[Kinjutsu]Creating a Jutsu - Earth Release: Stone Kin

Spoiler:

Earth Release: Stone Kin
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B (Kinjutsu)
Requirements: Main Element Earth / Must be taught by Nushi / Must be near a source of stone (enough to form the body)
Description: The user summons one or more Stone Kin, which are three-foot-tall humanoids made of stone. They are fairly quick, and their physical strength is amazing, capable of lifting boulders three times their size. They are lightly resistant to Fire, Wind, and Lightning elements, though Water and Ice elements are extra-effective. A chuunin can summon up to two, a jounin up to three, and a Kage/Sannin up to five.
Training Time: 5 Kinjutsu Points

Day 1
After his brief fun with the Suna shinobi, Nushi decided to go back home and create another stone-based jutsu. He figured that since the stone was alive, he should be able to give humanoid form to it and allow it to move freely on its own. Upon reaching his cave, he went into the secret room and retrieved a few supplies before coming back out into the open day.

He started quickly. It would require a great deal of power to do what he wanted to do, and he needed to speak to the stone about it too to see if it had any tips. First, though, he sat on his flat-top boulder and just listened. The voice of the stone became louder and louder until finally, he was one with the stone. He was so in tune with it that he knew of the attack about to happen at Oto, and so in tune was he that he also did not care. He WAS the stone at that moment, and nobody could have convinced him otherwise.

Until he was jolted out of it by Banjaku's screams. Apparently, there were several shinobi on their way to him. They were Genin and Chuunin from Iwagakure, and he cursed them loudly. They were about half an hour away at their current speed, which gave him little time to prepare. He set up rocks that could be set to fall with the slightest influence, though would not move from a simple jolt. These guys wanted his head, and would not leave until they had it or were dead.

He set more traps, hollowing out the ground beneath thin layers of rock he could move and placing spikes at the bottom or Stone Pillars around the edges. He made the sides glass-smooth, so that even if they survived the fall, anyone that got trapped in one could not escape easily. This was his home, after all, and he would not run from the scum his parents had been driven out by. He had exceeded their power, and could do what had evaded their power. He could kill them all!

Finally, after twenty-five minutes, his preparations were complete. No enemy would escape here alive, except maybe if they sent one of the legendary Sannin, though he wasn't sure if Iwagakure no Sato had shinobi so powerful. Still, he doubted they would send such a person to deal with a simple missing-nin. He had been, after all, not even Genin power when he left, though he HAD killed several Iwagakure shinobi already.

Then he saw the first hints of them. All this time he had been sitting on his boulder, and still he sat there, waiting. There were fifteen in all, and normally even five chuunin and ten genin could defeat him. But they were on his turf now, which meant they didn't have the slightest chance. Each one would fall to the very element their country was known for, and Nushi would remember the irony of such a fate for many years.

The Iwa shinobi spread out in formation when they caught sight of him, and each one had a blade drawn. They were all taijutsu specialists, as he could easily tell from their movements, and their light footfalls upon the stone told him they worked better with finesse than with brute force. This was good for him, as each one would take less to kill. They all approached cautiously, and the leader spoke.

"My name is Kotaki Sabaru of Iwagakure no Sato, and we are here to kill you, though I doubt this is news to you. I simply figured you would like to know the name of your demise."

Nushi just laughed as the man spoke. "You? Come to kill me? You must be an expendable asset for Iwagakure to have sent you to kill me!" With this he loosened two hundred rocks he had placed on the cliffsides and let them come thundering down. Everyone of them tried to dodge as their doom came upon them, but only the five chuunin escaped. Every genin was faced with a gruesome death as hundreds of pounds of rock crushed them.

"Arise!" Nushi called as he tried to simply create a Stone Kin, as he would call the living stone creatures, after a string of seven seals that "felt right". What came was less than expected, a six-inch-tall gremlin-type creature made of stone. He, the Stone Master, had failed to put the exclamation mark after the attack, instead putting three dots.

The leader laughed so hard he started to cry when the tiny stone creature formed. Nushi couldn't help but laugh either, and nor could he help but notice two of the chuunin were on top of one of the pitfalls. He straightened up quickly, as did the leader, and the other four stopped smiling and pulled the seriousness back into their faces.

"Now that we're finished with the comic relief," Nushi said as he lifted Banjaku into the air, "let me show you a greater power."

He swung Banjaku down in an arc in the direction of the leader, and as a reflex the guy jumped to the side. However, this was merely a distraction, and the pitfall with the two chuunin on it collapsed. It was a spiked one, and the two of them tried to jump away as the floor beneath them collapsed inward. One managed to use the Kinobori technique to grab on to the edge, but the other one hit the wall and fell, and was impaled on four spikes.

"Well now," he said as he noticed the survivor climbing out, "I didn't expect even one of you to make it. Perhaps I've grown complacent."

At this point the two who had not been targeted threw various weapons at him, forcing him to tap the ground with Banjaku and raise a stone wall. The barrier was from one wall to the other, and he heard all the weapons hit it. After that, he created a doorway that only he could pass through in the stone barrier, and pulled out his composite bow. This was an amazing device that was perfect for killing though or fast opponents. It was extremely difficult to dodge the arrows, fast as they were.

He pulled out two, though unfortunately the bow could only fire a single arrow at a time. "It's time to meet your maker," he said as he nocked the first arrow. He aimed for the first of two and fired quickly, hitting him in the head with a penetrating shot, while the second arrow came to his bow and left, arcing out to strike the second weapon-thrower in the heart.

