Maika had entered the area. He had a unique swagger to his movements at the time. Examining the stage for his next move with quick glances he saw the lush trees covering the sky tops. Followed with the brown ground resembling a layer of almond. The trees sprouting from the ground like some form of tropical deity as the top of the mountain seemed to whirl with the sky itself. The atmosphere made the scenery a great place to view the sky which was clear and crisp and if you looked hard enough you could see every star in heaven. All of which seemed to make it perfect with a red gravel road like aged stone of a great canyon. Maika entered the area with a genuine calm. His body swayed to and fro with an aura of tranquility that could be mistaken for moving meditation. He stared out into the area and gave it a great stare. "This is where I will do it!" he spoke calmly as though to a friend. The day would be spent training and testing his abilities, perfecting the art of shinobi like countless ninja before him. He had never seriously tested himself but this would be it, the time to which he added a new jewel to his barren crown. He wouldn't tolerate the status of Bum of the Clan. He was going to start his training as soon as possible making haste as not to waste a kiss of the suns light. This caused his energy to make on a serious nature even making it seem as though he had some royal aura of some lost king.

+ 0.5. Trying making it a bit longer, and perhaps describe more then just his mindset. Taking about things such as his stance, the environment and other such things can easily help to make your posts longer and better. Also, E ranked academy clones can only mimic your moves, so you will have to try and think of a different way to train I'm afraid.

OOC:Do you mean mimic me as to what I am doing at the moment? I thought clones could move around just not stuff like pick up paper and talk. And the forums or canons definition say otherwise.

ooc: While that might be true on other sites and possibly even in canon, for the sake of keeping things balanced and fair, non solid clones such as the basic academy Clone and its more advanced form the Haze clone are unable to move independently from the user due to their lack of any solid body or brains. A recent announcement was made about this (find it here), and we are currently working on revised versions of the various clone jutsu's to take this into account. Also looking at that link, if you notice for the majority of that attack on ino, the clones were basically just copying Sakura as she ran forward. Its only at the very end with the attacks that were different, and even then the fact that all 3 of them were attacking could realistically be seen as them still copying.

He had fully surveyed the area inspecting every nook and cranny with his inquisitive eye. He let every detail sink into his mind such as the height of the trees, the texture of the ground and even ant nests. He then came up with a vigorous training method after some serious deliberations. He would in one hour fill a decent portion of the small mountain with clones. Though they were normal bunshin keeping up the continuous use of this jutsu would prove difficult. It would be a great practice of his skill furthering his ninjutsu skills to a level of new achievement that would prove to be a great weapon in the field of battle. Though the clones being normal bunshin lacked any material body they still would help in receiving his new state of achievement. Seeing as how he lacked much skill in Taijutsu if he were hit by even a single enemy he would be dead. And so if he could distract an enemy with an army of clones then he could definitely make more openings in combat. Something that would be necessary to be if he were to attempt to take on taijutsu of puppet users on an even level of battle. For the future leader of the clan failure was not an option and he would not tolerate any form of losing. He was to conquer all that stood in his way and not a bit less. He would achieve dominance over all others including his father and uncle who seem to tower over him in combat.

He then closed his eyes and flipped through some handseals. These seals had a great haste to them but showed a type of precision one should expect from a shinobi. And as he finished his handseals a set of three bunshin appeared in a cloud of smoke. They were sitting next to him closing their eyes and copying his pose. He began to put out another set of clones which appeared just as instantly as the others. The clones after the smoke cleared like their earlier made counterparts took up a sitting stance identical to their creator. This was a continued process to which the clones began to grow in number. They jumped from six to nine to 12 and continued to go on. And after some time he showed his large chakra levels and chakra control by creating a small mass of clones all whom took a meditative stance. It had been five minutes and his fingers began to ache. He thought to himself Shut up you idiot... It doesn't hurt... It can't hurt not yet... It's only been five minutes! He was not going to allow this to sadden him any bit yet. Though both he and his clones all showed the pain when moving their hands they shared a face of unconquerable strength. One that showed how they would easily reach their goal of power and rank. This was truly his first shining moment. One that would begin his change to the new future of power to create a pillar for his clan to stand on and fight all ill wills.
