Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.

Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.

Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will launch a direct wind attack from their palm. It deals pressure damage rather than the usual cutting damage of wind element and packs quite a punch. Despite not being very damaging, it is quick to be executed and the actual projectiles are extremely fast.

Description: An unusual technique, it creates an eye of sand somewhere not far from the user. The shinobi must close one of their eyes and put two fingers of either hand to that eye, and they will be able to see from the third eye's perspective. Of course, closing both eyes will not prevent the technique from working, and actually allows them to keep their hands free and use the technique nonetheless.

Description: This technique requires desert coffin to completely wrap around the target first to be used. It is very simple in concept: it makes the sand come together with great force, crushing the victim with extreme pressure. It is said that the victim does not even have time to feel pain from this jutsu since they die instantly.

Description: A technique very similar to desert funeral, only one that works with an area covered with sand. Putting their hands on the sand, the shinobi will cause it to crush anyone caught inside of it. Naturally, this technique is absolutely useless if the opponent is standing on top of the sand or above it somehow.


Name: Shukaku no Hoko - Halberd of Shukaku

Description: This is a very powerful attack, though it only affects a single target. The shinobi will gather sand into their hand and form a specifically shaped spear from it. This spear has great penetrating power, and while it must be thrown by hand, its speed will be increased by the sand manipulation ability. Ironically, it isn't really much stronger than other similar jutsu, but it takes little chakra for its level.


Name: Shukaku no Tate - Shield of Shukaku

Description: This is a very powerful defense. The shinobi will gather sand and high-density minerals from the ground and compress them with their chakra to form them into the shape of a small Shukaku demon to block an attack. This figure provides great defense, partly because it isn't subject to any elemental weaknesses, so there are very few things that can really penetrate it. Unfortunately, it isn't very big, so it is ineffective against large-scale attacks.

Description: A very powerful defensive ability, it fully utilizes sand manipulation to protect oneself actively. Following the shinobi's will, the sand will move to intercept any attack they desire. Of course, this is far from an instant move and larger attacks may be impossible to avoid by using sand as a shield. The shinobi may form the sand into a spheric barrier around them to get better protection, but that naturally prevents them from seeing, and likely hearing, smelling or otherwise detecting, the opponent until the sphere is removed.

Description: One with the ability to manipulate sand may form a thin layer of sand on their skin for additional protection. The sand will be compressed with their chakra to be able to reduce a formidable amount of damage, but it takes a considerable amount of chakra to use it. This also makes the user heavier, which can prove to be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on situation.

Description: A technique the primary point of which is producing sand from the ground. The shinobi will use some sand to float it up and then fall down as rain.