The leader was now very close, his weapon a spear with a blade at each end. He thrust the weapon at the missing-nin, sure that he would accomplish his mission with this single blow, but dropped the weapon and recoiled in shock then it hit solid stone. Confused as he was, he managed to keep the presence of mind to regroup with his one remaining subordinate. They whispered a bit, and Nushi let them, knowing it would be interesting to see what they came up with.

All of a sudden, the underling was gone. It wasn't shunshin, and he wasn't that fast, so the only explanation was Genjutsu. The Stone Master attempted to use Kai, but it didn't work, and he knew why when a tree grew from his feet to entangle him. He smiled as He channelled his chakra through Banjaku to hit the tree above him, and the illusion was dispelled as the user lost his head. Perhaps these weren't ordinary chuunin after all.

Of course, the leader thought they had won, and he jumped over the wall, only to meet Banjaku coming down, a shocked expression on his face from the sight of his fallen comrade as he was impaled through the heart. He didn't die instantly though, and had enough strength left to do something Nushi should have anticipated. Sabaru, the one who had been sent to hunt him, thrust a poisoned senbon through his shoulder.

Nushi cringed as he knocked the stone wall down and threw the dead hunter away. Banjaku, can you tell what kind of poison this is? he asked the sentient blade. Yes, master, it is a paralytic poison. I think they planned it this was so that the two greater shinobi now on their way could kill you easily.

He went inside then, searching his antidotes for the proper one. He quickly applied the last of the paralytic solvent upon the wound and it instantly turned numb, though the poison was being deestroyed. He had five hours, according to Banjaku, as the two were taking their time. Some traps were still up, but he had much to do still before facing two jounin.

OOC: He isn't the only rank training I've done today. He's the 4th, so forgive me for rush reading. I'll give him a 3 instead of a 2. happy?
fyodor666

OOC: Now now, I would have been happy with a 2, but a 3 means only .5 to go!

IC: Finally, the antidote had finished doing its job. He regained full use of his arm and went to work setting up more traps and using stone slabs to ferry the dead bodies away from his home. They would start to stink soon, and if the two jounin found no bodies they might think the lower-ranked shinobi had done the job. However unlikely that was, it was always a chance. In addition to setting traps, he fashioned several stone spears that he could fire at them.

He still had about half an hour, even though the two enemies had stepped up their pace some, so he worked on the Stone Kin dilemma. The gremlin thing had crumbled in the middle of the fight, completely unnoticed, and returned to its natural state. He inspected the spot he had seen the thing crumble at, but found no evidence. It had actually be reabsorbed into the stone, something he had not forseen.

Regardless, he performed the seven seals again, and this time produced two of the gremlins. Their voices were too small to make out, though he caught a couple of words and so he knew they were speaking and not just making noises. The only explanation was that his series was missing at least one seal. He wasn't in the mood for trying each one out, and he had used a great deal of chakra setting traps, so he pushed it out of his mind. The seal would come to him when the time was right, just as the seals for the other Stone jutsus had.

Aside from the fact that he was getting weary, his two opponents had increased their pace again, probably because two so experienced would have sensed something amiss by now. He had made sure to set the bodies in the opposite direction his opponents were coming from so as not to alert them, but they were still jounin, and likely tracker-nin at that. He had just finished this thought when the two shinobi of Iwagakure no Sato came into view. He had laid on the ground with a pitfall five feet from him to catch them, though it likely wouldn't work.

They cautiously made their way to the seemingly helpless Nushi, smiles on their faces. Then they showed alarm upon taking the first step, and their level of ability became clear to the Stone Master as he knew they had detected the trap. He quickly broke the stone inward, aware that they would dodge but knowing also that they would move back. He then imploded the ground around him, leaving a six-foot-diameter circle of stone in a sea of spikes.

The one jounin registered sirprise, but the other, the one who had stepped ahead, showed understanding on his face. Nushi stood and sized the two up, determining that they were both highly dangerous, but realizing something else as well. One of them had a Kiri headband with a strike through it, a mercenary hired by the other jounin no doubt. He suddenly regretted making his pond when the hand seals were completed and a Water Dragon rose.

Up in front of him rose a wall of stone. Though he knew the dragon would break through this, it was only a diversion to make them think the dragon struck him and he fell into the pit. Before the dragon hit, he dug into the ground with his chakra, going below and digging under the pit. He came up several feet higher on one of the cliffsides, just as the jounin approached the pit to check his corpse.

What they didn't expect were ten poison needles to hit one of them in the back, almost immediately paralyzing him and sending him into the pit. The other turned around, and Nushi saw that it was the Iwa one.

"So, you're the lucky one, eh? I suggest you leave," he said as he formed the seals. "That is, if you CAN leave."

He added one more seal to the end, hoping it would work. Lo and behold, on either side of the hunter-nin rose a three-foot-tall Stone Kin, just what he had pictured them to be. So shocked was the jounin that he just stood there as the two creatures grabbed his arms and pulled extremely fast, ripping both off at the shoulder. The hunter fell facedown, dead.

Nushi went down to the creatures. "So, you're Stone Kin, eh?" he asked them.

"Yes!" they said in unison, then melted gracefully back into the ground.

OOC: Heh, I did a bit more than necessary, but it wouldn't have made sense to cut part off.
