New question (summon)http://narutorpcenter.com/ftopic13500-0-asc-10.php
Non mods get 1/5 vote??? anyone explain what this meant, amazed that i missed something through my rummaging.

It's called member approvals. It's a pointless system to make members feel important in applications. If five members accept the profile, they contact a moderator to move it.

Hmmm, i wish to abuse such powers...It would make me feel important..
Have 3 in a clan already approving, just need 2 more?
Can a mod disapprove?

Yes, and it has been done in the past

Member approvals aren't final. They can be ignored completely by a mod if it's done in good merit. Otherwise, don't expect to get apps done fast by collecting people to approve.

Then why even have it, Good God...haha
Interesting, what post was this provided on, wondering if any other info/rules were on it.

The reason that we allow it is to make the non mods aka MEMBERS take part in approving such thing and giving their ideas alot more and helping making things FINAL.

oh that...i remember that now. Seemed unneeded but?
Diffrent question now.
| Quote: | | you will never be allowed to permanently kill any summon from any contract that you do not create your self. |
So if someone critically hits a summon it will what? Puff into smoke? Can they re-summon it in perfect health during same battle, or in same thread?

No.
It's saying that if you were not the creator of the summon contract, you must notify the creator what has happened and its really up to them to decide whether that creature dies. So, the best thing to do is just puff them out to safety. So, if your talking about a unique summon, if they re summon it in the same thread it won't be at top health. It will be at the same health it was before.
But if its a generic summon that they do like the Toad contract. That summon can die; its not a unique summon and there are many more where that came from.

Wrong, Unique summonings have same rules applied, death of summoning such as boss ones like mine, are very hard to kill because most of user's boss summonings have structure to them where they cannot die.
If we are talking minor ones, then yes.. in a way; If a summon is to be attacked, it doesn't puff away, it has to have the ability to do so without the help of the summoner.

[flicks Kawada on the nose] You don't make sense, but I think I kind of know what your saying.
Maybe you don't understand what a unique summon is or maybe we have different definitions.
A unique summon is specifically summoning the boss ( Ex. Gamabunta or Manda) of the scroll, a creature that is specially named in the making of the summoning contract, or a summon that is unique to that scroll (OzanaruSyra's Cloud Summonings.)
Now, a not unique summon would be from say Sophia Rai's Ape Summoning Contract.
Get the picture?
So, yes. You still must contact the owner of the contract if a unique summon from their scroll is borderline killed. But, note that, I would just port my summon out if you think they are hurt to bad. The summon is not there to fight your battle, its there to help you and beef up your attacks. If they are wounded in battle immediately port them out so they can get treated and contact the creator saying what happened.
Does that sound right?

Any summon can die... does not need permission, once released... they are fucked until gone.

Thank you master Kawada, you are fair and just in your decisions. (until you say something against what i think)
Just have to rp them as if it was your life then huh. If two giant summons fight, then it is their to help you. Cause if not then, well if Gamabunta saw me, i expect to be eaten. He is their to kill me, not to help, its purpose is to kill.
Though if you summoned away your monster while it was badly injured it can still die (Most likely wont though unless it was exact fatal blow). On top of which, to unsummon it takes time, they will get a hit on you likly.
Most likely if your fighting someone and have to summon a boss, its a huge battle.
More then just boss uniques though, birds has 5 i think here, frog has 7+ i have seen so far on Naruto.
