Minato looked over the trees the broad tree trunks, he could merely feel the essence of the trees. They were kind loving but fierce when needed, this was a sight to behold among everything else. The leaves filled with chloroplast organelles the green was greener than yesterday, an awkward moment looking into them. The sun reflected upon them yet they shined above the rest, they were truly the gods. Minato was cold and almost damp, it was foggy today unlike usual days. What was even more weirder is that the elements agreed with the nature. It was quite a sight to behold. Minato waited there for a genin rank ninja to help him with another mission, this one required his attentions immediately. He needed to find the person in Otogakure and kill whoever was spying on the village, this was almost like a A rank mission. Although they usually end in fun gore killing battles.

" What a coincidence, us being paired again," The placid but familiar voice came from behind Minato. There stood Bakura, watching his partner carefully. He always repeated his servelliance of anyone he sees, whether or not he just saw them a minute or a year ago. He could tell that Minato was in awe of the natural beauty around them.

Bakura himself had never experienced such wonder. He could never understand why people enjoyed it so much. All he saw was terrain, items to be used for his intracate traps.

MinatoNamikaze

He quickly took a glance at the person, and then finally looked back. He was not in the mood for looking at other people, although quite rationally he held it back. I see well, nice to see you as well, I am presuming that you know why we are here, to find and kill the birds and that little brat who wants to spy on otogakure. He said it with a bit of distaste. I will search from above you will go from below, if anything shall happen tell me first, call my name. He stood up and slowly took out a scroll, he opened it quickly and bit his thumb he put the blood that came out of it on the scroll. He quickly closed it and had it with him in a specific stance. He then released it by putting it into the ground and then crushing it with both his fists hitting the ground in complete unison. A 40' Snake came out from underneath Minato and he began searching the forest.

He watched as the gigantic reptilian ran rampant throughout the forest. He looked back at Minato, incredulously. " The mission said discretion and secrecy were key points..." He chuckled softly. It was true; this brash and short-sighted ninja was growing on him.

" I'm within calling distance," He said before sprinting along the low-lining trees. He moved quickly but saw everything in slow motion, catching all important details with his vision. He saw nothing of value; it was more likely that Minato would find the hawks since he was closer to the sky.

MinatoNamikaze

A large creature like thing moved about, with Minato above it. It seemed to him that there was nothing, he was searching every corner, and he knew all the parts of the forest he works his best in a forest. This was getting to him, he knew where everything was then why could he not sense it, the birds just then he sensed something. He looked in every way he could think of, unless the snake was covering the bird because of his height. Hey Snake use sonic boom to destroy that bird that your fatness is hiding. Minato said it so softly that the snake was the only one to hear. The snake a bit annoyed use sonic boom, but on a larger scale his emotions were getting the best of him. The snake almost blew out some of the forest, but the bird was killed. As it so happened he saw another bird almost right next to the trap master. He hoped that he would not fail himself.

Bakura was prepared if it came to him, even if it wasn't likely. He kept leaping from branch to branch, scanning the low-lining horizon. He almost missed it as it flew right behind him and tore to the side. It was a good thing he was looking back and forth. Three kunai were released instantly from his hand before disappearing above the bird. He caught his launched kunai and threw it downwards. They stabbed into the bird's back and the avian staggered slightly. It continued it's flight; at least before Bakura reappeared below and punched upwards. With a poisoned needle in his hand, he finished the bird off in mid-air without so much as a blink of an eye. He dropped back to the ground and awaited further orders.

MinatoNamikaze

He looked at the kid, he was almost proud of him. He saw another one coming, he wondered where they were coming from, looking in all directions it was still hard. He should create a jutsu that uses super sensory, heh as if it were easy creating one. Although he did notice chakra being formed from the corner of his eyes, although not physically visable it was giving a certain hint. It was kind of weird to him, but never the less he told the snake to go to where he was showing him, obviously it was much easier than anticipated although he could no longer see the kid, presuming from his chakra level it was assumed that he was behind it. Skulduggery was not allowed in his vocabulary, if he had a good one anyways. It seemed that the best of it got to him, he was thinking while the child was running away, but he got back on track. He went off the snake and told him to wait, as he followed the fool who dared to assume he was stronger then him. Nevertheless though he was always deceived at the last moment.

Bakura rushed through the forest, gradually climbing until he was leaping from treetop to treetop. He scanned the ground carefully, looking for the low flying birds trying to escape the giant snake's deadly rampage. He spotted one and dived right off the treetop.

He sped quickly to the ground. Just before being launched headfirst into the bird he performed a quick handseal. A log replaced his body and rammed itself full force into the bird. It's momentum knocked it unconcious and through it to the ground. Bakura stood waiting and grabbed the broken animal from the ground. He didn't kill it; likely it would lead it to its masters once awakened.

MinatoNamikaze

Minato moved left to right to find the person, he could feel the person so close to him. It was as if he were standing right in front of him. He moved closed and closer. Suppressing his chakra levels so it was undetectable by anyone. It was as if he was never there. Alas he saw him. He was wearing a regular jumpsuit oddly familiar to him, he pursued the person and he saw more of it. It's color was green and orange. Somewhat sissy like to Minato he almost started laughing, but suppressed it. He followed him closer and closer. Then the person stopped and looked back his forehead was a ninja that was from Kiri, enraged by this Minato moved in. I shall kill you now fool, for you have been spying upon the village elders, it seems that you are from Kirigakure. Talking is meaningless now. He moved in for the kill swiftly.

Bakura heard a loud scream. Insignificant birds flocked into the sky in fear. He rushed in the direction that he heard it. Moments later he appeared in front of Minato. The deed was done; the man was dead. He still held the unconcious falcon in his hands. " What to do with you..." He muttered. He was not going to kill it, but he asoknew that a nin-pet bird would not be able to survive alone in the wild. There was only one thing to do - take it as his own.

" Let's go Minato. We have to inform them of a job well done." He walked out of the forest with the jounin, holding the bird tight to his chest. This was a day of history for the boy; it was the day he found his life time companion.

MinatoNamikaze

Minato looked at the kid, he would turn out to be a fine shinobi one day, until that day is he would help him if he ever needed it. He had never shown so much emotion to one person ever in his life even before becoming a Jonin, always secluded and in trance this was quite a feat for him. In deep thought he moved quickly towards the Village Councilors palace,he arrived with Bakara very quickly he spoke. Council Members of Otogakure, I have to inform you that the Mission is completed and the person doing this deed is no more, I will take my leave with Bakara. Minato moved out of the room and left Bakara standing.
