Sesshomaru was simply practicing his taijutsu in the desert. His every move was swift and powerful as the sand began to shift wildy around him. As Sesshomaru continued he could hear a loud squeak in the sky. As his retina locked on to the creature he could see clearly now that a hawk was flying above the desert. He simply wondered what a hawk would be doing way out here in the desert. From far away he could see the Konohagakure headband around his neck.

The hawk had been flying by with a message for the genin. It dropped a scroll of invitation for him but it jumbled with another scroll it was delivering. As it did, a giant sand gater shot out and ate the bird, knocking a second scroll from it's grip. It rolled over to the genin and opened up as if it were chance for there two to meet.
"This is a Genjutsu Kai scroll. There are many ways to learn it but some more painful then others. I will teach you a simple way to do it. Place yourself in a self-induced illusion by meditating. It will create a Genjutsu like effect. Then try to collect all your chakra and cut it's flow instantaneously. Then make it blast back into flow. This should break the illusion and most genjustsus."

IC: Sesshomaru walked briskly over to the scroll that dropped. He didn't pay any attention to the hawk who just had been made a meal by one of the desert's fiercest creatures, the sand gator. As he lifted the scroll he was mocked by the simplicity of the jutsu. He wondered why he didn't learn this jutsu before the current time. Focusing his chakra he placed him-self in a self-induced illusion which was like a genjutsu. In one swift build up he felt his chakra rise and collect together. He waited until the chakra and reached its peak and then cut its flow. Following the cut of his flow he quickly blasted it back into a flow breaking the illusion.
