Personality:

When it comes to the personality aspect of Kanji, he leaves much to be desired, as he is exactly why Werewolves are the most hated of the cursed. His etiquette is non-existent, as he tends to do everything that people would consider rude. This includes swearing like a sailor, biting his nails, passing gas, and insulting every one within his sight. Having said that, due to his animalistic nature, Kanji hates for insults to be passed his way, as he feels that people are wrongly being aggressive to him. His highly instinctive nature is quite a rouse, as he does things that wouldn’t be considered close to intellectual by the other breeds of the Cursed. But even with that sad, Kanji does know how to have fun, even if it’s at the expense of someone else. This leads to him committing somewhat questionable acts, even in the presence of someone of importance. But even though he is full of playfulness, Kanji has quite the quick temper when someone challenges him to either a roe, or an actual fight. This lust to tear someone to pieces is also a side-effect of the Curse which is held upon him, one which he cannot suppress. All of this personality seems to go down the drain when he’s in the presence of a Vampire, as he tends to show etiquette which seems to be natural.

Description: A technique shared by all Cursed to some extent, it allows one to transform into animals or other forms. Only letting the user transform into small, unsuited for combat animals at first, this technique grows in power as the one with the Blood does. When transforming into an animal, the user gains all of the animal's traits. The transformation is performed at will.
Werewolves can transform into pretty much any quadruped carnivore mammal. For example, with felines and canines, they start out small, domestic-sized and practically useless in battle, and grow bigger and stronger with rank. By C-rank, they reach average wolf size and by A-rank they reach tiger size. At S rank, they grow even bigger, as tall as an average human male on all fours, and their teeth and claws become unnaturally large and strong and they also get tough hide that provides defense against weak attacks. At SS rank, they grow larger yet and this hide becomes strong enough to deflect some thrown projectiles and seems to be made of small razor blades as it cuts anything it comes in contact with. Different animals may have different added abilities of this sort. Werewolves gain another ability which is accessed through this technique and is pretty much the focus of the Curse: Were-Form.

Background:

Born in Kaze no Kuni, Kanji was born to two werewolf parents who met in order to keep the ‘Curse’ of the clan from becoming extinct. This lust, though instinctive, bred what would now be called one of the rudest people to ever be spawned from the world. Even as a cub, Kanji was quite troublesome, though quite powerful in high demeanor and direct strength. After only five years of living with his mother, she quickly went away, leaving Kanji in the desert to fend for himself. Though he was left alone, this abandonment was primal, and therefore he knew it would happen eventually. Growing in age, the boy began to aquire the insatiable hunder, which led to him mauling people in the country of Kaze no Kuni. It didn’t take long before people found out the culprit...mainly because he bragged about it so severly. After exiling him from the entire country, Kanji went on to find others like himself, something which he has yet to succeed in.
