Appearence:
Slender, looks skinny but is quite built, has jet black hair and sharp eyes, his right eye is usually covered by his hair. Sometimes he wears a sleeveless shirt with a loose black, bit tattered scarf hung loosely around his neck. But he usually wears a black jacket with the part covering his body stopping just above his waist, and a white strap wrapped around his upper arm. Along with that he wears semi-tight black pants and black boots, which have a small white outlining to it. Under his sleeves he wears samurai forearm guards. Over his right shoulder is his Suna forehead protector. His face resembles both masculine charm and an almost feminine look. (Bishounen)

Katars that are hidden under his forearm guards and pop out when enough pressure is applied by his fingers on his palm. They are double-edged smooth cut blades, each approx longer than finger length.

Is a liquid poison at room temperature but can be quickly dried or turned to gas through several methods. This is one of the strongest toxins Renato has been able to develop and hone to a certain degree.

The toxin works in this form in a regular body, when a normally functioning motor nerve is stimulated it releases the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which transmits the impulse to a muscle. Once the impulse is sent, the enzyme acetylcholine esterase immediately breaks down the acetylcholine in order to allow the muscle or organ to relax or contract.

This toxin disrupts the nervous system by inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholine esterase by forming a covalent bond with the site of the enzyme where acetylcholine normally (breaks down). The result is that acetylcholine builds up and continues to act so that any nerve impulses are continually transmitted, and muscle contractions do not stop. In short, the muscle spasms and is uncontrolled by the person that is affected by it.

Signals that are sent to the brain never reach, and signals that are sent from the brain to the muscle never reach. They are blocked from either path. The signal from the muscle keeps resending the signal to no avail and thus, spasms. The infected person unable to control the limb that was affected.

Over time (max of 5 minutes, though depends on the muscle mass and strength of the targeted muscle) paraylsis may occur due to the spasms, because the muscle tiring. The infected area, growing limp. Still uncontrolled by the infected.

This poison is also a liquid, which can be dried and is often poured over his weapons, as a coating.

Background:
Hinatase Renato was born in the Village of the Sand, into the small yet prestigious Hinatase clan. The Hinatase clan has a lineage as old as the village itself, consisting of a long line of Samurai and Shinobi tradition and various martial art styles that have been used throughout the coming ages.

Renato is the son of the great Hinatase Shuusuke, known throughout the villages as the Crimson Flare. Renato is almost an exact image of his father in his younger days, and almost the same in style, skill, and mindset.

When he was 12, Renato's older brother was killed in a mission after being ambushed by assassins. His older brother's death was such a blow to him that he refused to speak for three months. That same year, Renato entered the Shinobi Academy, all for his brother.

Renato's family one brother now, two younger sisters, his father, and his mother, both retired shinobi. His father Shuusuke is the Hinatase clan's current leader. Renato is heir to the clan.

Throughout his life, Renato was taught differently than other shinobi. Taught and trained under the shinobi named Natsuke, Renato learned to fight and sense danger by instinct, taking risks and mental prowess. Renato was also taught to "Fight with the intent to Protect, rather than the intent to Kill."

At age 13, Renato graduated the academy and was granted shinobi status in the village hidden in the sand. He now seeks to prove himself as a member of the Hinatase clan.
