Tamotsu sighed as he sat at Renima's desk looking over tons of papers and notices that the Hokage left for him to work on while he was away. He grumbled at how lazy his "brother" could be and wanted to throttle him when next they meet. He signed several important documents and passed on several he found to be tedious and unnecessary. When he was done, he noticed 4 hours of time had passed by and he grumbled heavily. He was hungry and he still had several papers left to do. To piss Renima off, for making him be a slave for the time being, he began to search through the Hokage's desk and looked around. After finding nothing, he grumbled and kicked the desk. A secret compartment in the drawer opened and a scroll with the word sword on it rolled out.

"Eh? What's this?"

He read the scroll slowly and his eyes opened. He knew these to be techniques that Renima had created and briefly remembered the most powerful of them. It was called Salamandra and he had always been curious of how to make it work. Instead, he would train and make his own. He got up and took the scroll with him... but he knocked over all the papers on the desk and sighed happily.

"Okay. I finally got here."

Here being his house once more, where Tamotsu liked to train. He sighed as he took the scroll in his hand and opened it up to read it's contents. The first thing he did was bypass several of the other sword jutsus and went to the Salamandra jutsu. It was for the first time he had noticed how poorly written it was and he began to correct all the grammatical errors. "I wonder if he'd notice?" Tamotsu thought as he looked at the illustrations in horror. He tilted his head like a small child looking at something exciting and new. However, this tilt was not for that.

"These drawings... are horrid! God, Renima! Anyways, I'll have to do what I can. I should get some practice with this thing first." Tamotsu said as he looked at the sword on his side. He had been carrying it for some time and almost regretted doing so. But he put it aside for a moment and took it out of it's temporary sheathe. He gripped the hilt of the blade and began taking small practice swings. He tried to move deftly with the sword as he possible could. He took soft steps as he maneuvered around the garden not hitting anymore trees then need.

He felt confident after a while and began taking heavier swings with the sword. It felt almost right as he move quickly with it. However, during one swing, he let the sword go and it flew forward into a tree and he looked on shocked.

"Note to self... hold grip better."

After dislodging the sword from the tree, which proved difficult, Tamotsu held the sword once more and began the real part of his training. He looked at the scroll once more, despite not wanting to, and looked at the illustrations. He would have to transfer chakra to the sword, using his fire nature chakra, and make it extend in a form. He would have to practice transferring chakra into a weapon, much like the rasengan. He closed his eyes and began to visualize a serpent form in his mind. HE began focusing much like he had in the past and tried to transfer chakra into the blade. As he did, the hilt began to take an orange glow and it slowly built it way up the blade but failed to do anything more and faded away quickly.

"Hmm. Need better control."

Tamotsu gripped the sword harder and began to focus as hard as he could. The blade took an orange tint again as he focused. He stared at the blade and tried to remember why he took it. As he did, the anger of why he had it began to make his focus stronger and the chakra flowed a bit more from hilt to half way up the blade but no further. He sighed as he tried to push himself to make more chakra take into the blade. As he did, the chakra's glow did not increase but brightened more. He looked at it amazed by how much this one jutsu needed a great amount of chakra. He tried to hold it as long as he could but the chakra faded once more.

"What's the point of a large chakra pool if I can't use it right?" He growled.

Tamotsu grumbled a bit more about his dilemma of accessing his giant chakra pool that was deep within him. He knew he could access it and hopefully through this training he could call upon it as best he could. HE took the blade and refocused again. He closed his eyes and began envisioning a large fiery serpent snapping it's fangs at the darkness. As he did, the orange glow of the blade began to appear again. The orange glow began to climb up slowly and slowly to the tip of the blade and began to shine brighter. In his mind, he could feel his body burning with rage and it showed in the blade as the heat seemed to increase and the glow began taking a blue glow and shine. Tamotsu opened his eyes and the sword exploded with chakra but it could not take a form.

"I need to make it form..."

Tamotsu felt the chakra dispell and he opened his eyes. He looked at the blade which seemed to be smoking heavily. His brow raised as he looked at it and shrugged it off. As he closed his eyes once more, he envisioned the same fiery serpent in his mind snapping it's fangs in the darkness. The massive blue glow began to take over and it flew all the way to the tip of the blade. Tamotsu kept his focus as best he could and the chakra began to extend outwards and take a shape. It wasn't as defined as his serpent but it was taking a long slender shape like a snake. He opened his eyes and saw it. He was a bit satisfied but wanted more out of the the chakra and knew that he could do it.

"This next attempt..."

Tamotsu nodded as he dispelled the chakra in the sword and attempted again once more. This time he knew he could get the chakra out and that he could make it extend into a form. He closed his eyes and he could see something in the darkness come towards him with great speed. It was the fire serpent and it stood up before Tamotsu and hissed at him before snapping forward to bite him. Before it could, Tamotsu opened his eyes and the sword exploded heavily with chakra. It began to extend outwards an take a form of the serpent in his mind and it extended to about 15 feet. Tamotsu looked at it unimpressed. He swung it forward and the fire made serpent listened to his whim and swung forward. He spun the blade around him and it began to spin and make a dome of fire around him. Tamotsu looked one as the dome stood there around him. He smiled and nodded.

"He makes bad scrolls but he knows how to make a jutsu." Tamotsu smiled.
