Creating a Jutsu: Control Over Stone

Day 1
Nushi awoke one morning with a strange feeling in his entire body. He was back in his cave, where he had been for two weeks now, trying to think of some way to further protect this home of his. He thought of different ways to trap the entrance, but the fact remained that an exceptionally skilled ninja could still disable the traps and get in. He thought of putting up a door, but again an exceptionally strong ninja could just break it down.

If only I could move the stone into the doorway, I could sleep much easier, he thought to himself. Then he heard a voice that he couldn't pinpoint. It was coming from all around, almost as if someone were using Utusemi no Jutsu, but the voice was more of a whisper. It spoke of men with headbands patrolling around a large village, and of snow-capped peaks too high for him to reach. This went on for four hours.

It was then that he realized it was the stone that was speaking. He put his ear to the wall, and it became a little louder, though was still little more than a whisper. It told him that two men with headbands, which he interpreted as shinobi, were headed to his cave. The headbands had a symbol that comprised of a rounded part, a vertical line, and a horizontal wavy line. He interpreted this as a musical note, that of Otogakure no Sato.

They arrived fifteen minutes later to see Nushi with his eyes closed and holding Banjaku out, point towards them. "What is your purpose here?" he said to them. The stone told him they were startled, and then one spoke. "We are messengers from Otogakura no Sato, and we are here to tell you that your presence is required at the mansion of the Otokage."

Nushi laughed loudly, not opening his eyes once. He didn't need to see, as the stone was all around and it told him where the shinobi were, and that they had pulled out kunai. "My presence is required, is it? Well, you can tell your Otokage that if I decide to come, it will be on my time, and not his." With that he did something that he wasn't sure at the time would work. He asked the stones to strike the intruders hard enough to leave bruises and welts, but not hard enough to kill them. He asked them to do this until they went running, and he gave them chakra to enable them.

They did as he said, and the two Oto shinobi went running. He went back inside and slept, knowing they would not return soon.

Day 2
Nushi awoke the next morning to Banjaku's mental screams. It seemed that the sword was able to speak to the stone through him, and the stone told him of four shinobi this time, but they all had weapons drawn this time. Apparently, they had not dared go back to their master without him, and so had recruited two mercenary ninja, distinguished by the crossed-out headbands.

He got up, assuring Banjaku that he would be fine and that even four shinobi of the level the ones yesterday were would not be a problem. He sat on a lage rock outside and held Banjaku pointed in their direction yet again. This time though, he had to wait three hours for them. The stone had given him advance warning. He passed this time juggling three small stones with chakra, and set them down when they shinobi were only a few yards away.

"I see you have brought friends this time," Nushi said to the one who had spoken the day before, his eyes still closed. "It doesn't matter how many you bring here. The stone is my ally, and as such is your bane. I will not come by force." With that, he put more chakra into the stone, lifting a large slab from the ground. It flew at them, and it had a very sharp edge. One of the Oto genin dodged by hitting the ground, but the other three were cut very uncleanly in half. The remaining one ran for it, and would likely tell the Otokage of what he had done.

He went to sleep that night after practicing his new feat some more, and found that he could control several such slabs at a time.

Day 3
The sun was well up when he awoke the next morning. He had slept very late, and apparently Banjaku had thought himself pretty nice in allowing Nushi to do so. He stepped outside and went to his stream, then got an idea. He used his newfound power to redirect the stream closer to his cave. He was careful to start farther up the cliff, making a very long canal, and then made a medium-sized pool with the edge about ten yards from his cave.

He enjoyed being able to do this, to be able to bend something to his will. It made him feel stronger, somewhat god-like. Still, he didn't let it go to his head. He was sure there were others out there who could do something similar, and he would have to eventually do out and look for them. But right now, he just enjoyed his stones.

All of a sudden, the wind gusted and he lost his balance on the boulder he sat upon, and a stone went flying into his cave. It hit the back wall with a great force, and, lo and behold, made a weird sound. Almost like a drum. Nushi spoke to the stone, asking why that sound had been made, and the stone replied that beyond three feet of stone there was a very large chamber. Then he got an idea.

Would you let me pass through you? he asked of the stone. The reply was a resounding yes, almost as if the stone would be honored to do so. He hesitated, not sure hoe to go about this. He thought for five hours, then focused chakra into his hand. He released a small amount, and a rectangle four feet wide, seven feet tall, and one foot deep disappeared. He did this four more times, and the chamber was revealed.

He asked the stone if anyone could pass through the tunnel, and it replied that only he and anyone he allowed could pass through or even see it. The path would close again after an hour, and he would have to re-create it again at that point. The self-proclaimed Stone Master proceeded to move his most valuable items into the chamber, and lit a torch for small light. It would last about two days, at which point he would replace it.

And then he slept, confident that nothing could be stolen from him.

I skimmed over it, I'll re-read it later...but that's a funny way to skill-mod, making an entrance only you and whoever you want to can see/pass through...

OOC: It was approved. And it makes sense too, since the stone is my ally. And you realize the material HAS to be stone. It won't work on metal or anything.
