Chapter IV: Part II. The Fragile BalanceThree years have passed since Eric Hatake and Lava Mai organized the attack on the Otokage, Zieg. The ninja villages have restored their former glory, avoiding any major conflicts for the past years. However, a lot of things have changed during that time.
Ky Inuzuka, the Hokage, left the village for an unknown destination, leaving Renima, previously a sannin of Konoha, in his place. However, he did not last long in his position either. Renima soon died under mysterious circumstances, leaving his friend Inuzuka Tamotsu as the new Hokage. However, as if continuing a tradition, Tamotsu left the village to pursue his own goals soon after, leaving Tachibana Ukyo in his place as the 9th Hokage.
However, before Tamotsu became the Hokage, he was the Tsuchikage. While Renima was still the Hokage, the Rock village had finally recovered from the Great Shinobi War many years ago enough to be a major force once again. But soon after that, Inuzuka Tamotsu, along with a Mist shinobi Kaeor Arumashi and the most untrustworthy ninja ever named Ezekiel, assassinated the Tsuchikage and usurped his power. Later, when Tamotsu left Stone to become the Hokage, Kaeor took the place of Tsuchikage.
Neither Suna nor Kiri have remained without change either. Soon after the battle against Zieg, Gaara stepped down and named his successor as a Kazekage, Ballian Mizunaka. At the same time in the Mist village, a battle between two most worthy candidates for the title of Mizukage, Ozanaru Syra and Uchiha Katsuga, took place. The Uchiha emerged victorious and now leads the Mist village. The only village that remained without major change was the Sound village, which is still ruled by none other than Itichi Zieg.
Many powerful shinobi have gone missing without a trace in this age of relative peace. There are rumors that the Sound village is planning a new assault on Leaf, and this time, they've got allies. The group known as Silent Reality has yet to make a major move, and its goals remain uncertain.
