can't defend we'll move onto the next step. Are you ready?"
He waited quietly with his arms folded across his chest. Unconsciously his eyes turned into a dark red hue and his hair began to meld back into his characteristic long silver-white. He grew a few inches taller and much paler. Although he was a copy demon without any true form he had taken this form for so long that it was almost his natural instinct to reach for it. His changes went unnoticed to himself as he waited for the boy to make the first strike.

Keitaro sighed as he knew this would be a tough challenge as he begun to take off all the belts on his right arm and then he looked at the demon himself. "I'll try... but it might not be easy. I will attest that I am very bad at ninjutsu or even manipulating the demon. But I will begin." Keitaor said as his body took the brown shine as he ran forward. As he did, his fist began to take a rocky form and the threw it forward towards the demon with speed. "What is this?" He asked himself silently. "This is use working together for now..." Firon growled to him in his mind.

Vian smiled softly as he rushed upwards. He grabbed onto the roof and clung there as if held by invisible strings. The rock smashed into the wall behind him sending pebbles and dust throughout the tiny abode. He let himself drop with a soft thud as he landed. The impact did nothing to faze him though. He charged foward and a split-second later his fist was speeding towards Keitaro's head. His other hand was gathering a small blueish-white ball of crackling energy. It slowly grew larger until it amassed into a small basketball shape yet he held the energy back from release.

Keitaro had noticed the faulty movements of his attacks as soon as the demon moved. Before he had a chance to react accordingly, the demon had begun his attack and he couldn't shift fast enough. "Idiot! Send the aura to your leg and then attack him that way! You'll get us killed!" Firon yelled as he tried to break the barrier to Keitaro's mind. "Fine!" Keitaro yelled as he willed the aura to his leg, making it heavier and stone and began a swift leg kick towards the demon with speed. He would accept the attack as long as he could catch the demon off guard.

The fist shifted completely in momentum and dropped towards the ground. In its flight it managed to become open palm. With a powerful smash he gripped his fingers into the ground and held on. His other hand flew wildly letting the energy burst upwards, away from the fierce warriors. the explosion shook the room and left immense dust and stone falling from the roof to create a proper distraction.
With his body he dropped low enough to avoid the entire kicked. His grasp held his entire weight in perfect proportion before launching himself into a crouching position. With lightning fast reflexes he reach for his leg to grab. While this itself would be useless the immense stone slabs rocketing down towards the ground would prove a challenge and possibly a concussion. His open hand was held out to catch the blocks if they managed to fall towards his mass.

Keitaro knew that this was meant to throw him off but his speed was bad and he would be unable to move fast enough to avoid the falling rubble. He closed his eyes and braced for impact. As he did, his darkness brought him face to face with the demon Firon. "It's like you have a death wish now. Listen to me. Our powers are strong if you allow them to be. So apply this to your attack. Collect the aura's energy and blast it forward towards the rubble. If you don't you'll be crushed. If it works, you're aura will wear off for a while but it'll be a nice return of attack." Firon growled as Keitaro opened his eyes and held his hand up as the aura rushed to his palm. "Now!" He yelled as the ball of energy exploded upwards to the rubble and destroyed it and knocked the rest to the side.

Vian braced himself for impact as thousands of stone shrapnel embedded itself into his arm. He released a burst of chakra that made his arms into solid steel. He waited in that position until the effects of the explosion were over. The aftermath left the entire room devastated; the ceiling was barely a gap that showed a bright blue dome. He walked over into the middle of the room, letting the rubble fall from his arms.
He turned into a sweeping bow before murmuring softly, " You are now an Ozanaru of worth. You show cunning, resourcefulness, and effective demonic skills. You interacted with your demon quickly and without losing control. While your skills are still lacking you have the potential to learn them. I leave you now with the knowledge that you are a true Ozanaru."
He turned out of the room, letting his back shape into immense wings of violet and white feathers. With a huge beat of them he was uplifted several feet into the air. Soon he was far above into the shining sapphire coloured sky, far from sight and mind on the air currents.
