Personality: Neko has a very wild nature. Living in the forests of the Fire Country for most of her life has resulted in a woman who is wild and fierce. She has little concept of right and wrong, and her survival instincts are unusually strong. As such, she will not hesitate to kill anything she considers a threat, though she has some compassion for smaller animals and feels almost maternal towards them. She rarely opts to show herself to people, and when she does they often find her unpredictable, as she operates almost exclusively on instinct.

Kankaku Gyoutai [Sensory Delay]

Description: This jutsu operates on the principle of "the hand is quicker than the eye", a phrase the user will often say just before activating it. It delays the target's sensory perceptions by one second, making it seem as though time has paused. The pause is only one second long, so it seems as though it never really happened. The user will then continue the battle, but the opponent will think the user is one place, while they were there a full second before. This allows the user to usually get in two or three hits before the target becomes aware of the delay. After this the target might realize it is Genjutsu and use Genjutsu Kai, or they might not realize it and just try to anticipate one second in advance.

Description: This is a genjutsu technique which makes the opponent believe they are bound to a large cross. Their arms are spread wide out, and legs straight down. They are bound by tree vines, and five swords. Two for each sword, two for each leg, and one for the body. Though the genjutsu doesn't cause pain it is able to make the opponent believe they are bound down by the swords, and vines, thus making them unable to move for a short period of time. This is a very effective genjutsu, however the genjutsu breaks as soon as the opponent is touched by something, or someone.

Description: After activating this jutsu, the user will usually launch a series of swift taijutsu attacks at the target. The target will think the user is growing stronger with each hit, when in actuality it is they who are seemingly growing weaker. This is also a double form jutsu, so even using Genjutsu Kai once will not stop it, and it is not visual so an eye Bloodline cannot see through it.. The strength reduction is gradual, usually ten percent every minute for five minutes, but it is enough to make a difference. What this jutsu actually does is trick the mind into limiting the muscles of the body even more than it already does, and in this manner the strength reduction becomes real. This jutsu will last half an hour or until successfully dispelled twice.

Background: In the village of Konohagakure no Sato was born a girl. Her parents hated shinobi, blamed them for their son being killed, and wanted better for their daughter. So, three years later, when they were sure it was safe and all preparations had been made, they sneaked her out of the village and ran for three days and three nights, finally finding an empty cave in which to shelter.

For several months they taught their child to survive in the wilderness, hoping she would have a better life than she would if the hated academy got its hands on her. And then tragedy struck, and a large wolf, impossibly large, came and slaughtered her parents like mice. As it turned its gaping maw on the litle girl, a similarly large panther broadsided the wolf and snapped its neck with powerful jaws.

The huge cat then prowled closer to the little girl, sitting right next to her and licking her face. A single word escaped the girl's mouth before the panther left: "Neko". And so this became her name, as she could not remember her given name. Several times throughout the years she was in dager until the panther came, and then it never came again once she turned 15. This was when she found a pair of gloves with three blades each extending from the backs of them, as well as ten curiously shaped, four-bladed things with a hole in the middle. The four blades were curved back, and Neko found them easy to throw and sharpen.

It was only when she turned 19 that she discovered a scroll containing secrets of the ninja, though she didn't know these were only the basics. She liked them so much that she has since searched for more of the scrolls, trying to learn more of these "techniques", as the scroll called them.
