Appearance:
Yamimaru is a very dark wolf. He is tall and slim. He is built more for speed attacks rather than power. His dark fur and neon red eyes make him look rather evil and scary. For some reason, his claws and fangs are about an inch longer than normal wolves.

Personality: Yamimaru is much like Setsuki. He is calm and very intelligent. He likes to think out his moves just like Setsuki. Yamimaru may look very dark and menacing, though he is actually very kind, at least to Setsuki. He likes playing with other Inuzuka dogs and he likes picking on Shiro's dog, Kamaru. Yamimaru tends to like the same people Setsuki does. He is also very protective of her against strangers. He tends to growl at any unknown person approaches her. He likes to never leave her side and becomes very sad when he has to. He looks for her while repeatedly wimpering. Yamimaru thinks he is better than other animals, though he is not snobby about it. He helps other animals in need that he feels are weaker than himself.

Jutsus:

Background: Yamimaru was given to Setsuki when she was 2 months old. Yamimaru was always very protective of her, even from the begining. He'd growl and bark at any other Inuzuka pet that came near her. Yamimaru's personality reflects Setsuki alot. They are both very calm and intelligent. They prefer thinking and speed over brute strength. Yamimaru has never once left Setsuki's side in his life. He grew up, like Setsuki, never meeting his true parents. It is rumored though that his mother was a wolf and father was a demon, giving him his dark and evil appearance.

This looks more like a hell hound than a wolf.
Also, how can it be 7 if it was given to Setsuki, who is 17, when she was 2 months old?

The concept of dogs years is the idea of comparing a dogs lifespan to a humans in terms of "years". A dog has only 1/7 the lifespan of a human. Meaning they age 7 times faster. With this fact it can be assumed that one year for us is in turn like 7 years for a dog. It is comparing the relative life span of the dog and its aging rate to that of the average human. It is not a real thing, just an idea. Though this does not really matter, because this is a wolf.

Yeah. Plus, I believe all the dogs on Naruto would have to last longer, other wise each Inuzuka would have 3 different dogs their entire life.
