QuistionI'm starting off as Chuunin. (Free rank upgrade.)
But I was wondering about jutsus. I know I'd start with the basics, Buunshin, Henge, Water Walking, etc. However, would I be able to add more jutsus in, to cover anything I may have learned as a Genin, although I skipped that stage?
Basically I'm asking if I can have a few more techniques aside from the basics if I'm starting out as a Chuunin. (And if so, how many.)

Well, as a Chuunin, all the basics don't count towards your total, and you are allowed 10 Jutsu, 8 as a Genin, so you can have up to 3 that you would have learned so far, since basic jutsu counted as a Genin

Huh? That's new... Last time I checked, when you start a new character, you are allowed to put jutsu that you learned before that point, since it makes sense that your starting character (Normally a Genin) could have learned an extra jutsu or two at the academy

We have changed it. You must learn all jutsu besides the basics.

Even when you start as a Chuunin? I can understand as a Genin, but a Chuunin needs already know jutsu besides the basics... otherwise, what's the point?

A title, and an increased chance of death/unnecessary injury on a higher ranked mission from not having good enough jutsu...oh, hello

Yeah, that's something people want... I say that people which get 2-3 C-ranked or lower jutsu if they start off as a Chuunin. It makes sense that way, as a Chuunin without jutsu is not much different from a Genin.

Am I correct? OR do I have to learn Water Walking, Tree Climbing, and Rope Unbinding. @_@
