Appearance: He is of average height and a thin body. His eyes are small and normal. He wears thin-framed, square glasses frequently; those few who see him without them are those who know his true name. His teeth are slightly buck toothed. His smile comes rarely but when it does it is vibrant and cheerful. His body is thin; thin arms, small stomach, long spidery legs. He has strong hair that grows fast. His stubble is often unkempt.
He wears various coloured t-shirts. Overtop he has a black jacket; simple, large buttons. His jeans are a dark blue, his shoes strong, black and water resistant. When wearing his jacket he also has matching black leather gloves; thin, but they protect him from many elements.

He is steadfast and stoic. He wanders, not fitting in anywhere he goes. He has little ambition and has never aspired for anything. His goal is to find a purpose in life to aspire for.

Background: Yehoshua was born into a normal family. They were not well-off but they did not live in poverty. They made ends meet and made a little bit more. His parents were good-natured, hard working village labourers. His father a millright, his mother worked in the community rice fields. He was a child who enjoyed the water, and learned to swim at an early age. He played many games when he was young. He was excellent at anything requiring good reflexes.
In time, the village called out for children for new shinobi. His parents enrolled him into the Shinobi Academy at the age of 13. With his quick reflexes and sharp wit, he excelled past what the other shinobi could do. He passed 3 months faster than the other shinobi and began work in the village. He completed dozens of missions within the first six months but at the time of the Chuunin Exams he declined entry. He completed more missions and declined the Exams once more. After the second time, he accepted an exchange program which let the Takigakure shinobi train in a shinobi academy of a larger and more powerful country to broaden their horizons.
He left for Kumogakure shortly after and excelled again at their intense training program. It was there that he found his art for thunder. He learned many tricks that involved thunder and amused and made his peers respect him. After several successful sparring matches using the thunder techniques, the respect soon turned to respectful fear. After another six months, he graduated their academy training. He remained in Kumogakure and worked at missions for an additional 3 months.
Now closing on the age of sixteen, he chose to explore the world. He left the village and returned to his parents for one last goodbye. He intends to visit and learn from every country and every shinobi and find his life`s purpose. _________________
