This question does not pertain to this forum in any way, its about a smaller one that 20 or 30 of my friends from school are in.

Anyway its a bit of an RP site and one of the people there is very..active like I don't think he even logs out anymore, and he gets impatient when I'm not logged in as I'm in alot of the RP's. Now it's not like I don't log on ever, in fact I probably do every other day.

My question is even if he runs the RP threads should he be able to move on with the story and control my character? The people here are 10 times better than the Rpers there so I figured someone here would be able to give me an answer.

No, he can leave the thread out of turn, but he can't/shouldn't be able to make you do something without permission.

He can move on with the story if you both had a planned story however, if you were the one who was head of the plot behind the thread no. He cannot do anything with your character without your permission or else it is shadowplaying. Though, some shadowplaying is good when you're not around.

That being said, I just repeated what everyone else just said....though, I hope what I said is clearer than anything else you may have read.

Also, when I said pre-determined plot, I mean stuff that is already thoroughly written out, like a major Event. He can control that if he's the leader of the thread, or if you're double teaming it. Though, you can't get mad at him if the story happen's to [F] up and thing's don't go as you planned them to.
