Disturbed, Creepy, Bloodthirsty... All that is just her on a good day. Shes more then a little fond of suggesting various ways that she could kill the person that shes currently interacting with, and often she comes fairly close to carrying them out, which is one of the main reasons shes never been promoted. The other reason.... the closet that she could come to a stealth would be someone sealing her up in a scroll and bringing the scroll with them. Otherwise she will just walk right up to the closest enemy, grab her axe and start swinging, and attidue that is often brought to problems that plague her in real life. Indeed she frequently sleeps outside of the village, to prevent her from gutting civilians that she thinks look at her funny.

In a fight this translates rather badly... for the enemies and sometimes for those around her. When blood spills she almost always flies off into a rage, targeting the closet enemy of Kumo that she can reach, and not stopping until the enemy is a bloody pulp. That's not to say that she lacks finesse, even in the middle of a blood rage she often performs feats that could almost be considered 'Artistic' its more the fact she doesn't notice it. When she runs out of enemies, she has on occasion turned on friends and allies, but this has nothing to do with choice, and more to do with her state of mind at the time, which basically translates into.... KILL EVERYTHING.

Whether it is a psychological thing, or something else has been quietly debated, among those around her, with some of the braver ones whispering that she belongs to an ancient cult of blood and murder. Nobody ever asks her, because one of things that she is known for is religious intolerance. Mentioning that their are gods is enough to attract her attention (and not in a good way), and mentioning Jashin is pretty much a short cut to receiving an axe to the face.

Where Res was born, nobody knows. The first time that anybody from Kumo is known to have set eyes on her was when a routine patrol of the country side came to a farm that appeared to have been attacked by bandits. Inside the farm they found two things... A bloody ruin, from which they were unable to identify any bodies, and a young child, covered in blood. The thing they found weirdest however, was the fact that the entire time that she was in  the house, she couldn't stop smiling.

Growing up, that smile wasn't seen very often, and most of the time, it was only after something bad had happened. She was never the one to cause these things however, either directly or indirectly, but when something did happen, chances are that she would be the first one on the scene, especially if blood was spilled. The workers at the orphanage that he grew up in often joked that asking her would be the easiest way to determine the location of any accident. Around the time they think she turned 7 however, these had stopped becoming jokes, and started becoming dark rumors.

It didn't help that at this time she stopped just watching the accidents, and instead actively began to help the people involved in them. While this at first was scene as admirable, it didn't escape some peoples notice that she always ended up covered in far more blood then most people would consider reasonable. When she began to roam further and further away, turning up at accidents at the other side of the village the rumors intensified. Just when the orphanage was beginning to decide her future fate, she decided for herself, running away from the place that had been her home leaving nothing but a note. A day later she enrolled in the Ninja academy.

Fast Forward 5 years, to the approx age of 12, and a similar yet different Res graduated the academy. Though she still had a habit of turning up at accidents, she was rarely bathed in blood. Those who remembered her younger habit believed that she was cured of whatever problem caused it to happen, however if they taught at the academy they soon would have realized a much darker truth. In the academy, rather then learn the typical styles and weapons taught, she instead began to play around with weapons developing something stranger and some would say more sinister. Whatever it was, it seemed to be effective, with her soon earning the academy unofficial record for number of opponents made bleed in practice bouts.

This trend continued well into her genin days, with her first team refusing to spar with her at all, after she scared their Sensei's face with her chain. It was during their first battle as a team, that another side of Res emerged. After being attacked by a large group of bandits, their leader decided that he wanted a couple of pretty Kunoichi trophies, and attempted to capture both herself and her sensei. When they wouldn't come quietly the leader decided to force the matter, and gouged a chunk out of her side with a axe. Ten seconds later he was dead, one of her Nekode jammed through his neck. 10 minutes later and not a single bandit was left alive, with Res standing in the middle of the clearing blood stained axe in had and the same smile that she wore when she was first found. This time however the smile had a few words to go with it....


"How much pretty blood.".

Shortly after this incident, the former Raikage made a note down on her file 'not suitable for promotion.' The cause of this hasn't yet been pinpointed, but there are number of incidents that could have been the cause. The first (and only person) to attempt to hit on her ended up in a coma, due to repeated blunt force trauma caused by a fairly heavy axe to the face. Her sensei ended up in a similar situation after he attempted to separate her from the first guy. Though many people wondered about the situation afterward, no more action was taken, besides to forever ban her from attempting the chunin exams. Whether or not the new Raikage will undo this ban is yet to be seen.
